Nice idea, but I expect it has clipping issues all over the skin.

Is that a livery or dazzle camo?! Anyway, yeah, it's fairly easy to make the texture or textures separately and paste them onto the skin as you want. Just remember to paste them, rotate them first then adjust for stretching.

I know yall put hard work into your responses, but I am personally too busy right now to care. The FO8_NASCAR paint schemes are my personal schemes and not online. So Im not sure why such the awareness for them.

as a advanced skinner i realy need to say TRY GIMP. You´re skins are lowres because you´reusing small templates. Look at http://skinnerz.proboards.com/ to get the "pro-kits" wich are in 2048px². You dont need to use the layers. But you should make a easy skin with some line on a 512px template and on a 2048px template. import them to lfs and you will see the difference.

The difference between gimp and paint is that you can draw clean lines. If you draw the same line in paint it will look like stairs in you house. You can clearly see the effect on your skins. Download gimp if you have no chance for photoshop and make the same line. you will see the difference. Aswell save the files as jpg. never do bitmapfiles. they´re reducing your files to much and are much bigger overall.

A other point is to get more time for one skin. don´t paint 2 lines and say you´re done. Did you ever watched a real racecar? Most of them have sponsors. You can add them with the layers in gimp very easy. you also can swap them around without a problem. But as Niko said its about practise. When i started skinning with photoshop i also had to learn the layer functions. it took some time but i think i did very well.

You don´t need to make artworks like me. But may google racecarlivery to get some inspirations. Ther´re easy designs wich look quite good. And try to make something "real".

A normal skin i made in the past(the good ones of me) took me atleast 3hours minimum. To get the aligning etc done.

Its justa advice and i hope you will get it and try it.

PS.: Also never copy things from a photo and put it on a skin. it looks horrible.

Or, you could make your own:

Make a new photoshop document, 512x512 px (but any size will work).

Make the colour mode CMYK

Select the Black channel

Fill it with a black-to-white gradient

Apply Filter/Pixelate/Colour Halftone, make the Max. Radius 12 and change the value of Channel 1 to 45.

Play with the max radius value for different densities of dots.

You can either cut and paste this onto your skin document, or you can export a brush from it.

you are wrong dude. yes this is Tady bodykit with parts from other bodykits. Headlights by aciite and grill bumper from Wise Square bodykit by Kamikaze but hey this skin have more parts from others.

if you guys make a skin, put it in a folder in mediafire then you see it on the web and nobody believe that it's your skin, you will maybe understand.

By the way i got a lot of lights for the XRT/XRG in my web

Hi, first apologize me if i post this thread in the wrong category, the reason Why i post it here is because it's about skinning.

Yes so as a Skinner, bodykit maker for LFS Since 2010. I still encounter problems like
guys who edit my skins use my bodykit's and don;t put the credits on or even still decals from my public skin ( Which is very stupid because i have released the decals i used on--> LFSdrift.co.uk TaDy's Decals shop )

So yeah, if there is some of you guys who edit public skins steal things etc.. just post your reason here, and we will just talk about it.

First When we make public skins it's because we want others to use our creation.
i can understand the fact of editing it because every people have a differrent style, but if you want a personnal skin, just ask a skinner to make a skin for you, then be patient because making a skin is not that simple and yes it takes time.

Second, When you use somebody's skinkit or bodykit, use us it to make a skin on right?, but then why delete the original credits? because it's on the skin mask which have nothing to do with the skin itself. i am sure skinners will understand that feeling.

Third the decals!!! seriously, i mean just type into google " example logo png " and set to large image, is it hard? and now for those who doesn't know now you know I have made some sponsors decals for skining so guys i will make a thread in LFSforum because actually it's on LFS Drift.co.uk only. they are High resolution in PNG transparent background, easy to use.

Fourth, Private works!!!, Don't tell me guys that you got no privacy in your life? Yes private skins and kits are like, I need something for me" Specially for me ONLY" that's why it is private. so respect the privacy of stuffs and the life guys.

And if you let me know other reason why you guys are stealing copying editing etc..
just say it so we can find a way out guys.

Unofficial TC Racing XRR 2015 design by MousemanLV. I challenged myself to come up with a design that I liked and I do indeed like it. I do not expect you the audience to like it because I do realize that there are quite many issues with the skin (some clipping here and there, only noticeable when zoomed in) and some other flaws). Other then that, this is actually a skin that I have finished because in most cases I either give up or quit on the idea.

ok so i made skin of wildwood police skin for rb4 hope you like it, i working at the same time on atlantic city police skin pack and wildwood pack so you will see that coming in near future. BTW skin is public
