This track received a lot of complaints and did not draw much interest to be raced in so the 107th RTFR XL turns out to be the least attended since 43rd RTFR XL in summer of 2020. Admitted the layout itself was not very well made,however it was up to needed standards to be used for racing. For many one of drawbacks was the inaccurate proportions of the track - if used to the actual replica,it was difficult to adapt. All of the drivers starting the race had their own share of trouble during the race as noone escaped this challenge without several dents to the car.
In the year when normal RTFR receives many new winners not experienced for years,RTFR XL starts to follow this trend as this race produced the 3rd new race winner in the series,however RTFR XL had 3 new winners each year since 2019 except in 2023 when there was just one. This tuesday it was Cride who joined the RTFR XL winners club as the 35th member - after qualifying 2nd to improve his best result by a single position,he was the main rival for polesitter whole race long. Even if he led just 4 laps,he was around the leader all the time and eventually used his chance to drive by to the victory lane - the race win in 4 positions better result than his previous best achieved 4 weeks ago. Also Thehemuli profited from the late race tyre drama and upgraded his finishing position to 2nd place,repeating his best finishing result and scoring 5th top5 finish in row,12th in total. Being fastest in pure single lap pace can help,but it's deffinitelly not enough - Suforr scored his 3rd pole position and during the race set a new lap record to score also his 1st fastest lap of the race,but overestimated the durability of his tyres,finishing the race with 2 of them being flat in 3rd position,which is a repeat of his only other top5 finish. Jsk was the only one in top5 to finish the race with same set of tyres still in tact and he took 4th position in results,which is his 5th top5 finish. Rony benefited from shorter pitstop than his main rival in race as he changed just 2 tyres and barely kept the 5th position in last few laps to score his 33rd top5 finish,breaking the tie with Unite for 2nd most.

It's not so much fun for the mentioned driver - by adding 42 lead laps from this race,Suforr has collected a total of 67 lead laps through 3 races,that means he is now driver with most lead laps without a race win. Previous leader was TJ with 49 laps led in 4 races who remains tied most led races without a win.

This time it was possible to finish the race without pitwork,but noone tried that,so this mention goes to simply shortest pitstop - 2 tyre renewal insted of 4 resulted in 10.25 seconds pitstop for Rony,which is 0.22s faster than 2nd shortest pitstop featuring just refuelling.

RandomCar 2025 Series final standings
Time flies when you're having fun - seems like it was just half a year ago when people were waiting for the first time to know what they will be racing in the new series,but actually almost 3 years have gone since the first ever race with the concept of RandomCar and this post marks the end of the 3rd season of this league. Just like last season,a total of 44 cars were on the RC's list,however this season all of them were run at least in one race and all of them scored at least 2 points. Unfortunatelly during the season 2 cars needed to be retired from competition as updates made them uncompetitive,so at the end of the year there were 42 active cars.
To confirm the overall trend in LFS,also RandomCar suffered minor attendance loss this season compared to previous 2 - 22.9 drivers per round was 0.9 less than last season,however round 3 repeated 3rd highest round attendandce of RC's history with 32 drivers. 4 drivers attended all 10 rounds,while 12 drivers attended at least 8 rounds - max number or point scores that counts towards championship standings,which was one of 2 new additions this season. The other new addition was a single option in season to redraw the car,which was used 6 times - significantly less than expected,but it seems like many were saving it for later or were affraid to get a "worse" car,eventually letting it expire.
RandomCar 2025 Drivers Champion: ｢ﾏｧ｣ TJ
With experience of a single RC series race before this season,the brazilian driver joined the 2025 season only in round 3,starting the season with 1st of 4 wins he achieved through whole season,tying both single season and all time most wins count in the leagues. Besides the 4 wins TJ finished in top5 in 3 other races,set fastest lap in qualifying in 3 rounds and fastest lap in race 3 times. He was scored 34th in 2023 season stadings,which was a result of the sole previous race before this season.
Thehemuli took over standings lead after round 8,however could not keep it for long,finishing 2nd in season standings - 2 positions better than last season,continuing the trend of improvement between seasons. The 2-time RC race winner was not able to add another win to his achievements this year,however he was consistently finishing in top10 - after removal of 2 worst scores,his worst scored finishing position is 7th. The finn ended the season with 3 straight podium finishes,adding another 2 top5 finishes to results,finishing the season just 13 points behind champion. 3rd position in standings is taken by Twincam,who had rather ups and downs filled season - between 3 podium finishes he has also 2 outside top10 finishes and non attendace,still the win in season finale raised him 2 positions in standings,which is an improvement of 7 positions compared to previous season.
RandomCar 2025 Teams Champions: Born to Race
B2R marks the 1st successful title defence between teams - they started the season rather slow,but eventually picked up more and more points,taking over lead after round 3 and never giving it up. Consistancy was the key to their success as they scored just a single win this season compared to 3 in each of previous 2 seasons,but their drivers finished in top5 for total of 8 times,building out the lead point by point. Also 2nd best team of the season Zafiralis did not had any huge successes,but climbed up the table on consistancy,scoring a total of 6 top5 finishes without race win,including 2 podium finishes in season finale. The finnish based team finished 4th in standings in both previous seasons. The champions of inaugural season and vice champions of past season RGA slipped another position lower on the podium,taking just 3rd this year,where only double points scoring season finale raised them up from 5th in standings. Achievements include only 3rd place and 5th place finishes on both ends of the season.
RandomCar 2025 Nations Champions: Finland
The northern country once again proved to be a dominant force in LFS as they scored 3rd RC Nations championship out of 3. Even remaining winless in races,finnish drivers still scored lots of points from rounds,scoring a total of 9 top5 finishes,2 pole positions and a fastest lap of the race. However the big 126 points gap to closest rivals does not tell the whole story - 76 points of this advantage were scored in the final round,where (now 3-time) vice champions Lithuania did not score a single point - despite nibbling points off the leader's advantage,lithuanians could not find the deciding force to pass leaders and settled for 2nd position in standings for 3rd year in row. Lithuanians gathered up 2 race wins,1 each pole position and fastest lap and a total of 8 top5 finishes. To make the nations podium identical to previous season,Poland successfully defended their 3rd position in standings with a win,a 4th place finish and plenty of good points scores from 2 drivers through the season.
RandomCar 2025 Best Car: XR GT Turbo
The Manufacturers championship has been renamed to "Best Car Award" for this season as with league format it's not entirely correct to call this a proper championship - success is quite relevant how many times and to what drivers cars have been drawn. Still only good performing cars can be on top,this year it deffinitelly was the LFS's home grown XRT,which celebrated it's first RC race win on round 2 of the season,taking over also standings lead - something that was never given up as XRTs took podium positions 4 times this season (half of them in round 2). Acosta Starlin established itself in 2nd position this year by adding 2 race wins to the one scored last year,finishing on each of other podium positions once. Best car in qualifying is RB4,which took pole position 3 times this season matching the overall count in both previous seasons,but the car is known to lose some pace due tyres,which effectivelly demoted them to 3rd position in standings,still scoring each podium spot once.
With sights towards season 4,no changes in format are planned - most likelly it will be 10 race season again with double points scoring 1 hour long season finale to keep up the intrigue until the end. It is yet to be decided if drivers championship will keep the 8 best scores counting towards standings or raised to 9,while despite not being used much,the redraw option will be kept unchanged.
What will change - there will be few polls in our discord server about removal of an unpopular car and addition of new car,so expect to have up to 2 worst cars removed and 1 added. Also car restrictions will receive a bigger update - the performance level is based on LFS own TBO class,from which currently all 3 cars have at least 2% intake restrictor,effectivelly making this a PL191 class instead 200hp/ton. Between seasons all FXO,RB4 and XRT will get a percent of restriction removed and all other cars will be accordingly balanced out (in most cases also losing 1% of restrictor),while the 3 currently unrestricted cars will have to prove their competitivity during next season.
Additionally just like this year,4 weeks before the season opener of 2026,we might host a test race with least used cars and candidate cars. But in the next opening between RTFR races,there is a plan to organize a one off special RandomCar race - stay tuned for more info.
Just for more information - XRR was used in april in the century race (6 races with different cars between) and current ruling locks out a car for next 5 races (raised value as last year only 4 races lock out was there). With so many cars now available I think we could raise the lock out to 6 for next year already.

VERL 2025 final standings
After dissapointing last few seasons we dared one more try with an updated car which supposed to be easier to race with decreased engine power,yet giving certain degree of challenge,but we can describe this as an unsuccessful try - this season goes into VERL history with lowest competition through 11 years of existance of this league. With 9 drivers requirement to run a full distance in a round,this season festured only reduced distance races as highest attended rounds were 1 and 2 with 7 drivers in qualifying,losing one driver before the race. 16 signups are 3 less than lowest ever number registered last season,actual participants were just 10 - that's 5 less than last season and just over 1/3 of all time average. With 6 drivers per round,the all time lowest number was undercut by 2.5,only lowest record that was not beaten was the lowest attendance in a single round - 4 racers in season finale was just a repeat of all time lowest attendance. This also impacted competition - even if season opener in Blackwood featured top3 drivers finishing within 5 seconds,both other rounds winner was barely challenged.
VERL 2025 Drivers Champion: RGˆRony
The league creator of course has the highest experience in it as he was there from beginning without missing a single race,scoring a total of 4 season standings podium finishes,being vice-champion on the inaugural VERL season and 3rd in 3 of last 5 seasons. This season did not feature a single previous champion in signups list,giving the organizer a chance to step up. The latvian veteran finished 3rd in season opener and scored all possible points in remaining 2 rounds,securing the 1st VERL champions title with 9 points gap (1/3 of total points count). In all time stats he exceeded 50 started races mark,trippled his wins and pole positions count to 3,added his first 2 fastest laps of the race and increased top5 finishes total to 28.
Madjester never saw his name in any other row than 2nd in season standings - he finished 2nd in season opener which is his best VERL race result,but finished other 2 races a position lower than previous one,which added 3 top5 finishes to the 2 from his rookie season 2 years ago,scoring also his 1st fastest lap of the race in round 1. The teammate of the defending champion LG-mies was the 3rd driver to race in all 3 rounds this season,which goes into his stats as best VERL season from the 4 he attended - the 3rd position in final standings is 4 positions better than 2023 season achievement and 7 positions better than last season's result. The 2nd position in the middle round of this season is 2 positions better than his best VERL race finish achieved last season and also he added 3 top5 finishes to reach a total of 5.
VERL 2025 Rookie of the Year: - (not awarded)
According to rules,the award is presented if at least 2 drivers with rookie status finishes at least one race - just like last season,this condition was not met as only 1 rookie finished a race as the other 2 attending rookies just qualified but never started,with that preserving their rookie status. Owen was the only candidate for the award as he qualified 2nd for season opener,however lost 2 positions during the race to finish 4th,never attending rest of the rounds,finishing 6th in overall standings.
VERL 2025 Teams Champions: Race Green Autosports
RGA was actually the only team with more than 1 driver,but drivers champion's team would take the championship also without help as it finished the standings with almost double points count over closest rival. This is the 3rd teams championship for RGA,which was just 2nd last season.
Also rest of the teams standings order is in same order as their drivers - 2nd best team is SGR,2 positions better than their 2023 achievement,3rd in standings is Zafiralis,repeating their result of past season but also scoring 4th overall podium result.
VERL 2025 Nations Cup winners: Latvia
Despite reigning 9-time champions being represented by 2 drivers unlike most,the streak was ended by Latvia. The nation represented only by the new drivers champion took over lead in standings only after final round by just 2 points.
For the first time in 6 years,Finland was not the top nation,repeating the result of their only other non-championship season of 2019 (won by Poland). 3rd this season is Portugal which repeated it's 2016 result.
If there were plenty of question marks over future of this league after previous season,there are much more of them after this season. Only thing what is clear that the new car deffinitelly was not able to draw interest - a car based on 90ies US single seater seems to be unatractive for drivers in age where modern F1 or Hypercar/GT3 series seem to be the biggest crowd pleasers. This means that the FoRGE VERL 2022 can be retired from it's duties - the car will receive one last update to give back it's original 650 horsepower 2.6 liter V8 engine and probably will slip down into mods list. If there will be any other races under VERL name is yet to be decided - end of the summer of 2026 will be the time of any new plan announcements.

Due lack of activity in laptime testing in past for the custom combos,it has been decided to give an estimated lapcount in information. The actual lapcount will be announced after qualifying as it will be calculated using fastest laptime in qualifying (same rule as always - minumum lapcount to exceed 75 minutes).

Pitting rules:
Race requires a minimum time spent in pitstall of 10 seconds. That can be done either with single pitstop or sum of multiple pitstops. Driver who has spent less time will receive penalty time added to his finish time,which will be calculated by tripling the missing time to complete neccesary minimum time and adding additional 5 seconds. Drivers failing to pit at all will receive 1 minute penalty added to finish time (10s*3 + additional 30s).

Some might call this an odd combo,however racing MRT in any of South City's shorter tracks can be considered as LFS classic from the old S1 times,when the small formula student vehicle was the fastest car in the sim. And fast paced was also this race - as you can see on broadcast,cars were flashing through turns quite quickly,however the grip of slicks was often misleading - over the bumps the tiny car tended to lose grip if driver was not careful enough. Coincidentally the 26 drivers in qualifying and 25 on grid was an exact repeat of numbers in previous RTFR race with the MRT,however the high atrition rate made this to be race with 2nd lowest finishing percentage when running MRT.
With his 46th pole position,this threatened to be yet another Gábor show,however after leading the first 10 laps,the hungarian could not avoid incident ahead and involved himself in it,eventually resulting in retirement. The lead was taken over by Naluyluka,who was the 2nd fastest driver in qualifying (new personal best by 2 positions) - the LFSW nutter rank leader led the remaning 39 laps to achieve planty of firsts. It was not only his 1st top5 finish,but also for all argentinian drivers,while he is also the 6th new race winner this year - 2017 is latest year with 6 or more new race winners in RTFR (last year did not have any new winners at all). Unite with his shoe-car tried to chase the race leader,however could not get close enough to challenge him and had to settle for 2nd place finish,which is his 101st top5 finish. Ivάn was the 3rd fastest driver in the race,which is a repeat of his best RTFR finishing result and 3rd top5 finish. The most intense battle in late stage of the race was for 4th position,won by RD2 - the 4th place finish is 1 position lower than his only previous top5 finish,after few ups and dows,Thehemuli closed the top5 for the 3rd time in row,scoring his 24 total top5 finish. One achievement has not been mentioned yet - fastest lap of the race was done by someone finishing outside top5 - after the need of repairs,Suforr returned to racing with high speed chase,setting the fastest lap of the race,which is his 2nd such achievement.

Stop complaining,then limit is now 6 times bigger compared to times when I started in LFS - back then there were just 500 objects available and concrete objects not even planned. Layout editor has been improved significantly since then,even if I don't oppose raising the layout objects count,there are few higher priorities in updates than this.
Japanese cars sold in Japan by default were limited to 180km/h therefor there was no use of speedos that show more than that. I'm sure mod creator just made it realistic.

The server has been set up with helping insim app (provided by Jam) which allows to turn the car back on wheels or turn if stuck with nose against wall (reminder - MRT has no reverse gear) - this will be allowed as it is realistic to climb out of this type of vehicle and turn it back on wheels or push backwards.
To use this option,you have to type in chat:
;flip - car is turned back on wheels without changing direction
;turn - car is turned 90° leftwards
Note that vehicle must be stationary (no movement) and action happens with 3 seconds delay after command has been typed!

Official results
After couple high speed races including all time fastest race 4 weeks ago,this race went into RC history as the all time slowest race,for the first time clocking the average speed under 100km/h. Just like in previous season,also this year the season finale gathered the lowest attendance of the season,meaning that once again many drivers did not take their chance to score a noticable amount of points for the standings.
1 week after scoring his 1st pole position in RTFR,Suforr scored also his first in RandomCar and that on his league debut,being the best of 2 RB4 drivers. However the spaniard did not pay enough attention to event info,completing what he thought being a mandatory pitstop and retiring when realising noone else plans to pit. After being in chasing position for more than half of the race,Twincam used the benefit of his lightweight Acosta Starlin,taking over the lead and pulling a decisive 9 second gap when crossing the finish line,scoring his 1st RandomCar race win and 3rd overall win for the car. With the same car as the polesitter,Motimoukari took over race lead on lap 1 and kept it for total of 22 laps,but could not keep up the pace and settled for 2nd place finish,which is his best ever result in the series. The podium was completed by another Zafiralis driver Thehemuli,who took podium position for the 3rd time in row,scoring the best finishing position for the Dorito FD7.

22 different cars were drawn for this round for the eligible 32 drivers,but only 12 cars of those were actually used between the 14 drivers. For 2nd round in row,the most drawn car was RB4,this time being drawn 4 times,however only half of them were used (both qualified on front row). Acosta Starlin keeps it's lead as most drawn car,with 1 draw for this round it pulls by 1 away from Talot. 2 drivers also reached all time most draws of same car - Jam received the XM-5 and M@CI3K the Raceabout for the 4th time,so after 3 seasons noone still has drawn same time for 5 times.
Just 2 drivers improved the best results for any car - Thehemuli's 3rd position with Dorito FD7 is 4 positions better than Loco's best finishing result with the car,while Madjester's 3rd position in qualifying is 5 positions better than previous best result with the Adda Ar-eight,achieven by both Twincam and Thehemuli,the 6th position in race results however is just a repetition of Twincam's result,but the portugese driver scored the 1st fastest lap of the race for the car. Suforr scored already the 7th pole position for RB4 and it was the 2nd pole position for the car in row - that's 2nd pole positions streak for RB4,which is still the only car with a streak.
With this the 3rd season of RandomCar is over and only full season recap is left,however it's already known where the next season opening round will take place - the South City's Town Course will be used for the first time in RC,run in reversed direction for round 1 of 2026.

The 3rd and final round of this short season was even less attended - just the late joiner rescued this round getting in history books as the new least attended round,putting it in those as repeated least attended. 3 drivers qualified and took place on grid while 4th driver missed the start,but used the chance to join as he is part of standings top10 drivers to pick up important points for standings.
Without much of competition,the series creator took over the charge in race for the win again,this time leading every single meter of the halved race distance to score his 3rd VERL race win. After repeating his best qualifying result,Lorenzo kept chasing the race leader in early part of the race,however could not keep up later and finished 16 seconds behind race winner as runner up,scoring his best VERL finish from the 4 seasons he participated in. LG-mies finished 3rd to score his 2nd podium finish in row,5th top5 finish in total.

Car redraw option:
Each driver receives one chance during the season to redraw the car that has been drawn. This option can be used only if car has been drawn during 1st wave of cars draw and the driver will be added to list of 2nd wave of cars draw. Please note that redrawing car means a 2.4% chance of drawing the same car also with 2nd try - in that case the driver has to use the drawn car and the redraw option will be reactivated for new use in future round. Option availability is marked in Drivers championship tab in spreadsheets right behind driver's name (✓ = available,x = not available). To use the option,write here a post with word "Redraw" before signups closure for round (16:30UTC)!

The 369th RTFR was actually a first ever - for the first time this event series run a race in Fern Bay Rallycross track in reversed direction. Having a new car in RTFR is nothing new anymore since addition of car mods,this time it was the Prodigy AWD,a rather simple 4-door sedan without much power. And yet tyres were reaching temperatures higher than heat on the island of Jamaica,which had a very direct impact on results as some could not handle the heat. 23 drivers qualifying for the race is rather on the low end of latest attendance statistics,however it's still 3 more than highest ever attendance between all races in different Fern Bay rallycross tracks.
TimDC did not had any notable results in past in RTFR (in 12 qualifyings his best result was 10th position,from 2 finishes - 11th place finish),however with his rallycross background he jumped into foreground of this race for the battle of race win. He qualified 3rd (1 position better than previous best result for all belgian drivers),took main chaser's position when early leader lost pace and led his first ever RTFR lap right in the middle of the race. Even if he lost lead for 4 laps,eventually he regained top position and run away from competition in last 8 laps to finish with 10 seconds gap over competition to enter himself in RTFR Winners club as 84th driver,5th new one this year,scoring also 1st ever podium finish for Belgium. The 2 time RTFR XL polesitter Suforr scored his and also Spain's 1st one in normal RTFR as he was the only one to beat 1:22 laptime mark,but after leading 9 laps,he could not handle the tires and dropped down a position,barely saving his 2nd place to score his 10th top5 finish. One of the 5 new race winners of this year took the bottom step on the podium - Adam finished 0.3s behind 2nd position despite the trouble during the race,also scoring his 10th top5 finish. Michal escaped last turn incident to finish 4th,which is his 18th top5 finish,Thehemuli profited most from the last turn incident as he jumped 2 positions to finish 5th for 2nd race in row - with 23 top5 finishes he has most between all top5 finishers of the day. Another driver who needs to be mentioned is the one who led first 6 laps,but not for that even if these were his first lead laps in RTFR - Kyril snatched the fastest lap of the race on lap 5,which is also his 1st ever.

Next week server will be loaned out to RandomCar series - just one last round remains in the 3rd season of RC,which as always is the 1 hour long double points season finale,run in custom configuration in Blackwood,previously seen in the very first Zafiralis' ARC series race. In 2 weeks time normal RTFR will return with another all time 1st,running a tricky car on sprint track,more infos can be picked up if watching stream recording above. In 3 weeks RTFR XL will take place in custom racetrack,which is based on Hockenheimring,which will host the 1st return of anniversary car XRR.

Having the season just 3 rounds long means it's like snapping the fingers and we're already at season finale! It will be run in the longest and fastest racetrack of the season - in Kyoto's National configuration,where reversed direction means that oval part will be run in correct direction. Since the track consists of over 2 kilometers of full throttle oval section and under 3 kilometers of twisty infield section,it's quite important to find the correct balance between straight line speed and good handling in turns.
In theory new joiner to series could still take championship,however that would require the one to take all points from full distance race and current standings leader not even attending. So realistically only top4 can be still considered as realistic candidates in full distance race,if the race is halved once again,it's probably a duel between top2 of standings. Similar situation with different number of candidates is in both teams and nations standings,while rookie standings still needs to be activated with 2nd rookie finishing a race.

I have 2 improvement suggestions for this mod:
1. After race there were complaints about hitbox as some had weird side by side contacts - it obviously is significantly wider than actual car.
2. The other suggestion is about number plate - seems like letters that go lower than most (qypg) get cut on lower side,so for example my "Rony" looks more like "Ronv".
Regarding skin template I have suggestion for future mods,not worth to change for this one - most of the car is kept in same scale and without stretching,which is good idea in my opinion,however there are few small front and rear parts that are bigger,I would suggest to avoid that. Also would be better to have some mask seperation between parts - in this case top part of trunk is very close to top part of rear bumper,which makes skinning a bit more difficult if these parts need to be in different colors.

What LFS has is actually a better revlimiter - pretty much a perfect one. Admin,you just want that ratatata because it's "cool" and not because it's better.
