bore to water line, split the radiator hose and steam poored out from the engine bay and slight steam from exhast
bore to oil line, unstable oil presure black smoke from exhast
and the last one not sure about exactly whats done havent removed the head from that car but it over heats split the ratiator core twice so im guessing its to a water line

so ur friends car was boost spiking what kinda controler was if it was acuator controled was it internaly gated or externaly?
my car used to spike with a old boost controler that was shit it was to slow and would spike 4 psi over thats 18 psi while spining the tyres
both my car and my brothers car (mine RB30ET) (his RB25DET) wont hit full boost in 1st mine cant hit full boost in 2nd his can with 265's but our tq curves are stupidly differnt i got about 300 RWHP 5800 RPM and 550NM of tq 4500 RPM on 14 psi he has about 400 RWHP 6900 RPM and 470 nm of tq 5800 RPM 14 psi. I run a custom boost controler bleed valve, he runs a power FC and AVCR on a HKS-GTRS
it comes down to so many things but im a little scared of a 200sx hitting that boost in first gear (on the limiter?) (nos?)
i dont know what back yard turbo shit box's ur mate drives or works on but in EVERY turbo car i have been in or driven u cant get close to full boost in first at ALL even a pulsar GTI-R running 18 psi 4WD couldnt hit full boost in first only managed around 12 psi with 4 wheels spining.
most turbo cars will achive max boost in 3rd 4th 5th gear (manuals) due to engine load and alot of other things.
tell ur friend to spend a few years driving turbo'ed cars and replacing them tuning ECU's power curves and eletronic boost controlers and then come back and see if he still thinks this
the boost in lfs is alot better now then it used to be
what mod's is this u speak of? my rfactor directory is 4 gig of mods the only mod i like is the skyline one that was customized by me for a more realistic feel
did u read what car he had even lighting it on fire will make it better
best thing to do is take it out urself and u should know what NEEDS to be done after that
my trackday/street car has alot done to it but its not very streetable anymore on legal sized tyres and the locked diff makes things anoying on public roads.
i compleetly dissagree i would prefer a nice kink befor the sector and then a sweeping left during the down hill or even right after so u have to turn in during the down hill part. i think it would make the track ALOT more intresting
the ffb on my old ps2 DFP was ok a little vauge compaired to the G25 but it was and still is a good wheel.
i had a 270 deg wheel and no shifter when i first started playing lfs and i lost ALOT of time going to the H shifter and full degs but now im faster then i used to be and can drift better then i used to :P.
