Quote from DANIEL-CRO :what the point, when it causes OOS?

Because the drifters can use it to make it look like they are pro when really they made the layout around their horrible driving skills

I've not actually seen this site before but I'm going to use it, when I buy my car in a few months I will track my fuel usage (being a student I don't really have the money to waste fuel

Quote from nikopdr :what do you think? pretty much one of the choices i'm making for a next car... pretty neat for it's age, ofcourse I'll get the fenders resprayed by a professional this time...

-74 VW Dasher/Passat It has incredibly low mileage as well, 102k km's on clock

That is actually one sexy car! I would rather that then my current options of first car (03-05 vauxhall corsa 1.0)

Quote from lukelfs :Not too sure tbh, dunno what they are really worth now.

I'd guess that the postage would be about £15? I'll have to find out a price and let you know.

Unless you'd like to make a reasonable offer?

I will think about it

What? I pay 5x more for phone internet then then I do for home broadband so your statement still doesn't convince me to want to send you some pedals

Quote from Zay :Please, I sincerely hope you're being sarcastic, you would honestly have to be a complete idiot, to think that the GS3 isn't the, or at the very least, in the top three of phones currently on the market.. Honestly, the phone is nothing short of amazing.

Thanks for the response, however I don't want to install a custom ROM or spend money to fix this, but thanks anyways

Zay

Agree with the top three maybe , but IPhone 5 FTW (not trying to start that kind of war as one of my friends has a s3 and I am so jelous of her)

I actually like how lfs makes the clutch work as it feels like one from a real car

Would feel weird if the clutch started actually working right when you first lift off

If you can get a cheapish quote for delivery then I will buy it just for parts for my brothers sidewinder (could steal the pedals as well as they are nice)

Quote from TandemMonster :Alright thanks guys. Do you know any good servers to drift on? And some setups? Also is yhe Fanatec CSR any good? The standard version?

Not sure about demo but if you buy s2 (£24) then there is a few servers that usually have a few people on them!

I would say go for it, doesn't cost lfs anything and I'm sure quite a few people here use tapatalk anyway, I've got it on my phone and iPad

This would be a amazing event and as said before can go either way, could bring in new people and get the game more well known and shouldn't cost anything(or atleast be really small amount) but it could also just be another empty event that we don't actually use to the max

Quote from gamerone00 :Cool, see you on next weekend dependent on weather i get time

what part of canada are you in? when i was in canada two summers ago i didn't find i had any crazy issues with lag even with Euro servers let alone american ones. I was just out of Ottawa, i would agree with GenesisX as you would 100% need practice on same layout/setup as if you are anything like me when i first gave drifting in LFS a shot i kept changing servers and setups and i never really got very far as i never got used to anything

I like WKD and I like LsC but this is actually better then paid tv :P , you guys have your differences and so do your servers. When I'm in LsC I have fun because I know a lot of people, when I'm in WKD I have fun because its relaxing (OMG I will even say the people are nice and give me a good laugh)

Seriously? Fighting over what?

Quote from P5YcHoM4N :1.3 means going back into the 80s and a petrol, what do you expect? It needs to be relatively new. The newer the cheaper.

What you said, yeah found a 08 Clio for £1000 (it needed work) and insurance is really cheap. It's funny how newer better cars are cheaper then older ones

Quote from Omar1 :Yup, Arosa's are pretty cheap on gumtree.

Thanks, I will look on that site. They are basically lupo's eh? I swear I seen one pulling a tent trailer because that's the only reason I looked at the car (looked far to small to pull one)

Quote from thisnameistaken :
As I understand it an 'E30' is a type of BMW? I'm not buying a BMW. Ever. I often do an 80 mile round trip to work, it would not be at all practical to do that in a 2.5L BMW at 140p a litre.

not want to get into any huge argument but depending were you live then a car with a larger engine might be better on fuel. maybe for you doing motorway miles then it wouldn't matter as unless the car has a huge turbo then you should get good mpg but in the country were i live a larger engine doesn't need to work as hard going up steep hills so generally thats that way it goes.

end of that rant..... i think you shouldn't have much trouble finding a half decent car for £2000 you could drive your band/dog around in luxury

oh and it's not a estate so don't worry

Quote from thisnameistaken :Daihatsu! Most teenage boys wouldn't be seen dead in a Daihatsu, so they are only driven by grannies, so they never get involved in expensive insurance jobs, so insurers offer lower premiums on them.

If I were you I would mostly be looking at less common cars like that, the ones that have never been popular with high-risk drivers. Daihatsu are a fairly safe bet because they are mostly the same parts as Toyotas.

yeah i had a look and i will most likely go with something in the same category as what your describing, no point looking at anything nice as i can't afford it and tbh i live in places that the car will get very muddy so any car i drive will look like sh*t

Quote from lukelfs :I've read that some people get almost 30-50% of their money back after the years over because the data is always good, even if you speed (obviously not all the time)

yeah that's why i want a black box , i'm not bothered about being monitored (i like the idea that if the computer sees you were in a crash and you don't drive off and you don't answer your mobile then they auto ring 999). i think it's good because the good young drivers actually get a chance to prove we are not all bad and we get super cheap insurance.
