From LFS website:
The payment methods we accept are credit card (VISA, Mastercard and UK debit cards), Paypal, Moneybookers, UK Cheques and Money Orders. More information can be found on the 'Buy a license' pages (make sure you are logged in).

Hmm, it doesn't say Postal Order exactly, but I am pretty sure it is a valid way of paying. I think you will need confirmation from the developers on that point. Maybe it needs ammended to say Postal Orders as well, as it isn't crystal clear if they are the same or not.

Quote from Becky Rose :I can relate to non-payment of wages !

I wont be going this year, I was hoping i'd get some freebie tickets from a family member but the pig swill didn't think to invite me ! Oh no, sister is a burden isn't she ? Don't want her around, no this is a lads day out ...

I'll show him testosterone, i'll ram it in his face in the form of a fist !

haha! whats the saying, 'no wrath greater than a womans?'

I was hoping to goto this years GP too, but I couldn't get anyone else who wanted to go, and it is a rather large trip to make myself. Plus the tickets are pretty damn expensive.

This happens on our online servers also, it is quite annoying and there is a reason for it, but tbh I don't think any track should default to having an AX layout.

Maybe try removing/renaming the AX layout? There is a proper way of changing it, but I forget

Quote from the_angry_angel :As far as I understand it, parts of it are still a working airfield Although that could be bollocks...

Having read the article, it would be a real shame if this "threat" and its consequences were carried out

no it is still an airfield, hence you often see planes in the background. im sure there has been a 737 parked in the background a few times

edit: ah, the 737 is a fire training dummy plance

Quote from tristancliffe :Easy - bond magnesium blocks into it, and ensure that the blocks rub on the track periodically. My proposal is for the plank on F1 cars to be bolted on by big, proud fitting magnesium bolts

still, the sparks would be pretty impressive, not to mention giving people arc-eye

one really annoying thing about any online community, or any community for that matter, is that there is always a picked on minority.

unfotunately the demo racers/noobs are the ones who get picked on here.

remember we are all in the same boat, and are all racing game fans who enjoy motorsport of some sort or another. we all have alot more in common than we dont, but still manage to bicker amongst ourselves illepall most of it i am pretty sure is just good banter, and sometimes crackers put their foot in it, but otherwise nobody deserves a harsh time just for asking question that we probably all once asked.

although i do have to say the 'XF Gti club' thread was quite funny with the pictures, but nobody actaully helped the guy. i would stick to the moto "If you don't have anything nice/good/decent/helpful/contributary to say, don't say anything at all!"

I think it is just unfortunate that the minority of demo racers give the majority a bad name.

Most new S2 racers I see are perfectly polite and just need to learn a bit more to be competitive.

Anyway, we were all demo/noobs once so I dont see why demo racers should even be subject to a poll.

it would help if you told the us what type of card you are trying to use, and if it is one of the cards accepted by the devs.

I would make lots of tarmac and some gravel single stages of road in my local area. Some of the roads around here are brilliant. I think I would try and make a countryside loop as well so that I would have a complete circuit/lap.

Less of a fantasy track, more of a 'what I would do if I had the LFS track editor'

IMO, i think Mercedes are the main problem in the McLaren partnership. How many times has the fastest car on the grid been let down by a blown engine.

What are the possibilities of two master servers operating in parallel?

IMO this is a little like putting all your eggs in one basket. I know its not really a major thing, and is very rare, but it can't be good for business. At least with tandem or parallel master servers you have some sort of safeguard for any bigger power-outs or whatever in the future.

Anyway, just a thought.

Im glad the stewards punished him appropriately, and it seems they had more evidence that we did not have.

The telemetry showed that MS had 'stomped' on the brakes at that turn, rather than the usual pressure applied by himself every other lap. Every half decent racing driver knows that stomping on the brakes is a bad idea as you are going to lock a wheel.

IMO he is caught red handed with his pants down with everyone watching and it all being recorded.

I agree, JPM can be a bit of a pillock and was definately partly responsible for that smash.

However, that is kind of Off-Topic

Quote from Becky Rose :
I wouldn't say he's too good to make that kind of mistake, not dissing him here, but we all make mistakes sometimes and on ocassion they can be really stupid mistakes.

Having said that his accident was just so slow and deliberate, and conveniently resulted in no damage to his car at all.

No doubt he will drive 60 (? guessing) perfect laps tomorrow though.... :sadbanana

From the news (BBC) it sounds as though no action has yet been taken. I would assume that if any action were to be taken it would have been before now, so it looks as though the cheeky git has gotten away with it. Mind you we haven't had a Yes/No confirmation from the stewards yet, so here is hoping.....

It really is a kick in the teeth to the other teams if MS/Ferrari get away with this.
