Goes to show, the G25 already is good enough, there isn't much to improve when it's already perfect. Apart from the Shifter, that is. Though, the shifter looks exactly the same aswell.

He just is an ignorant noob.

Yeah, that's why you shouldn't bother talking to him, and just ignore it. (No offense Shadowww)

As for me, i'm not a fan of anything, my way of thinking is: Buy whatever suits you.
I bought an nvidia card because that was the easiest way for me to go at the time, i would have to order the ATI card i was after, but i didn't have the patience.

Ohh i love checking back to this thread, to see Bose and Shadoww.. still fighting about two pieces of hardware.

Quite hilarious on one side, but quite sad on the other.

Quote from BigPeBe :It's not a problem, it's an unwanted feature.

Like I've said earlier, there is no AA in GTA IV and that's the reason why everyone has horrible jagged edges in the game.

Patch 1.0.4.0 doesn't make a difference.

Yeah i noticed it, the patch doesn't bring a difference.
Don't agree on the first part of your post though, a friend of mine has a legal copy of GTA IV.
He doesn't have any of these problems, the game looks beautiful on his screen.

Quote from Stiggie :Sorry for bumping the thread, but i'm having some trouble here.
I want to know if anyone else is having the same ''jagged edges'' problem.
As you can see in the first picture, i've got everything set high, and at the right resolution.
Yet, as you can see in the other pictures.. i have horrible jagged edges on every single object, except for the HUD.
I was just wondering if everyone else has similar problems, or if it's just a job done badly by Rockstar.
I'm using the latest patch, 1.03.. the other specs are located in my sig.

Wonder if this is fixed in 1.04, because, apparently, i'm one of the few people who actually have this issue. I've seen plenty of movies where there clearly were smooth lines. Anyway, downloading now.

That's great, specially because it doesn't make a difference.

Not to worry, we still have a great salesman, Vince! He seems to be in jail for hitting a prostitute though.

Quote from G!NhO :You sir, you can stick your MAC up your bum hole.

They are all just computers and there is no need for you to tell us your pc is the best, because we all know that you just like to stick out so you bought a MAC and tell everybody how good you are with your MAC so now go and make love to your MAC because it is so good it even has feelings and an anus to put your wiener in.

You're such a retard. Did you ever make any sense?

Quote from G!NhO :Eh.....stiggie are you trying to say his Corvette sucks?

I'm not saying his mod sucks, i'm saying R-tractor sucks.
Out every single mod i've tried, besides maybe a few.. i never felt a connection to the car at all!
Well, not nearly as good as in LFS. The whole of the physics just feel wrong in Rfactor imho. So please don't take this personal Niels.
That's why i reacted like that, so IF he can get it to feel right, i'm mightly impressed.
But i think that's a little too complicated for you to comprehend, so i don't know why i'm bothering now.

Anyway, i'll stop now. Prolly will get a lot of flame because of this O/T, but i just wanted to point that out.

To sum up the post, i think that's all they're going to do. I've driven that, and i'd be surprised if you can get that car to drive properly.

Quote from G!NhO :btw what speed do you have it?

i have mine (ati 4850) when i am not gaming on 60% and the temps are around 53 degrees then, when i am gaming i put it on 75% and it gets about 67 degrees.

The sound doesnt bother me, when gaming i dont hear it actually.

Auto on idle says the fan runs at 40%, while in-game i think it's at around 50-60%.
I can't really ever hear the fan on auto, while if i set on 70 or 80% manually, it sounds like a vacume. PLUS i don't have to do the effort to keep on manually changing it. That's why i think auto is better. I also think Auto-fan just likes to keep the card at around 80° at full load. Never goes over that temp.
The GTX 260 is made to run hot though.

@Bose, my GPU's clock drops to 300 when idle, so there could be some truth in shadow's post.

Alright thanks guys. Increasing the Fan speed is possible, but it's actually really loud. It sounds like a 747 starting up next to you when you put it up to 100%. Right now i'll just keep it at auto. Thanks for the info anyway, good to know that it isn't harmfull.
@ Shadowww: The nvidia control panel also has an option for adjusting fanspeeds, but i use the evga precision tool instead.
