* PENALTIES :
Jaroslav Dohnalík - receives a DISQUALIFICATION from Semifinal onwards for intentional slowing down.
B2マ LITRO - receives a DISQUALIFICATION from Bonus Run for causing false start to 2 other competitors.

The server connection limit raise resulted in record breaking attendance on previous event, this time we were more prepered despite another new attendance record - 66 is the number of participants in the 2024 event edition, which is 4 more than the record set one year ago. However for 2nd year in row there was a need for disqualification - on last semifinal run a certain experienced participant decided to breach one of just 4 rules and with this influenced heavily result of otherwise fair battle between other drivers.
Pace was once again important for results, however the event winner was this time quite an exemption as he qualfied 37th,but had to race against 5 top10 qualifyers in the final. Top20 qualifyers this year were directly in the quarter final, however for 40% of them that was the final stop.
Only 2 champions were able to reach semifinal, however both of them could not qualify for final,so even before the 20 laps long decision it was clear there will be a new champion - the 12th different one! The final itself was rather less interesting for the spectators as there were not too much proper physical battles and the winner led all 20 laps and even catching the backmarkers did not cause any threats as one of them was playing bodyguard role to help Thehemuli become the 1st ever finnish winner of This is Crashmaaas !!! event. The most recent V8 Racing League champion added another achievement to his most successful year in simracing - he qualified in the low 37th position, but finished solidly in 2nd position in his preliminary run behind a countryman to advance to quarterfinal. The quarterfinal wasn't successful and Thehemuli had to qualify for semifinal via relegation run, where finishing 2nd in thrilling final lap was enough. The semifinal went much better again as he finished 2nd in it,clinching his grid spot on 2nd row of the final, which was rather clean and filled with some minor contacts early on and the finn set just 9th fastest lap of the final heat during his nervous run to win.
Being fast always has been helpful in Crashmas, however not always it was deciding skill - the event rookie Suforr set the fastest laptime in qualifying, securing 1st grid position for most runs, but after convincing win in his quarterfinal heat,he wasn't as lucky in semifinal,so he had to qualify for final through last chance run, where he finished 3rd. In final the spaniard was even relegated to last position early on,however he used his pace to climb up the order to finish 2nd,repeating also the fastest lap of the whole event (first set by Tikvosha in QF relegation run). L.Rydh took the final step on the podium - the swede was also between top3 qualifyers and won his quartefinal and semifinal heats, putting himself also on front row of final, but then his luck ended as he had to work hard in few battles to at least finish 3rd.
2nd edition of Battle Royale ended up very similar to the 1st edition - with common efforts the only 2 time champion was promoted out of track and the brand new champion cruised for 2/3 of the race to finish line. Despite 5 attending previous champions in main event part, the champions race featured just 3 of them (from which one was spectated for false start),the new champion and the commentator coming back from his retirement.
The biggest chaos race of Bonus run this time received a snowflake themed grid on which only 32 drivers were standing, leaving 20% of the grid free. Despite small reduction of layout objects compared to few previous years, somehow this ended in more retirements than usually as only 6 cars finished the race, half on lead lap,one driver after incidentally being returned into race after a roll. Even with this low number of finishers,it was an intrigue until the last meters of the race - the leader of 2 penultimate laps rolled on the final turn, giving up race lead to the leader of all other 18 laps Mouseman, who crossed the finish line with very damaged car.
The updated format of the event created more heats - a total of 23 of them were run (including Battle Royale and Bonus),however in fear for over extention of the whole event it was decided to reduce lapcount of everything before semifinal - this saved us few minutes, but still it was 4 hours long event,if amount of participants does not shrink, such event length without big changes in format is unavoidable. Only change for next edition should be reducing direct qualifyers count to 18 (each quarterfinal would feature equal amount of qualifyers),other than that we have to leave preliminary run format as flexible as possible.
Next 26th december will fall on friday,so the 15th edition of the event will be on friday the 13[*2]th for extra unlucky mishaps and breaks. And yet we will be searching for the 13th different winner or if most are unlucky - 3rd 2-time winner or 1st 3-time winner. Until then there are 11 and a half months to store your energy, practice your skills an stock up your XRGs to be destroyed in next This is Crashmaaas !!! - the Xmas derby event. And even if such requests in past were not heard - how about winners speach?
Sunday, 5th January
17:30 UTC / 18:30 CET / 19:30 EET
2 weeks after the slowest Blackwood rallycross race,AWS racers will tackle South City's streets with the most powerful car in this league's history, and that without the assistance of grippy slick tyres or high aerodynamic downforce. That's because the Adda AR-Eight is a street legal car with proper equipement, however the modern car has it's modern features like ABS and paddle shifter controlled gearbox. This surely will be a race of focus - the car reaches high speeds quickly and does not leave much room for errors,so small mistakes can end up with damaged car and lengthy repairs in pitstop.
10 drivers started the season in round 1,one of them was also the defending champion who wasn't performing at his standards yet. With 5 more rounds ahead, nothing is decided,so even a fresh entry to series can still mix into battle for all the awards and put his name in the racwinners list below or even add another year to name already in the list.
Please note the different starting time of the round (1 hour earlier) compared to round 1!
The new year has started and in same day the year number has changed,we'll ready to announce the plans for RTFR in the 2025 - it will again consist of 3 seasons,2 of RTFR on each half of the year and one for RTFR XL lasting whole year long. The best through these scored seasons again receive money prizes, once again kindly sponsored by World Class Lions team. Full details can be found in Sponsorship document.
For season standings the same points system will be used as in the evergoing rating system - for full details hower mousepointer over rating sheet's green colored title bar, here are the links to both spreadsheets: RTFR and RTFR XL.
Some key information points:
* Just like in past 3 years, also this year RTFR will be divided into 2 seasons - first of those will start right on the coming tuesday, the 7th january and will last for 12 rounds until 10th june, then RTFR will have 3 off-season events which will be simply just for fun and single race winning glory. Season 2 this year will be just 10 rounds long, starting on 5th august and ending on 9th december, while the year will end with another standings free event on 23rd december. During the seasons we will keep as before a 50/50 ratio between LFS original cars and user created content, mostly using mods with approved status, however in off-season races we might try something more unusual.
* After experimental prizing system last year, this RTFR XL season will return to scoring system of 2022-2023 - from the 12 rounds during the scored season, only best 10 scores will count towards standings, meaning a failure or two won't affect overall result. As always the winner will have the honor of selecting combo for next race - these selections are limited to 2 per calendar year and once someone has selected a combo, the lockout of selection ends only with end of winning streak (no back to back selections possible). Couple of minor changes in selection - car will be now locked out for 5 races (before it was 4) and track environment will be locked out for 2 races (only 1 before).
* Points system stays the same - each event has it's own system, both however are very similar. RTFR keeps the base of 20 points for winner based on 20 (or less) starters, where each 3 starters more than 20 adds 1 point to winner's gain. RTFR XL has additional attendance based base score increasement, which 2022 reached the same 20 points for winner - if 5 races in row have more or less attendees in race than current base score,it get's increased or decreased by 1. Not affecting the yearly standings which leads to money prizes is the ever going rating, which puts up on top of the table most successful racers in last 15 races in RTFR and last 12 races in RTFR XL. In both of those ratings the latest 2/3 of races count fully, but the oldest 1/3 of scores are halved.
Both events have been entered into lfs.net racing calendar, where the combos will be updated as soon as possible - the currently set "XFG at BL1" is simply a placeholder. Info about each event will be posted in this forum subsection as it was always done previously in the information threads.
For past 4 years RTFR and RTFR XL were honored by having a great promotion through livestream by the best broadcasting company around LFS - Sim Broadcasts. With sponsors support, the broadcasting will continue also for 2025,giving a great chance for people not in race to follow the action live and to racers in the race - relive the action from the spectators view. SB.tv will broadcast by availability all races that are part of standings, taking a break in summer when the non-championship race will be held.
Additionally you can visit SimBroadcasts.tv for their full streaming schedule and contact details,or their lfs.net forum thread for local updates.
Easiest way probably would be using simple autocross start point (add split and finish line so time is counted) somewhere in layout square,do an acceleration test run by starting right at green light and save replay - when slowing down replay and pausing at correct time points, you can check the time at specific speed.
It's nice you're going the scientific way with all the calculations and I'm not gonna check them because mathematics in such degree is not my strong point, however the result is this (stock setup, with some tweaks could go few km/h more):
That's speed a 200hp road car with full body could reach only with 100km/h+ tailwind or when thrown off plane.
Not sure how good are the calculations in this field by LFS code, but seems currently best way to be closer to realism is to "cut some corners" and go for some golden middle road that results closer to real life performance.
I noticed this car has aero drag of 506N @ 40m/s which results of theoretical top speed of 267km/h (speed without taking tyre roll resistance into account),which is way too high for car with just over 200hp. Data sheets in internet talk about top speed of ~235km/h for the real car,so I would suggest increase aero drag until it's around 240km/h in downforce menu to make it more realistic.
66 is the number of participants in this year's edition, setting another attendance record - and that does not include few drivers who joined only for the last 2 runs... And there's another new champion! If you want to see everything in LFS client, replays are attached to this post.
If someone does not have enough, the Bonus Run layout is still set in the server with 10 laps and all cars unlocked,so feel free to join the server!
Server is now password protected, password is in 1st post right under the section everyone should be familiar with - rules!
Please DO NOT post server info in random places without leading info to this thread - otherwise too many people join who have absolutely no clue what's this event is about and what is it's format! (and leave after setting qualifying time, thus leaving blank spots in the heats)
With introduction of mods the palette of cars in LFS has been increased highly, with this we can now select cars that don't burn it's tyres during the rallycross race - this was the case yesterday with the new to series Prodigy AWD car. Slow speeds mean less mistakes and with it less pace difference - that created other set of difficulties as drivers happening to be behind a bit slower driver struggled to overtake him,but eventually everyone found way past and the field spread out according to race pace, except for the leading duo, which finished less than half of a second apart.
Despite the close finish, the 3-time AWS vice champion Dzidoris kept his leading position just slightly stressed as he led every single lap of the race - with this round the lithuanian scored his 9th pole position and 9th race win in AWS (both all time 2nd most),taking also the bonus point for fastest lap of the race. During the race he was closelly chased by his teammate Falcon, who repeated his best AWS race result - 2nd place finish. To make the clean podium sweep,3rd place was taken by Rony, who profited on his teammate's network failure just before starting last lap.
4 points is the advantage in standings for the race winner after 1st round - the order of table as usually is the same as race results after just 1 round done. 3rd place is 2 points off 2nd place.
Same situation is in Cross Challenge standings - 2 more races to go for this award with season finale being also part of the award decision. Currently best rookie is Cyk,who finished 8th in the race, however this award is currently on hold as there is a requirement of at least 2 rookies finishing the race - the 2nd rookie participating in season opener retired very early.
Good setup engineering probably was the key of the success of defending champions taking all the glory in round 1 - RGA has already 22 points lead after 1st round over closest rivals Zafiralis, followed by Yes Motorsports by a single point - both of the teams have just a single driver in their lineup. Lithuania leads the nations cup standings by 10 points over defending 3-time champions Finland,Canada is 3rd another 3 points behind.
Round 2 is probably the most difficult round of this season's schedule - a powerful supercar with fully road legal setup is set to be raced in one of the toughest configurations of South City. The Adda with a V10 engine will be the most powerful car in AWS history, however unlike all other high powered cars used in the league,it does not have neither slick tyres or great aerodynamic assistance. This race will be a proper test to driver's skills and patience - good practice is not an option for success,it will be needed!
Yesterday we run this car in AWS 2025 round 1 and it worked out just like imagined - close bumper to bumper (and occasionally even door to door) racing, and unlike with most powerful AWD cars, this wasn't one of the typical LFS rallycross tyre burning races.
When making a skin,I encountered 3 issues which probably should be adressed to achieve highest mod quality:
1. The car's top part (roof, bonnet and trunk) of skin mapping is flipped.
2. Rims are transparent when looking from inside.
3. Part of the front is transparent when looking from underside, probably need to add few well placed triangles to block it.
Besides that the inside of arches seem to be very basic and front wheels at max lock will go through, but that's a minor issue. Other than that the model seems to be good quality and with bigger support might be a candidate for approved mod status in my opinion.
Actually the problems with skin upload occoured many hours before bigger website probelms. Also it seems like even if the skin upload page displayed the error, the skin was actually uploaded - it was loaded for other users in server.
As title says - I encountered a problem of skins upload, getting [skinname]: HTTP error : 0 : undefined when I try. I updated my browser, tried 3 different networks with 3 different service providers to rule out problem at my side and eventually other user from discord tried and had the same error.
Simple calculation: 96/12=8 - that is the amount of years where RTFR's extra large version is running and it's the 6th year where we have yearly competition to determine the best driver of the year in the specific series. But as always first info is statistics about the year and comparision with previous one - 78 is the amount of drivers who have participated in at least one race and completed at least half a distance of it (several more attempted, but this statistic isn't being tracked),which is just 1 less than last year. Some of them were new,so the total amount of racers ever participated in RTFR XL exceeded 400 after the last race of the year. Average of 24.9 drivers in round is 1.3 less than last year, however the highest attendance of 36 is one more than last year's best number - this year the Protech GT3 car in Westhill was the most interesting to racers, while least attendance of 20 happened 3 times during the season, featuring both LFS's BMW formulas and a mod based on LFS own original car. The standings shows a trend of consistant finishing over top position results - both multiple race winners finished outside top4 of standings, all 3 single race winners - outside best 17. Only 3 drivers scored points in all 12 races,2 of them are in the top3 of standings.
RTFR XL 2024 standings winner: S1DUS*uNite
The finn who wasn't even in top10 in last season's standings, did not take part in season opener, however he attended remaining 11 races and slowly climbed up the standings, reaching top position after september's race and kept it until end of the season to score his 1st glory of RTFR XL after being on both other podium positions once in previous years. Unite finished in top5 in 7 races with best result being 2nd place finish, achieved twice, while he also clocked the fastest lap of the race once.
Thehemuli was 6th and 5th in the previous 2 seasons and he kept his trend of progress alive, finishing 2nd in his 4th season. He finished 3rd in one race and finished in top5 other 3 races - 4 times more top5 finishes than in all previous seasons. The organizer himself has been finishing in top4 in all previous seasons and this was not different - once again 3rd position is taken by man in green (for the 3rd time overall),who's best race finishing result was also 3rd position in season opener adding another top5 finish later in season.
After mentioning the best 3 overall of the season, now let's mention all race winners - the all time most successful driver (reached this position this year) Gábor won 5 races, scored pole pole position in each of those and additionally in another one he did not start, ending up 5th in standings. The driver with single letter "M" in his name finished 5th in season opener, repeated the all time highest winning streak of 4 wins in next races, but never attended after that, giving up huge points lead and slipping down to 7th in standings. And the 3 other winners are Zesty, who won the season opener,Mandula who was fastest with Radix in Blackwood carrying on hungarian winning streak and Rex,who won the FBM race in South City.
One week after the RTFR XL also the shorter version ended it's scored standings season - the 9th overall season. Just like season 1,it also featured 12 races, where a total of 76 drivers marked themselves as points scorers in standings (5 less than in 2024 season 1). The average attendance also here dropped a little compared to previous season - 28.4 drivers per round is 3.3 drivers less than in first half of the year, however 2.2 more than in season 2 of last year. Highest attended race was the N.400 GT4 race in Westhill, which gathered up 37 drivers, while the least interesting was XFR race in a custom Fern Bay track. Unlike in XL version, here 3 of 5 race winners finished in top3 positions in standings.
RTFR 2024 Season 2 standings winner: A.Valta
Also RTFR 2024 S2 seasons standings is topped by a finnish driver, but a different one - A.Valta did not even attend a single race of 1st season of the year, but attended 10 races of the 2nd season, winning 4 of them and finishing 2nd in another 4,adding 4th place and 7th place finishes to the total count, taking also 4 pole positions and 5 fastest laps of the race - all that was enough to secure the award before final race, which is the 2nd one he did not attend during the season. His previous best result in standings was 2023 season 1,where he was in 4th position.
The 4-time season standings winner and all time most successful racer (achieved also during this season) Gábor finished 2nd in this season, unable to really challenge season's best driver despite 3 race wins and 6 runner up positions - the hungarian was on pole position in half of the races, setting fastest lap in one third of the races. It's still an improvement compared to 6th position in 2024 season 1 standings. The RTFR XL newest champion Unite took 3rd place in normal RTFR's latest standings. He won just the last race of the season, but scored 4 third place finishes and 4 lower top5 finishes, adding a fastest lap of the race to repeat 2024 season 1 standings result, scoring his 6th RTFR standings podium.
TJ won 3 races of the season and finished 3rd in another 2,but did not attend any other round, ending up 8th in standings, while other driver who added himself to race winners list was defending 2nd place in standings R.Kardol, who attended just 3 races in the season.
With this the year of 2024 in RTFR is officially concluded as the remaining 2 tuesdays of the year are holidays,so we will take a break during those. The next year is in our thoughts already - 1st normal RTFR of 2025 (the 349th) will take place on 7th january, while RTFR XL will start it's year 3 weeks later with 97th RTFR XL. It's still to be decided how the scored seasons will shape up,expect any announcements to be made at latest early in the new year!
Sunday, 22nd December
18:30 UTC / 19:30 CET / 20:30 EET
The 14th season of AWS starts with a race with the slowest car that has ever been racing in Blackwood within All-wheel-drive Winter Series - a 103 horsepower small sedan named Prodigy AWD,which is lapping the 1.8km rallycross track in around 1 minute and 12 seconds depending on driver's skill. Rallycross races usually have been plagued with overheating tyres,so the organization has been searching for solutions, one of those is to bring engine power down,so with this car it will be pretty much normal racing partially running on slippery surface. Taking care about resources is still important - with an unknown car, best drivers will be those who can adapt quickly!
In the early phase before start of series, the signups list is quite short, but still features all 3 best racers of previous season, together with some well experienced racers and couple rookies this season already has a potential to become interesting in terms of competition for all awards.
The last RTFR race of the year featured the highest race laps count of the 2024 season 2 - the South City's Sprint 1 configuration is short enough to be lapped 38 times within 32 minutes as top half drivers clocked their best laptimes under 50 seconds. The selected car gave the good old touring car impression, however technically built based on JGTC300 specs - 300 hp engine, just over a ton weight and rather simple aerodynamics. Interestingly the field was split with tyre choice as some opted for softer R2,some for harder R3 tyres, while some mixed the compounds between axles - and even that in both possible ways. With 29 drivers qualifying, this was pretty much average attendance number of the season.
The latest RTFR XL standings winner Unite lost out to his teammate just by 1/50 of a second in qualifying, taking the other front row position on grid, but entered the 1st turn of the race as leader and kept it for all 38 laps to score his 1st RTFR race win of the year and 13th overall, scoring also his 91st top5 finish. Gábor set fastest laptime in both sessions to score his record breaking 35th pole position (breaking the tie for all time most) and record extending 35th fastest lap of the race, however despite all the tries, never got the chance to pass for lead, finishing less than a second behind winner, clocking the all time 21nd closest finish in RTFR,taking home his 71st top5 finish. Dzban gained a total of 4 positions during the race to finish 3rd with 8 seconds gap to winner - that is the pole's best ever RTFR race result, beating previous by 2 positions and also 3rd top5 finish from 5 total finishes. Top5 was closed by 2 TAV team drivers - the slightly more experienced Suforr finished 4th to score his best RTFR result and 2nd top5 finish, followed by El Nano in 5th,who's previous best result was 19th - he improved also his best qualifying result from 10th to 4th.
VOD at Youtube:
With this the RTFR action is over for this year and only season final standings are to be summed up,however RGE offers two other racing opportunities this year - first one is already on the coming weekend, where the 14th season of our longest running yearly league will start with round one in Blackwood - make sure not to miss out All-wheel-drive Winter Series 2025 season, more info and signups in AWS forum section. And do we even need to remind about 26th december traditions in LFS? If you're new to LFS,then here's the info you might be interested in...
Got some rage after a race?
Are you mad to someone?
Want to put your anger on someone to see his car upside down?
Want to release some steam while racing?
Or you are just naturally aggressive driver but all events too soft for you?
Well, here is your solution, because This is CRASHMAAAS !!!
the 14th annual X-mas derby event 2024
Thursday, 26th december, 18:00 UTC / 19:00 CET / 20:00 EET
The end of year is time for many traditions in many cultures. The simracing culture around the online racing simulator Live For Speed has one that goes back to year of 2011 - the year when the very first event of it's series took place on 26th december with 18 crashhappy people. 13 years later the number of crashhappy people rised up to 62,breaking records for non-endurance events attendance. So should we stop while we're at all time highs? Not happening - we're keeping the tradition alive until the last car has been recycled into tin cans,so for the 14th time...
Race [un]Green Events presents: the chance to take your 140 horsepower rear wheel drive XR GT and don't feel sorry if you happen to destroy it - because this is an event where you have a risk to get your car finished before crossing the finish line. The event will have only few basic rules regarding behaviour on track, otherwise - feel free to impress your opponents physically, divebombing and P.I.T. maneuvers more than welcome! Event will consist from different parts - qualifying, where each driver just sets his laptimes to decide starting places, heats in 2 or 3 levels, where the fight starts to get physical for the chance for final, the final, where best will be decided, battle royale where only event winners can race and a bonus run, where everyone will get a final chance to let out rage on masses!
Fern Bay is and stays the LFS true classic,so it seems we will never leave this place! Bullring V3 is still the place to be,also this year we'll use the very same layout as several years before and probably few years after. (click to see bigger image)
The track surface is 99% grass (not that the 1% of tarmac would make much difference anyway),one lap is 330 meters long and width variates from 10 to 20 meters and it even has a slight elevation! Layout file can be found as attachment from one of previous year's threads and in server, feel free to have practice runs to be familiar with track or just store the layout for own needs.
Now some information about the parts of this event:
Qualifying:
The hotlap qualifying will be used here. Every driver will have 1 outlap and 2 timed hotlaps, the best lap counts as per standart LFS qualifying. The order will be decided by connection list - from top to bottom, late joiners will have a chance for their run after initial order. Each driver will receive 2 simple commands from race administration: [drivername] - join - driver joins and stops his car right before entry of track (right before the yellow line) [drivername] - go! - driver enters the track for his qualifying run
To avoid any delays and make situation fair for everyone, tyre warming is forbidden (except on direct way from spawn spot to waiting place) and drivers must enter track not earlier and not later than on "go!" command.
Everyone else is expected to stay in spectators until called for his run! To speed up things,we will run 2 cars on track at same time. Track is just over 20 seconds long, this means cars will have around 10 seconds between them,so noone should disturb other driver normally. But in case someone spins and loses a lot of speed,he is expected to allow other driver to pass in case he is near behind!
Qualifying will determine starting order for most of runs!
Preliminary runs:
If there are more than 48 attenders, the event will start with preliminary runs - best 20 drivers from qualifying will qualify for quarter final automatically, rest will have to earn their spot through the 1st level of heats. Everyone beyound qualifying position 20 will be divided into 4-6 heats (depending on drivers count - aiming for ~8 drivers per heat),best 2 will qualify for quarter final directly, rest will be divided into 2 relegation runs to battle for remaining quarter final spots.
> Participants: Everyone who qualified outside top20
> Heat length: 6 laps
> Relegation length: 4 laps
Quarter final:
If there are 48 or less attenders, the event will start with quarter final heats,if there are more than 48 attenders, this will be the 2nd level of heats with 42 participants (6 heats with 7 drivers per heat). Top2 finishers will advance directly to semi final, rest will be divided into 2 relegation runs to battle for remaining 6 semi final spots.
> Participants: 42 best drivers (top20 qualifyers + 22 best from preliminary heats)
> Heat length: 8 laps
> Relegation length: 5 laps
Semi final:
Best 18 drivers from previous heats level will be divided into 3 heats with 6 drivers per heat. Top2 finishers will earn their spot in final, remaining 12 drivers will have to battle through the last chance run for 4 final spots.
> Participants: 18 best drivers from quarter final heats
> Heat length: 10 laps
> Relegation length: 6 laps
The final:
The final is the run where the event official winner will be decided in a 20 laps long heat! The starting order will be decided partially from heats and qualifying - all 3 semi final heat winners will start from front row (order determined by qualifying results),all 3 heat 2nd place finishers will start from 2nd row with same ordering, last chance run qualifyers will be ordered just by qualifying results.
> Participants: 10 best drivers from semi final heats
> Heat length: 20 laps
Battle Royale:
This run is for This is Crashmaaas !!! overall winners only! All the past event winners (including the new one) are set in the short 6 laps exhibition battle to sort out between themselves who is the best without any outside influence! Starting order - random, because the real champion does not care about grid position!
The Bonus run:
It's the ultimate carnage - everyone in server will be able to take part in this 20 lap run,the best part - starting order will be random,so you could only blame LFS randomizer for a bad starting position. As usually bonus run will have some new layout additions, some a bit experimental, some pretty much classic, some might put you out of race, some will help you to put others out.
As always the official part of the event ends with finish of Bonus run,but the afterparty will continue as long there are crashhappy drivers in server - 10 lap races on the Bonus run track just for fun, where we will allow all cars (including mods) and remove password of server!
Even this is a almost rule-free event on track while racing, the event format asks some tough admining,so everyone is expected to behave in server and follow admin's instuctions and these guide lines:
Starting of a run:
Everyone will be simply gridded in default formation - 1st position is on left side,2nd in middle and 3rd - on right side of each row.
Make sure you don't jump the start as LFS will either give you DT/SG penalty or even spectate you - penalty will be replaced by 1 lap penalty, while spectate will mean that your heat is over!
Racing rules:
Everyone is expected to follow clean racing rules... Yeah,right... This is crashmaaas! There are only these basic rules:
1. No wrong way driving - just anti-clockwise direction on track! In case you get spun heading wrong way, driver is expected to turn his car to right direction on full steering lock or reverse and make the J-turn.
2. No standing on track or massive slowing down - except the car is in undrivable condition/position,in that case feel free to leave your car as an extra obstacle for others and hope for someone's help.
3. No disturbing on non-finished drivers after finishing himself - once you cross the line to finish the heat, avoid any contacts with cars still running.
4. No rejoining during run - if the car is undriveable, rolled or outside the track, the run is over!
5. Have fun! (also a mandatory rule )
NOTE: After having some incidents in previous years, special attention on rule #3! If you finish your run,you may not interfere others in any way! Serious infractions will lead to disqualification. Also 2nd rule is ignored more and more,so repeated violations might receive ban from this and other RGE events. Let's keep it cool and fair for everyone!
Server behaviour rules:
follow the instructions of admins
no spamming in chat (few known spammers might be quickly kicked if they don't behave)
no insulting others in any way (other than crashing them while in a official run)
join only when allowed
no voting for restart/end/qualification

* PENALTIES :
RGˆRony - receives 5.06 seconds penalty added to his finish time for minimum pit time violation.
Luc (LFSW: kjio) and Perret (LFSW: Stheal) - are disqualified from race results and receive 3 months ban from Race Green Events organized events for dangerous and careless behaviour during the race. If you're not interested into taking part in organized competition, simply don't join it,but if you're becoming a moving obstacle for people who are racing,we will help not to join! Ban length just 3 months because both are relativelly new users and we still have a hope they can learn the spirit of online racing.

The season finale of RTFR XL came without big intrigues about fights for high season standings positions as top3 are well spread out in points count, but a car that is similar to LFS's own TBO class produced it's own intrigues for results in the specific race. With it's relativelly narrow tyres, the SLX180 TYPEX forced drivers to take care of tyre temperatures, causing a bit variable pace through the field - some where getting faster, some slower, while everyone had the challenge of tricky fast chicane 47 times during the race - however just 11 completed it all 47 times. With 29 drivers this was over average attendance of this season and 3rd highest number of the year.
Only a single driver has won 3 RTFR XL races in row twice - Botsi did such streaks in each 20ies and 30ies of the event. Now he's joined by his teammate Gábor in this achievement as the hungarian kept his latest winning streak alive this tuesday to score the 2nd 3-in-row. In qualifying he was the first to beat 1:37 laptime mark to score his 15th pole position, during the race he led all laps until his pitstop and last 5 laps after his closest rival's pitstop,to score his 13th RTFR XL race win - with this count he is also in the longer version the leader of most wins chart, breaking the tie with other teammate. The fastest lap of the race was his 14th and the top5 finish - his 23rd,while the 17th race win for Hungary puts the country above Lithuania in most successful countries ranking. 14 seconds apart in finish,R.Kardol scored the 2nd place finish as the only relativelly close competitor for race win after leading 13 laps, scoring also a record extending 52nd top5 finish. With early pitstop,RD2 found good strategy for this race - he started from 10th position and worked his way to 3rd in finish to score his best result in RTFR XL as his only other try resulted in 18th position, repeating also his country's best finishing result. Adam's 2nd place in qualifying was his and his country's best result, however he lost 2 positions during the race, finishing 4th,which is just repeated best result and 2nd top5 finish. Nosle qualified 5th and finished 5th to score his 2nd top5 finish out of 6 tries.
* FUN FACT OF THE MONTH :
Since the last race with RB4 in june 2021,only two TBO (PL200) class cars has been run in RTFR XL - XRT has been used twice and FXO once in these 3.5 years. This car is now the 3rd car of same cars class in this timeframe - obviously not a popular choice.
* CLOCK PITTER OF THE RACE :
Despite not being the fastest in pits,Unite still receives the honor of being Clock pitter - he had 10.06 seconds long work free pitstop, while there were another 3 drivers with faster or as fast pitstops, however all of them refuelled the car.
* FIELD RUSHER OF THE RACE :
Unite got himself also here with his name - with rather weak qualifying and good progress in race, the finn improved himself by 13 positions from 23rd position, one more than driver finishing directly ahead.
VOD at Youtube:
