Who would know that a little czech car from 90ies would attract the biggest crowd in RTFR in the past 13 months time - a total of 38 drivers qualified for this race despite the tricky handling of NGT class car,which has been officially licenced by the manufacturer. However 6 of the qualifyers decided not to start and with addition of one wildcard starter a total of 33 Škoda Felicias were standing on grid,using all 3 car's configurations,most default skins and few user skins the field was very colorful. However there were plenty of incidents,eventually forcing 1/3 of the field to retire for various reasons - quite high atrition rate for a 170 horsepower FWD car.
Lagooga wasn't attending RTFR for one year,but yesterday kept doing the same he did before the break - winning,as the lithuanian won both his last attended RTFR race and coincidentally also the last RTFR race in this same configuration (275th RTFR 3 years ago,running with LX6). Yesterday he was the one to beat,however his advantage was really small - he earned his 19th pole position (tied 4th most) with just 0.03s advantage and despite leading all 22 race laps (with that exceeding 200 laps led mark),he finished just 0.29 of a second in front of closest rival,still adding the 10th race win to his stats,while his top5 count now is exactly the double of wins - 20. R.Kardol qualified 3rd,but quite soon climbed up to 2nd position in race,eventually reducing leader's gap under 1 second,clocking the all time 16th closest finish 2 weeks after he was in front of 18th closest finish (now 19th). The all time top5 finishes leader added the 102nd top5 finish to his stats out of 120 overall race finishes. The 15 race rating and current season standings leader Gábor was very close to fastest laptime in both sessions,however could not pull the best out of this car and settled for 3rd place finish,scoring his 77th top5 finish. The brazilian TJ was 4th in both sessions to score his 14th top5 finish,Unite managed to steal the fastest lap of the race in last lap,scoring his 27th of those (still all time 3rd most),but finished just on tale end of top5 to add 94th of those to his stats.

Can't speak for all,but with race setup (R3 fronts) it was a bit challenging,but not really that bad,I had couple hairy moments when on full cornering suddenly inside lifted,but I survived despite NGT class cars have never been my speciality. I guess with racing config available also racing tyres should stay. And since attendance was so high (car will get in top5 in all time highest average attendance chart),it should make a return to RTFR in year or 2.

AWS 2025 final standings
The 14th season of RGE's longest running annual league is concluded,now it's time to review the season. This year 2 slower cars were brought into racing in rallycross to reduce the tyre problems usually plagueing AWS 40 minutes long rallycross races - successfully as racers were able to focus more on racing itself,making this more like normal circuit racing on mixxed surfaces. But despite the efforts,this season went into AWS history as the 3rd least populated season and least attended since 2016. Both signups and actual competitors counts went down by 6 compared to previous season - there were only 28 signups and 20 actual participants,2 drivers (both were rookies) failed to score points,so only 18 drivers qualified themselves for season finale - 5 less than last season. Attendance did not range a lot - from 14 in round 4 to 9 in both last rounds,averaging 10.7 drivers per round,which is a drop by 1.9 compared to 2024 and 3.3 less than all time average.
AWS 2025 Drivers Champion: RGˆDzidoris
One of the most experienced AWS participants finally reached the top this season - Dzidoris was the rookie of the year back in 2017,when he finished 3rd in overall standings,since then he was the vice champion for 3 seasons and after low performance in latest 2 seasons,this year he went into series fully motivated - the lithuanian won the first 2 rounds and won another 2 out of latest 4 rounds,finishing in top4 in both other rounds. The 4 wins from this season puts him on the top of winningest drivers chart with 12,passing V.Lakūnas,who has 11. Also the 3 scored pole positions puts him on top of the respective chart as he has a total of 11,passing the same rival. Dzidoris is the 4th different lithuanian driver who scores AWS drivers champion title,which is 5th in total for the Lithuania.
The main rival to the champion this season was his teammate Falcon. The canadian scored his 1st ever AWS race win in round 3 in the 600m dirt oval,doubling the his total pole positions count to 4. Even if the points standings were tied after half of the season,Falcon could not beat his rival anymore in remaining races,settling for vice champions honor,which is 2 positions better than his previous best season result back in his rookie season in 2014. The defending 2-time series champion saw the competition running away early in the season and only due his 5th round race win was still mathematically eligible of his title defence,however he was not able to challenge for race win in season finale,ending him in 3rd position in standings.
AWS 2025 Rookie of the Year: Cyk
There was not much competition for this award - a total of 5 rookies participated (another 4 were signed up but never attended),3 of them just in a single round. So it was all up to the remaining 2 rookies - after round 4 the difference was just 7 points,however the 2nd place driver did not attend last 2 rounds,leaving this award to the french newcomer Cyk. He attended all 6 rounds,finishing in positions between 6th and 10th,finishing 6th in overall standings. Madjester was the fastest in qualifying for round 4,but finished just 6th in results - that's his best finishing result out of 2 tries,taking 11th position overall. 3rd best rookie was Nejc,who finished 10th in his only attended race. Last season's best rookie,the sim's veteran S.Martin did not sign up for this season.
AWS 2025 Cross Challenge winner: RGˆDzidoris
If overall title was his 1st,the Cross Challenge award is already Dzidoris' 3rd one - he was the best in rallycross rounds in 2017 and 2018,when we were still racing RB4 and FXR in rallycross tracks. This year he was the driver to beat in both Blackwood and Fern Bay rounds,where he lost just a single point from max possible,while he finished 3rd in the dizzy 600 meters oval,finishing in standings with 5 points gap over the 2nd placed driver who won that round. Falcon was 2nd best also in rallycross rounds,finishing 2nd in season opener and 4th in season finale. The defending award winner Sobis took 3rd position in standings,breaking the points tie with 4th placed driver due the better 2nd best finishing result.
AWS 2025 Oval Trophy winner: YES Sobis
Only successful defence of Sobis was Oval Trophy as he finished between best 2 in both rounds,winning the Winter 200 for the 3rd time - he's the only driver with multiple wins in this round. Despite being fastest in qualifying in both oval rounds and winning the 1st one,Falcon had to settle for 2nd position in standings also for this award,the overall champion was 3rd.
AWS 2025 Teams Champions: Race Green Autosports
The defending 8-time teams champions and series hosts dominated this season with both numbers and performance - already after 2/3 of the season the title was successfully defended and the team finished the season with round 100 points gap over competition. Besides drivers in standings top2 positions and their 3rd driver in 5th overall,the team collected a total of 5 race wins,16 top5 finishes,5 pole positions and 3 fastest laps of the race. The rest of teams standings podium were taken by best performing single driver teams - Yes Motorsports finished 2nd due Sobis' 3rd position in standings,taking home 1 race win,6 top5 finishes and a fastest lap of the race,Zafiralis profited by Thehemuli's performance,who finished 4th in standings,bringing home also 6 top5 finishes and 2 fastest laps of the race.
AWS 2025 Nations Cup winners: Lithuania
First 5 seasons of AWS went under flag of Latvia,next 5 seasons - under flag of Lithuania. Finland won standings in the last 3 seasons and according to plan should have won this and next,however their performance and numbers were rather low this season,so Lithiuania stepped back in the game to become all time best nation in AWS by scoring a record breaking 6th Nations Cup. Lithuanian duo of Dzidoris and Sobis scored a total of 5 race wins,12 top5 finishes,3 pole positions and 2 fastest laps of the race. Despite outnumbering champions in standings top10,Finland could not compete for the nations title,losing it by big margin of 70 points,finishing the season winless and all 6 top5 finishes and both fastest laps of the race were scored by their best driver of the season Thehemuli. Canada finished 3rd in nations standings with sole performance of the vice champion - it's the first ever nations podium for the north american country in AWS,earning the position from 1 win,5 top5 finishes and two fastest laps of the race.

If you left server,did not join other server and did not close LFS,the latest mpr is still in your mprs list as temp_mpr - run it or rename it for storage. If joined other server or LFS was closed,then only way to get is to contact server owner (or whoever has access to server's control panel),then it can be retrieved from it,assuming mpr auto save is activated.

A custom configuration in Fern Bay hosted the 2nd round of RandomCar 2025 Series and it went pretty much under sign of LFS's own XRT - the classic front engined rear wheel drive coupe was drawn to 3 drivers,one run only during pre-round practice,set the fastest laptime,but never joined the actual event,other 2 were best 2 drivers of the round,switching positions and leading laps. 25 drivers qualified for the race,which is pretty much league's all time average attendance,one of them was so displeased with the car,did not start while other driver retired from race,leaving us with 23 finishers. Despite several complaints about drawn cars,no driver has still used the redraw option,available once per season.
The leading duo was joined by 3rd driver with different car,however it was still decided by XRT drivers - the 2nd place starter Master led the latest 7 laps of the 11 laps race and despite competition's attempts was able to defend race lead also during the hectic last lap,clinching his 1st ever RandomCar race win (previous best was 5th place). For 2nd race in row,the 2nd position in finish is Dodislaw,who started the race from pole position (his first),but led just 4 laps before conseding to rival,finishing less than half a second apart race winner. If he would not have sinned with forbidden config,podium would have seen 2nd place finishers teammate on it,however after penalty kicked in,Twincam was promoted to 3rd position in official results,repeating his personal best result,this time running Piran Firefly.
2 second place finishes and several bonus points puts Dodislaw into commanding 10 points lead in drivers standings,2nd currently is 2023 series champion R.Kardol,who got a car quite unsuited for the twisty Fern Bay track,costing him standings lead. Just 2 points away from 2nd position are Nosle and Thehemuli,the former is ahead on tiebreaker for better finishing position.
Drivers standings leader's team has also taken over the lead in teams standings - Sosiski racing is 2 points ahead of defending vice champions and 2023 champions RGA,Team S1dus is 3rd with 12 points gap to leaders. No change in top of nations standings,2-time champions Finland has also lost some ground and are trailing by 9 points now,Poland has jumped up to 3rd position now. Following success in this round,XRT has taken over best car award standings lead and is now 6 points ahead of Nortz. Fraud Wheeler and LFS's own licenced real world car Raceabout are 3rd and 4th in points tie.
29 cars were drawn for this round for 43 drivers,however 18 of them did not attend,so the field represented 21 different cars in this round. The favourite car for the randomizer this time was XM-5,which was drawn for 4 drivers,3 of them were present on the grid. Talot remains all time most drawn car even without a single draw for this round.
Master did not score 1st win just for himself,but also for his car - XRT's previous best race result was 3rd,achieved by Nosle and Arska. N.400S' best qualifying result before this round was 6th position,also achieved by 2 different drivers Pedro and Fnatic,now it was improved by Kyril,who qualified 3rd - with his penalty he missed secured new best finishing result for the car,which stays 5th place finish. R.Kardol's results with Fend Torus also went into series history as best ever - 10th in qualifying is 4 positions better than J.Lavrikov's achievement while 11th place finish is just a position better than Arska's result.
Round 3 will be run in Kyoto - in a configuration that's a bit shorter than the one used last year. The 3.19km configuration known as Kyoto North consists of the oval's turn 2 and infield section and it will be run in anti-clockwise direction. Also BZG coupe has been nominated for voting which will take place after next round together with 2 other cars not nominated yet.

Each driver receives one chance during the season to redraw the car that has been drawn. This option can be used only if car has been drawn during 1st wave of cars draw and the driver will be added to list of 2nd wave of cars draw. Please note that redrawing car means a 2.4% chance of drawing the same car also with 2nd try - in that case the driver has to use the drawn car and the redraw option will be reactivated for new use in future round. Option availability is marked in Drivers championship tab in spreadsheets right behind driver's name (✓ = available,x = not available). To use the option,write here a post with word "Redraw" before signups closure for round (17:30UTC)!
This car has much too low drag - 464N @ 40m/s allows to reach close to 290km/h,which for saloon car with 245hp engine is unrealistic. Probably value just a bit below LFS original 640N would be appropriate.
There is one change between 2025 rounds 1 and 2 - sadly it's a removal of a high quality sporty car. The 2020 HIRO CCF2 has been updated with lower performance,making the car uncompetitive in PL200 class,therefor we have no choice but to retire the car from RandomCar.

After 2 well attended rounds,this one suffered a minor setback - the LFS classic XRT racing in a custom circuit layed in the Layout square did not seem to be an appealing combination for many usual RTFR guests. 22 drivers started the race,marking the lowest number of this relativelly new year,however most of them had their share of fun during the race as you can see on livestream recording - there were plenty of battles for positions.
To defend the honor of track builders,team S1dus arrived with 3 of their most regular drivers in this racing series,2 of them were main favourites for taking the race win and keeping the team's winning streak in races with XRT alive. R.Kardol was beaten in qualifying,so he had to start from outside of front row,however he kept following the polesitter early in the race until he found a way past him - the dutchman took over race lead on lap 8 and kept it for the remaining 11 laps to score his quarter-century race win,setting also fastest lap of the race when trying to run away - that's R.Kardol's 18th of those,while he also started the 2nd century of top5 earning by scoring his 101st. Gábor was the fastest in qualifying,scoring his 39th pole position,but unlike in most races latelly,he was not able to use it to score another win in his 100th RTFR race - the hungarian had to settle for 2nd place finish,scoring his 76th top5 finish. However he put this race in history books for other reason - finishing just 0.3 seconds behind race winner,this was the 18th closest finish between all 353 races. Adam scored his best ever qualifying position by being the 3rd fastest in session,improving his personal best by a single position,despite some struggles during the race he returned in the same position for the race finish,repeating his best race result and scoring his 6th top5 finish. Also Thehemuli started his 100th RTFR race and also he was able to put the anniversary race into top5 counting position - he finished 4th being included in same position fights as both in front and behind him drivers,scoring his 18th top5 finish,top5 was closed by the slowest trackowners driver of the day - Unite scored his 93rd top5 finish.

Next week RTFR takes a break and leaves the server free for some RandomCar action - round 2 of the season will be run in a custom track at Fern Bay,which is very similar to Black Alternate configuration,however it does not use the track part with original starting grid and pitlane,cutting the track over Cadet's connection between roads. In 2 weeks RTFR will return as usually with one of the slick tyre cars - some information about combo can be heard in the livestream recording in video above. In 3 weeks RTFR XL will feature one of the most difficult cars from approved cars list - the wild McLarry D8M will be make the list complete by being featured now in all 3 RTFR versions (including the neglected RTFR CCCC). The drivers will have to tackle Aston's 8 kilometers long Historic configuration for estimated 33 laps (lapcount will be calculated using fastest laptime of qualifying session).

The 2025 season started with a very slow and and also finished with very similary slow car,but unlike season opener,this was a well known car - the 660cc engined K-car with AWD drivetrain was run in Fern Bay's Rallycross track for 2nd year in row,however the attendance was significantly lower than last year as only 9 drivers arrived to tackle the dusty course. With championship on the line,the top6 drivers arrived and raced for their final positions in standings,however just one of them was successful with position gain - 4 drivers just defended their positions.
The 3-time AWS vice champion and (before the race) tied winningest driver in league's history came into final round as standings leader. He needed just a 2nd place finish,however he obviously wanted to finish the season as a race winner - Dzidoris started the race from pole position (his 11th - now all time most) and led every single lap to score his 12th AWS race win,4th this season,leaving no doubts about championship outcome. Thehemuli qualifed just 4th,but found pace during the race,setting also fastest lap of the race when chasing leader late in the race,finishing on podium position for the 1st time this season. The defending champion was the number 3 of the day - he qualified 3rd,finished 3rd and that being 3rd in standings,successfully defending the position.

Back then in Aston it wasn't that noticable,but today we're racing in Rockingham and something stung in my eyes right away - car's shadow (raised the car so it's better visible). I guess for better quality some LOD2 improvements are required.

...and yet you talking about downforce while editing drag.
Sorry,no intention to insult,just pointing out some misalignment of definitions - removing the negative lift surely also helped to make the car more realistic on technical side. Even of your calculations are correct - I'm still wondering if it would be really possible to reach 380km/h with 560 horsepower motor with car like this,as it is quite a large block. I wonder if Tesla made the announced Cd a bit better than it actually is.
