Yes mate i just use a motorbike helmet but it has to have the BS6658 sticker on the side (basically the blue one)

There are some special helmets for karting just take a look at

I hope i get my CD 2 licence soon ive been setting times 1 second above the target for about a week now and i dont really enjoy racing at CD1. Trying to start at the back of the grid is allmost impossible at times and ive been knocked off by drivers not respecting the blue flag when leading several times.

I have tried nearly every frontrunners setup and i just cant get back to the 1.08's. The back end seems very unstable through fast turns e.g i could easilly take the uphill chicane flat and now i have to lift off quite a bit just to take the corner. It's so bloody frustrating to watch people i could usally keep up with disappear off into the distance.Other people are definately having the same problems from what i've heard on redline racing.

Anyway, i will keep practicing with the non existent change and hopefully, i will eventually come good

I spent most of my time on LFS driving the FOX and trust me mate it handles differently. I can nearly allways be right at the front of races but since the patch ive been at the front of the middle pack and have had to change my original setup as it's undriveable. As i've said some people find they are driving faster with the new patch while others are stuggling like me. Im sure i will get used to it eventually its just a bit of a change after driving well for so long.

Overall, i like the additions of the new patch but whatever you guys have done to the handling of the FOX in paticular are in my opinion bloody awful.

Here's an example, before patch X i could consistently get 1.08's at BL GP with the FOX, but now im struggling to get a 1.09. I managed to get a low 1.09 last night but the car was stepping out all over the place. IT seems to handle more like a boat than a quick and nimble formula car. After speaking to people on the Redline racing servers i have found that other people are having the same problems getting to grips with the FOX in paticular. The back end feels very slippery and trying to drive as i was before patch x is a near imposibility as the car just spins out.

Well done to everyone that was in the race, i was watching some of the streaming and it looked fantastic fun i just wish i'd entered myself into a team. The guys that did the 24 hours on their own deserve some sort of prize, it's absolutely crazy lol i'm knackered after about 2 hours of driving!

I remember the day i got S2. I went straight onto my Saitek r220! that rotated about 50 degrees on the oval junkies server and crashed the entire field at turn 1!

Probably a silly question but how do you get the texture files into your game?

Do you just copy them over?
