just watched 3 eps of canaan or how ever ya spell it looks like it will be a good series but i have a feeling the story is going to lack depth and replace it with suspense.

lol australian gun laws are pritty strict as well im currently going though the process of applying for a weapons licence for work *dont ask*

its taken 3 months so far and i expect it to take another 2 months

we have to compleet safty course's and go to the range and your not allowed 2 bullets in the black of a silhouet of a person. and thats out of 36 shots , walking back and forward siting laying 1 knee all at around 15 meters with a glock then 36 with a 357. not to mention the 2 weeks of safty tests befor hand ........

most of the REAL drifters i know hate locked diff's and i agree with them a proper lsd is better for drifting and racing but not everyone wants to spend 2500$ + just on a lsd center so a locker is a good option.


PS i had a 900$ lsd setup in my track car it lasted 1 week and thats with only 330HP at the wheels

IMO even locked diffs in LFS dont exactly feel right the cars way to stable.

i frequent track days in my track/road car and it has a locked diff and i can tell u now lfs lacks the snap over steer i get in my real car, i mean the lack of feeling in lfs would make it harder to catch it not easyer. IRL at 2500-3000 rpm 3rd gear going around a uturn at 65kph close to the limits of four wheel sliding if you even get the boost to 5 vacume thats -5psi boost it will easly snap wiith 245 wide grippy soft road tyres. and you have no chance in hell of holding the power on to hold the slide you have to feather the throttle to keep the car from doing a 180 or geting snap over correction.

now i have messed with LFS and setup a car exactly like mine with settings and lfs tweek it was alot closer then the normal sets but still to easy to drive

lol my clutch dosent feel like its on a switch and ummm it wont change gears without using the clutch if u set it up like me :P

oh ok my friend has got a over heating issue in his capri but its a little differnt

grouted block 520HP windsor 410CI the grouted block was his problem but it goes HARD :P


i used to have a over heating issue with my track car i installed a electric thermo fan 16inch helps heaps can go hard for over 20 laps without going over half on the temp guage.

just make sure its a DAVIS CRAIG thermo on a 70 deg switch if the car is a road car.

mine is track only so its a manual switch.

allso check ur AR if its running to lean it will over heat it very quickly

yer track days are awesome fun i havent been in a while but the biggest thing for me was how differnt drving fast on the streets is compaired to pushing ur limits on a track.

so far im up to around 47 laps at my local track and didnt cost me any $$$$


i will warn anyone first time driving a decent powered RWD rember it will go sideways VERYYYYYYYYY EASY i was able to slide at 2500rpm in 3rd gear around u turns :P
