High speed tracks rock, that's why ky gp is great with it's high speed flowing sections. More of that, yes please. But we have to please everyone so there's always going to be a few slow corners.
Looking at your previous post the red ball still doesn't look right in the brazil test, DSR certainly looks better in that regard. Is the chrome ball using the invisble ground plane method? It certainly looks a lot better.
I've tried the environment mapping and HDRI approach and it only affects the top half of the render above the horizon, the sides and bottom still look transparent on reflections so that's a no go unless I'm doing soemthing wrong, but how many envirtonment slots can there be under the material? I'm not using anything in the default 3dsmax environment setting.
So basically theres no easy fix without going and making a new scene with more image planes. Guess this is just a quick and dirty way of making a render with a background that looks ok until closer inspection.
samyip can you explain how to sort that out? No matter what I do the issue remains. It's not that visible in my renders to worry about it, but how do you fix it?
Now I see, the wheel turn compensation set to 1 makes the virtual wheel lock quicker, quite nice feaure But yes the soft stops are great, not used too much only on some tracks.
If you want the correct wheel turn for cars that use less than 720 degrees then yes wheel turn compensation should be at 1.
That's just been explained to me
Car looks very washed out on the top but too dark on the side, the sun isn't setting enough for it to look like that. Also sun looks like it's shining directly towards the camera but the shadow is going off to the side. Maybe it's just me though. Maybe a HDRI would help making it look mroe natural.
Why you're asking how to import cars into rcraptor or some other game on an lfs forum is beyond me. That's probably the reason for no answers. No one wants to see our beloved cars in other games anyway,
My screenshot is a bit missleading. You create a brazil basic material first then in the diffuse slot you load up the bitmap. Then it will allow you to drag that material into the csg server.
Don't use the ip command at all. Maker sure the IP of the computer doesn't change from 192.168.0.6. Forward port 63392 on the router to the IP 192.168.0.6.
