You can get some really nice headlights/taillights for it on ebay though, and other aftermarket parts too of course.

Quote from hyntty :Why is it btw that in other translations it's actually called a "trash bin"?

Because only North America recycles.

I suggest a Radeon 4650, it should perform better than a Geforce 8600.

In topics like this it's important to mention what your budget is. Getting the right video card all depends on how much are you willing to spend on it.

I like the 2nd one better, but how does it look from an angle? It sticks out, right?

I'm in computer engineering, between 3rd and 4th year, doing a TIP internship this year at IBM. It worked out well cause I got to skip the whole strike thing.

#4 is the best out of all of them. You NEED a dedicated video card if you're gonna play games, and if you want to enjoy playing them. That pretty much eliminates like 3 of your options, the ones with onboard video. Even so, I would get a computer with a better video card like geforce 9600 or 9800. Geforce 9400 isn't that good.

Sure, why wouldn't you be able to edit it? Though it's probably not written in any high level language like C, it's probably written in assembly code.

At those temps I think watercooling it would actually work negatively. For example, if you connect your CPU, GPU, NB, and RAM to the watercooling system, all the temperatures in your system would be pulled closer together. It's true that your GPU would cool down a little, but your CPU, NB, and RAM would actually heat up a little since they're all connected to the GPU. With watercooling I predict that all your components would be around 35-40 degrees when idling, and up to 50 when at 100% usage. I don't think it's worth it.

Epic fail.

Demo racer could've posted a pic of a demo car on blackwood and we would've been none the wiser, but instead posted a S2 car on south city.

The handling is really strange on the RAC because you would think the rear of the car should have more grip because that's there the engine is. But it doesn't. In fact it loses grip much easier at the rear.

Why not the Radeon 4870X2 instead of 2x Radeon 4870?

Quote from NiTRo_SvK :Oh come on people, why do almost everyone here buy complete pre-built computers ? If you just buy separately vga, cpu, mobo and everything it would be cheaper...

+1

I have to add something worth considering if you're gonna buy a pre-built system. If you build it yourself you have the freedom to choose exactly what goes into it. If you buy a pre-build computer, chances are many of the parts will suck and you will end up upgrading most of it anyway. So save yourself the trouble and the money and build a system yourself.

Honestly there's no way for the devs to enforce their EULA unless they restrict your use of LFS to a single IP address. So there goes the EULA...

But why would I wanna share my license? That's what you have to ask yourself. Especially with someone you don't trust? What if they get you banned from all servers? Then what? You've got a useless license, and you've got a bad name. And it would be YOUR fault for giving away your license. So don't share your license.

Here in Canada it's a good idea to keep a serious shovel in the car during winter, as you WILL get snowed in at least once every winter, or some snowplow will barricade you in your parking spot.

Seriously, DDR2-666 RAM is worthless when you can get DDR2-1066 RAM for $40 at the store.

Because the new Phenoms IIs "officially" only support DDR3-1333 and DDR3-1066, and so does your motherboard. The DDR3-1600 is only by overclocking.

Here's what it says on ASUS' site:
4 x DIMM, Max. 16 GB, DDR3 1600(O.C.)/1333/1066 ECC,Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory

Oh whoops, I thought AM3 was compatible with AM2+ processors, but it turns out it's the other way around, AM2+ is compatible with AM3 processors, but AM3 only supports AM3 processors.

I think you should wait a month or so for AMD to release better Phenom II processors, cause the 810 is a mid-range processor, not a high-end one. You should get a Black Edition processor, these Phenom IIs are really good for overclocking. Here are the upcoming Phenoms: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/L ... MD_Phenom_microprocessors

This will obviously be a high-end system, so why not get the Phenom II 940? The 810 isn't even a Black Edition, so it will have a locked multiplier so you can't overclock easily.
