Demo seemed pretty good but the controlls to me feel a bit slugish, it's as though you are turning in treacle...

It looks amazing however and Ihave it on preorder so we will see what the final result is like....

At the end of the day, it was the teams first self run event and mistakes can be expected to happen. I'm sure the guys have learned from their errors.

Apart from the mistakes I really enjoyed much of the racing, the majority of drivers I encountered were very well behaved and I hope i appeared that way as well.

Anyhow, not sure about anyone else but i'm knackered after driving that fo8 all day so i'm off to join D.Zanetti for a Stella :P

Well done to everyone who participated.

Unfortunately we had some internet issues just after the hour mark. We were battling for the lead at the time (we were class leaders for half a straight lmao) but then we dropped conection just as we were about to pit. We tried to reconnect over and over but we weren't even able to complete an outlap before being thrown off the server. With no other option, we decided we had to pull the plug. It's typical that a connection that never has any issues suddenly stuffs us over Me Chris and Dan are gutted that we coudn't complete the race, but i suppose these things happen.

Good racing lads .Had a bit of a nightmare time myself, some massive fps issues in quali race 1 & 2, but started last in race 3 and manage to fix it. Pulled myself back to 11th from last so i'm pretty pleased with that.

Hi everyone,

I'm sure some of you guys will have seen us around on track, we are a group of freinds who love nothing more than racing on LFS,. For a while now we have been a 3 man team.

Now however, [W00T] Motorsport are looking for new members, with a possible drive in the upcoming Desire of Patience 24 Hour race. We are a UK team and would preferably invite British drivers, although foreign drivers are very much welcome. We are searching for drivers capable of lapping in the XFR at Aston Grand Touring quickly on an endurance setup, however we race a wide variety of combos and try to be as quick as we can in as many cars as possible!

In case you haven't heard of us, we recently came runners up in the DoP 6h of Westhill in the XFR and 5th (after a disconnect and lots of bad luck! in the 12h) Our current members are...

Isn't writing in ink a pain! Your hand drags through it and makes it look a right mess. Have to stick to bloody biros.

How we ended up 5th I'll never know. Without that disconnect and the 3 wiepouts we would have been right up there, we seemed to be flying in the last 7 hours.

Once again congratulations to O.R.T. See you in the 24 hours :P Still only the two of you?

I was massively disappointed with the standards of overtaking from the GTR's today, our race was ruined so many times through no fault of our own


Did any of you read this?

Smaller car classes than yours are owner of the racing line!
Smaller car classes have to notice blue flag, too!
Careless overtaking endangers other teams, so drive clean and fair!

I'm astounded that drivers of GTR's were under the impression that we should 'jump' out of the way for them today. I think the majority of us were very courteous in letting you guys through, but we are not going to spoil our own races constantly slowing down for you guys. You need to learn to be patient and pass when it's safe to do so.

Early on (i won't mention names) 2 GTR's attempted to go side by side through the final chicane along with two XFR's (pushing one onto the grass). This resulted in a spin and collected a few cars - including ours.

Whilst driving we encounted many problems from impatient GTR's, some just ploughing into the back of us instead of braking.

I also got left hung out to dry a few laps from the end of the race by an impatient gtr (you know who you are) trying to pass in a stupid place, causing me to unfortunately go straight into the back of an FXO team
