Quote from BlueFlame :He acts like a spoilt brat like this. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v ... I6NQRmRvV835vrjHiIA#t=97s

But at least he does it in relative privacy, rather than through the media, and he doesn't sulk for two years each time either, unlike a certain British driver.

Demo racing is often like this. Licenced races tend to be a lot better, in the right servers.

You don't seem to understand anything. You can't comprehend that Narain didn't do anything particularly wrong, or that Vettel didn't cut across at all, and you're not taking into account the conditions, the time frame etc. And you still fail to see how giving up a corner can be beneficial at times.

And when I say "always" wrong, I mean "ALWAYS", without exception. Nobody is always right, but you are always wrong. How? Have you ever been right about anything

Fault doesn't come into it. It's a racing incident. Neither were at fault. But it was avoidable, although that doesn't imply guilt or blame (it's motor racing, not a water treatment facility).

I'd put Maldonado as 2nd driver of the day, behind Button. Vettel was good, Alonso flattered the Ferrari, but he was still being pressured by a Williams (which may prove to be btter over the season, but hard to say after this race really)... A few other brilliant drives too - Vergne, Ricciardo especially as actual/virtual rookies.

Edit: Remember that Hamilton drove into Maldonado as well at Spa. And lots of drivers (over 50% I'd say) have purposely driven into other drivers at some point...

Quote from Becky Rose :I think it is evidence of the great content that could have been if the devs would have allowed some of the talented members of the community to make it in a constructive way.

No other race sim has actually been improved by community modifications, except once development has totally stopped (e.g. GP4 or GPL). Allowing even the 'talented' people to make a mod would be terrible. You'd either end up with an over-detailed model, a blocky mess, arcade handling, difficult for the sake of being difficult (remember - driving a racing car is EASIER than driving a road car) etc etc. Unless a big mod team get together with skills that compliment each other - but they end up making games, not modding existing ones (generally).

Modding has no place in race games.

Unless you back off so that you live to fight another day and re-take the position at the following corner/lap.

Maldonado drove REALLY well today, and raced brilliantly. One tiny mistake spoilt it at the end, and it was a tiny mistake.

Quote from oscarhardwick : Not too unlike yourself tristan.

Compared to Blueflame, I am basically right all of the time.

But they also want to go last so they can respond, abort etc. And to avoid people on inlaps. And to give more time for pitstop mistakes, slip ups. That's balanced by the risk of red flags, the risk of the driver making an error (Kimi today) etc.

It's not as simple as just sending them out earlier being better.

There is no such thing as freedom of speech. You're in the dev's house, you have to play their game.

You can talk about such things elsewhere, which satisfies your legal right to be a complete dick.

Had to answer that the front wings look fine.

Had the question been about the stepped nose I might have answered differently.

I'm in. I tend to forget about this for a few races at a time, and rarely make astute judgements about my team, but top 20 is usually where I am.

Wow! I wonder if he'll come back here and tell me what set ups to use on my older, slower, poorer driven car.

One oversteer moment doesn't mean anything. Out of the final turn he was on the power reasonably early, even more so given the speed of sound versus light.

Quote from BreadC :

look where dif in and chrg is positioned they r running out of space!! lol

Lots of cars have had thumb wheels for common functions there for several years. It allows the driver to adjust more things without taking their hands off the wheel.

Where's the option "I used CTRA, hated it, and raced only on non-CTRA servers"?
