Trigger happy and blind admin (MRC Pablo) banned me for crashing after the race...despite me stopping safely at the pit wall.

Looking for the replay for this race if anyone has it. Feel free to post it publicly as well:

The race in question was and will be my last on LFS. Had enough of these guys ruining the game.


To MRC Pablo (xpablousky), you know the MPR temp is replaced once you rejoin. You only suggested it to avoid the possibility that you could be wrong. You could have checked the replay yourself, eaten up your pride, and apologised for being a trigger happy admin. Know that you ruin this game for others.

All he did is to ruin his own and server's reputuation - if you feel LFS being ruined by such incident,then it's your own fault. Don't like the admin,switch the server - simple as that,even there aren't as much as there used to be,I'm sure it's not the only server.

also, you are correct about the incident, after the race someone rams pablo but you, that is not the one that has rammed him, ends being kicked or banner (not sure i'll check soon)

Big boy Pablo can come here and apologise himself. It's absolutely shameful that he represents a server that is a large part of the LFS online experience.

i understand your frustration but its still the right thing to do to unban you and fix the mistake

Worth noting, if you want to play LFS again in the future: I recommend that in-game, you go to the Options --> Game --> Multiplayer replay save. Set it to [auto save - not recommended]. That way, it does save every session for you, so you don't need to ask here.

Of course, it can and most likely will save some replays you don't need, but if you are worried about does it take too much space in your computer, you can always remove them from the [LFS-instance]/data/mpr folder. In case you're wondering how much space do they take, my laptop which is little over 2 years old has 817 mpr-files at the moment I'n writing this post. Size of that folder is 13,2 Gb

I primarily play the blackwood + FBM combo. That is what LFS is to me (and many others). In terms of pick up racing I have 2 options:
- an unplayable and empty Brazilian server at 400ms ping
- a barely playable, but populated, MRC server at 300ms ping

That's it. In fact, all racing servers bar MRC are basically empty 95% of the time. This is not new news. Old posts talking about LFS being a "single player experience" date back some 10 years ago. So, your great suggestion to "switch servers" and how it's "my fault" that I feel that way is very shallow.

You out of everyone here should understand this. Let's say a racer predominantly plays LFS to join one of your events. Your event is LFS to them. Then for whatever reason you go on a power trip and accuse them of something they didn't do. Then when they fight back you ensure that you are judge, jury, and executioner by telling them that their only recourse is to provide a temp MPR file that you know they can no longer retrieve. Then you ban them for not sending this irretrievable file. You're telling me that player won't have a negative impression of the game after that?

This was the last straw for me. Everything from 50k+ lap veterans that don't understand basic racing rules, to crashers, to people like Pablo acting in bad faith on a power trip. I'm just done with it. So yeah, this incident did push me over the edge and ruin the entire game If that's my own fault, then so be it.
