Yeah I thought of this before. It is feasible, it will just will take the admins of the teams to agree on a standard for points, i.e. 10 8 6 5 4 3 2 1 etc...

I can help set this up if you want. You don't even need admin access to eachothers server, just the correct address of the airio sta files

We already have the code for the website, so if you guys would be interested, I could try to display the points pretty quickly from your two servers and see how it works?

I think I am right in saying that the community has NEVER been disappointed in the work that Scawen and Victor do, or the pace they work. The issue I have, as I am sure many others have, is in the incredibly long delays in simple things like interiors and tracks. If I am not mistaken, these are the sole premise of Eric, but also these are things which the community can, and would be willing to help with. I cannot find any justifiable reason why the community couldn't have provided interiors for the GTR class in the last couple of years, without affecting Scawen and the way he wants to code LFS, at all...

Sonicrealms Racing would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

To celebrate we are very proud to launch our new website. This has taken months of hard work by Gerdoner and KayJay (and a little from me) and we hope you enjoy the new site.

As well as a complete graphical makeover, the site has been completely recoded and includes some great new features which we hope you will find useful.

1. PB's, Latest Posts and Upcoming Events have been incorporated into a compact, dynamic scrolling section at the top of the page. This displays a lot more information than before. Either mouse wheel or click the dots to move through the items, or let them move on their own.

2. Ventrillo Status - You will see a small ventrillo status icon on the top line of the site, click this and it will show you who is in our ventrillo channels, as well as links to easily join us.

3. Dynamic news items - Click the read more to expand any long news item, enabling us to show more news than previously possible.

4. Updated Server status - We have updated this section to be more compact and graphical, and it now shows your username as your ingame name. Also you can click the track or car to get LFS information on that particular item. Click the username to get stats on that user. Click the server to join the server, also click the lfs progress and remote icons to view the races as they happen.

5. Updated Team online status - This has also been updated to include lfs progress and remote links to any server, plus we have added country flags which you can also click to view the wiki on that country.

6. Rotating links banner - Above the chat box is a rotating banner which if clicked will take you to various places of interest within the LFS community. We hope to include other teams banners shortly.

7. Updated forum look - We have also updated the forum to fit the new site, we hope you like it.

The site will include many more updates and features in the coming months, but we hope that you enjoy the work that our team have done so far, and finally, have a great 2010!

Team Name: Team Insane Dragons
Server (Y/N): NO (coming December 2009)
If yes server name:
Type:
Race, Cruise, Drag, and Drift
Team info: ={ID}= is a team that is primarily focused on LFS (Live For Speed). We have existed for well over a year. We have four active members. We are looking to get LFS servers and a TeamSpeak 2 or a Ventrilo server for voice in the near future.

In ={ID}= the main thing we are looking for in new members is the ability to have fun. We are competitive but at the end of the day value friendship over score. For this reason absolutely NO team drama is tolerated. This creates a very laid back yet fun atmosphere for our members to play in. Like any other team we value skill in applicants but the main determining factor in acceptance into the team is the relationships you develop with current team members and how well you get along with the veteran team members. We have no age requirements but applicants must have a level of maturity acknowledged by an admin.

REQUIREMENTS

1. XFIRE
2. MICROPHONE WITH VENTRILO
3. FUN PERSONALITY

If you meet these requirements and are interested in joining please post a applaction in our forums.

If you have any questions feel free to xfire me:--->smoketony

Website: http://teaminsanedragon.freephpnuke.org/
Are you willing to accept members immediately or will you test drivers?: We are accepting new applications at our forums.
Demo/S1/S2?: We Accept all three.
Extra Info (teamtag etc): ={ID}= For Staff Members, ={ID.R}= For Racing Members, ={ID.C}= for Cruise Members, ={ID.D}= for Drift Members, ={ID.D²}= for Drag members, & ={ID.T}=, ={ID.Rt}=, ={ID.Ct}=, ={ID.Dt}=, and/or ={ID.D²t}= for Trial members

It does show at least that almost every single lfs user has at least dx9 hardware (hint hint scawen)

At first I was a little disappointed that Scawen was going to allow non-limited setups at all in the next patch, but I suppose he has to consider the drifters etc.. I just hope the racing community embrace the limited setup option properly and all racing hosts use it

My honest opinion, if anyone cares

I like to think I am a decent racer who drives hard but fair...

When I go to ANY public server, it can be incredibly frustrating. We used to run a very similar server to the FM guys, and tbh it was no better. It is impossible to have a normal clean race with a server of 20+ connections full of amateur drivers. FM try their best to keep the complete noobs away at peak times with the pb filter, but it can only do so much...

I have had a break from public racing for a while but had a go the other night and got crashed out 7/8 races through no fault of my own. I was, as you can imagine, massively frustrated and certainly took it out on the next idiot who crashed me out but that wasn't Failure's fault was it?...

But my point is to James, you race enough to know that failure does his best to keep a clean server, and certainly doesn't deserve any insults from you... Why the hell should he take abuse from people using his server when he is paying for it, he is administering it, and also he is racing on it... Give the guy a freaking medal man, not an insult

James, calling Failure names, and saying he is only an oval racer is bs and you know it..

You always seem to get banned from public races, due usually to your aggressive behaviour both on and off the track...

Calm down mate, treat people with respect and you might get some back...

Jonathan, the last thing we want is for you to pull out of MOE, or any of the events you run or help with. I am simply stating my opinion on the fact that a team can get wrongly (IMO) penalised for having the incorrect skin/numberplate/logo for a qualifying session, which then that has a huge impact on the thing that matters, the race.

I first of all urge you to reconsider, and I also ask that all admins of leagues consider the situation the drivers and teams are in. It takes an awful lot of work to prepare for races like this, and the drivers involved have to concentrate and focus on the races, and to find out after you have set a time, that you have lost that time because you had the wrong numberplate etc is just wrong....

All I am saying is try to see this whole thing from a drivers perspective, as that is simply the most important thing....
