It looks too sharp and white and bright.

It looked like quite an interesting game from the trailers, compared to most big-studio games that are just re-hashing old tropes from the last 20 years. Is the production quality so bad that it makes it a bad game?

The difference is, they didn't have some old tropes to start the work off, so it took them 7 years to make them and put it together. Same result. Meh.

This game could've been saved by not overhyping it to oblivion, but still then... Ubi would still call it a next-gen game, which this clearly isn't. It demands a super powered PC, but at least in return you get average graphics

Quote from CSU1 :@ OP. My theory is (even though I didn't read your post & Thread is TLDR)

STFU

That's probably the most logical solution of all (not).

Quote from dawesdust_12 :
It's still pay (or grind) to win.

It's grind to win, you got the point finally. You cannot use the champions in free rotation on competitive play though, so it doesn't really affect the ranking system at all (for 2 years now). There are quite some rules which are hard to understand just after reading 3 posts, you just have to take the time and sink into it for a month to get how the system works and realize the facts.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :Your statements contradict each other. If all champions are "free" after 2 weeks, why is there a rotation of "free" champions every week? If all champions become free, then rotation shouldn't need to exist. (Read: http://leagueoflegends.wikia.c ... oints#Champions.27_Prices as more proof that champions do cost money, and that's providing they're on "sale", which means you'd need to wait a long time for all of them to even be on sale to buy for cheaper).

Thus, you have to "buy" champions somehow, be it with $10 per champion, or many many hours. If I started playing League and cared about it (I don't, DOTA is better and more challenging), I'd either lose a bunch and just have to grind through it until I can "buy" newer champions (and better OP runes) simply because people have played/spent more than me.

DOTA doesn't have the requirement to "grind" out games (or pay) to have magical items that make you able to compete against people of your same skill level. You could create a brand new account and be as good (or as bad) as your skill level dictates.

Oh my gosh, I feel like you aren't even reading my posts at all. What I meant was they are on the free rotation 2 weeks after the release, free to try, you can decide if you want to buy it with INGAME CURRENCY, which isn't hard to collect or actual money. I'm still stating facts without mentioning your DOTA, which I actually love, not as much as League, but I quite liked it. It's not grind OR pay, it's like you MUST grind and you decide to pay or not pay and collect ingame currency which can buy you anything that money can buy you, except for skins. What is that link proving? It only proves that you can buy a type of ingame currency which you can spend on champions or skins (and you can't even buy runes with that). And what magical items you are talking about?

So what makes it Pay2Win in your opinion, I request proper facts with logic behind them.

It is not pay2win

Source: I played and still play it for 3 years, my room mates play it aswell and one of them, who never payed a pence to RIOT is playing competitively, making about 350€ each month out of it, as a hobby.

Who the heck wants to compare which game is better? You are talking about how LoL is a Pay2Win game and I stated facts to show that it clearly isn't. Can't even argue with you properly, cause you just throw random bullshit out of context.

Uh, please don't comment on stuff you don't know about properly. Since when do you HAVE TO pay for champs in League of Legends? You can just happily play the game and collect Influence Points which also make it possible to buy champions. You also get 10 every WEEK. All the new champions are free 2 weeks after their release and you know in competitive play you can actually BAN them, if you think they're op. Nobody who isn't as stupid as you to make facts about things you aren't even into thinks it's a pay2win game. You can get to challenger and play competitively without spending a single buck on the game. You can't even buy runes with your money, only the ingame currency which is earnt by playing and it's the core of the game, and everybody uses them. The only stuff that you can't get hold of with ingame currency is skins, which is only just for the looks, DOTA has those aswell. Looks like anything you are bad at you will just call it a pay2win without building any knowledge of the game itself.

Quote from dawesdust_12 :DOTA is the only F2P game I know of where you cannot "buy" skill. League has like 90% of the champions for sale at any given time, and "new" ones are always OP at first so the people who buy them can just get ez wins. HoN is similar.

Everytime I read a comment from you, it just makes you sink deeper into the dirt. You probably don't know anything about LoL aswell, like iRacing. The time spawn between releasing championship became so much that you can savae up the IP for them just playing one game a day, like literally. That's not really what I'd call pay to win.

Your theory about iRacing is still in fact as wrong as it can get, now you are coming with the Pay2Win mark, because you are tired of saying how bad physics are. Who is holding a gun to your head that you must buy the BMW in order to play iRacing? I don't think that happened with anybody. I'm doing a season at the RUF Cup and I do so without buying any additional content compared to Season 1. As someone mentioned, the community is voting or a small-part of the community decides the next season schedule, if nobody wanted the new track on calendar, then it wouldn't be there. You know people just want to race new stuff because they are excited about it, and not because iRacing is holding a gun to their head to throw $15 out of their pocket or they pull the trigger.

Quote from troy :Problem with that is that those "classes" are not very balanced at best and not at all balanced in some cases. You can't just throw the cars together, manually checking RSR times to compare is the only real solution atm.

I agree. It looks like a quick "out of my mind" class list without any real comparision done. Most of them won't really work.

Well, as soon as I entered their website and saw the Wheelbase was in stock finally (they suggested it would be mid-june next time) I just went crazy and ordered everything. Let's see if they ship within the promised 2-3 days.

Wow, I was quite shocked by the answer. I mean 4 inches is quite spacy for that bottom side (the A line). I still have to make up my mind if I have to get that.

I can't disagree with that - since Joonas Koskinen Vires has enormously turned to another direction regards these jokes. Still, I'm not a pussy for loving sprint tracks, because they provide racing. That sounds ideal to me.

I'm not that interested in ruining my desk at all costs to be honest, that's why I'm asking first about the dimensions. I know I could hardmount the thing by drilling holes into my desk but I would leave that option to last.

Thanks for the suggestion though, I'll make a post onto that iR forum too.
Fanatec Table Clamp v2

Hey there folks!

So before I'm buying the CSW altogether with the pedals and the table clamp (?) I would love to ask you about the dimensions of the Table Clamp, because spending worthless 50€ isn't going to help me much if I can't use it and possibly can't even sell it. So here's an explanation picture of what I'm asking for:

I would like to know the length of A and B line exactly, My table's width is 1,5cm so it would be great to know the width of yours aswell to make some calculations and guess how much would stand out of the screws. I thank your effort in advance Hope it's not an impossible request to begin with.

Niki, it's completely up to personal preference. I rather much prefer tracks that are <1 minute, hence why I compete in the RUF Cup in iRacing, because that's where I get short, tight but technical tracks. Not that they are easy, they are just a place for extremely close racing and possible overtakes. It's really up to the preference, and as I prefer those shorties, I will never praise Nords in any way. It's cool and stuff, once in a while. Not something I'd drive all day.

Just limit FPS to like 5 FPS below the used Hz of monitor. Give it a try again, should work.

Ridiculous. I think I would have more intelligent conversations with a metal post.

I was reading this "conversation" in dead silence but that last sentence just threw me off the line

Should I fear getting a bomb from terrorists in my mailbox from now on? Hopefully not. Anyways, Blackwood was converted to rFactor already and it looks kinda pretty, I bet it wouldn't be much to get it into AC from then on.

Indeed, the fault is either the potentiometers or the wires breaking. I was lucky to have both since my first G25. I had wires that somehow were cut in half??? and potentiometers which I just had to clean and I was fine to go. Try cleaning it with electrical cleaning spray.
