Or if you don't want a logo you could just select all the polys that make up the sidewall and set them to the same ID as the tire itself? Should work..
Not sure, but the screenshots on the site are about it really. Just shove a car doing crazy flips in there somewhere and you have it.
Hopefully tomorrow there'll be some servers with decent pings, the netcode seemed pretty good when I was racing someone with 50 ping so it's a good sign
Physics actually feel quite nice when you finally download everything. Graphics are adequate considering it's state. Sound as well is adequate considering it's state.
But the lag, oh the lag. People seem to be trying to run servers from their 30kb/s upload connection and it just doesn't work.
Not sure about the torrent system of downloading either. I'm sure it'll be ok for mods and the such but right now it's just hassle.
All in all it's definately got alot of potential and considering it's current state it's a solid piece of work
Rendering is definately complex as Samyip said. I've been at it for.. a few months now really and I still struggle with a few things. I tend to spend a lot of time tweaking things though, usually with little or no payoff.
Basically all you would want to do is search for some rendering tutorials to learn the basics and once you have those you can start to experiment with more advanced techniques
It's not really bad spelling that annoys Tristan I think, it's more the 'I can't be arsed to type so I'll forget grammar and type with half the vowels removed'
Atleast that's my theory. If you're English and older than 12 you really should be able to type in English
If someone tries to make a move when I've got the door shut and he's nowhere near halfway along side my car and he hits me, then I will be pretty annoyed.. I only pass in chicanes etc when I'm over halfway past someones car on the inside..
