The thing is, I want to design the livery and have the spacings and what-have-you about right so I can show the people who make the design. Hence needing an F305/6/7 model. I would settle for a 302/3/4 or 308/9/10/11 as well if needs be. But not for more than about $30!!!

Essentially I want a line drawing of car from the front three-quarters so that I can sketch out some livery ideas. As I'm no line drawer, and don't have the time anyway, I thought I could import a 3d model of a suitable f3 car (2005/6/7 ideally), and create a 3D view of it in Autodesk Inventor... That way I can print out images for colouring in, or create an image file and play with it on a computer.

Hell, I'd actually go so far as use an nKP Skin Viewer if there was one!

I can't find them anywhere!! Best in 3ds max format, but I can cope with others.

Yup, consider an OS update as a format/reinstall - you lose everything you don't back up.

From iOS5 onwards though you can backup to iCloud if you want to, so you don't need a computer ever (in theory). Personally, I'll stick with local backups for a bit longer!!

It's almost like you didn't read the previous posts where I said I'd buy the DLC because of the X2011, and then sinbad mentioned I could get the old one for FREE. Especially as, I gather, the 2011 is a 2010 with slight tweaks to the aero. And as aero simulation is hardly GTs strength I doubt anyone could actually tell the difference.

So I'll just buy Spa instead. Don't see the point of paying lots of money for another two hundred shitty Skylines.

I got bored of GT5 fairly quickly, so this DLC is a great way for me to play with the Red Bull X1 thing (whatever it's called). And I love Spa, so I'll be getting both, which means I might as well get the 'complete' pack.
