When I submited my entry, my e-mail client popped up trying to send it so I'm not sure if thats a glitch or the way you set it up.
Either way, you have an e-mail from me

Currently I'm using Smokin Buds with my iPhone and they work just great.
I found it that the lighter I touch that wall, the worse I end up.
I try to avoid it all together but if I cant, I slam into it with minimal consequences.
Buggy wall indeed.
Anyone with the OP's mindset needs to be perma banned for the master server just to learn a bloody lesson.
Also @ Duck....I like racing against you but are beyond kart dirty. I truly hope that's not the general behaviour of Fusion guys.
IMO, racing to win regardless of cost is the lowest low a LFS racer can fall to.
Majority of time you end up ruining your race, and whats worse, someone elses.
As someone said earlier, if you are fast enough to catch up with me with ease, you better be able to pass clean. Otherwise your "skill" ain't worth poop, IMO.
Bumps happen and sometimes can not be avoided, however any type of intentional rubbing and side swiping needs to be dealt with much harsher then it is now.
Can anyone explain this phenomenon to me though.
From my experience, the harder the car is to drive (LX, RAC for example) the cleaner and better the races are. Are people too confident in the GTR's and TBO's that they take bumping lightly?
I guess theres more then one reason why I love racing LX.
As my Gmail is my only means of receiving personal e-mail, I'm unable to register currently.
Strange to ban Gmail but you must have a legit reason behind it.
I'll look into signing up with yahoo or something as I'd like to have my vote count towards LX's.
Please let me know if any other web mail is banned as well so I know where to look for an account.
Great, thanks for clearing that up.
I was just thinking that such a well organised league/series would benefit from running LX in terms of race quality and skill. (Majority of LX lovers are very good and clean racers that appreciate fighting for control of the vehicle [not to be mistaken with fast ;P )
It would also provide the LX community with a safe and competitive place to race and maybe even spark more interest in the LX class to other racers.
So you have no interest in adding the LX class (LX6 at least)?
I was very serious about my previous post so I'm just making sure it's taken as serious.
I was a mouse racer for a long time and I do have some tips that will make it much more controllable.
First off, map your keyboard to brake and throttle for your left hand. Now map your mouse buttons to shift up/down.
This has a dual purpose.
First it gives you more control and less chances to fumble buttons trying to brake, accelerate and steer.
Second has to do with computer drivers and potential hardware restrictions.
Trying to steer brake and stabilise the car with the mouse at the same time can have response issues between the mouse, drivers and your PC.
By separating the important commands to 2 devices (Kb and Mouse), 2 different sets of drivers take care of only one input at a time...I hope this makes sense.
Another extremely important setting for RWD is Button Control Rate.
In LFS, its set to 4 by default. This is too responsive for powerful RWD cars as the power is either full on or full off.
Lower this to mid to low 2's and hitting the button will smoothly apply throttle in LFS.
This helps greatly in corner outs and braking without locking. Just make sure to brake a tad earlier this way, or you will overshoot the corner.
I agree with this, however I don't believe LX with slicks needs aero as those 2 cars are so well balanced, it's just a beauty.
Slickmod nade me love the LX more then ever before.
I think I'd prefer them without areo, as it still takes skill to drive (something aero can "break" [see gtr on pub]).
LX track (LX6+softer tyres and rollcage+maybe SOME downforce) would do great with the "RAR" as long as both stay out of the GTR class...small or big.
They both would be great track cars that require constant driver attention. This doesn't mean they should be as hard to drive as the current RAC...they just shouldnt be as point and shoot as the big GTR's.
DP1 needs neither class nor competition.....just like the FOX.
Let it be standalone and compete in races with driver skill rather then the "correct" car for a particular track.
BTW, great job OP and traxxion...both look extremly nice.
Sadly none of this will ever make it into LFS unless the Devs turn into completly different people over night.
We've seen some great suggestions and effort over the last few years (car and track that is) and I've yet to see even a response from the devs about them.
As that would essentially create 3 new cars, I think it would be great.
Having the same models as the 3 demo's would be a bit strange but otherwise I like the idea...at least until there is an official addition.
I have a feeling you are planing something along these lines.
As far as I know, it's a ban on the forum and the master server, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
For demo players it usually means they were caught cracking the game. For licenced, it's something bad and/or illegal they have done which resulted in a ban.
While racing HAS changed from back in the day, this was to be expected with the popularity of LFS lately.
There are so many non sim people trying and buying LFS expecting GT4 or the like while not knowing the first thing about vehicle physics and dynamics.
However, every time I'm about to give up on LFS, something like this happens.
The mpr is one of the best races I had in a while...and it was a 1v1 at that.
While it may not look exciting, it was a rush to drive it and kept me on the edge of my seat most of the race. That's the whole beauty of LFS.
(Please don't judge the lap times as I'm quite rusty with the FOX)
P.S. CTRA has only done good things to LFS. IF it wasn't for it, we'd all still be doing GTR on AS...something I wont miss for a very long time.
Ive tried and wasn't able to make it work. It does work in profiler for my DFP so it's all good.
I do believe that there is software that will let you simulate keystrokes though so you might want to look into that.
+1 as this would help new people get to know all the tracks while giving us oldtimers a reason to run a certain combo and maybe even like it.
It could also be turned into an online thing as well without making it a league.
