Physics aren't anything special. Arcade style with some tweaks I would put it. Bouncing off walls slows you down. Once you start sliding you just spin in a bunch of smoke. But even so its extremely fun to blast around. I haven't unlcoked the harcore mode yet apparently that changes things even more than turning everything off.

Yeah the 7series don't do AA and HDR., but I'd rather HDR than AA. ATi will do both though.

I've been in a situation where the blue flag has been shown for more than 2 sectors because the person lapping couldn't catch up. This would onyl work on a server where as soon as blue flag is displayed the person being lapped HAS TO yield no matter what. Would royally suck.

Yeah paint materials make a huge difference, but usually you're applying a skin to the lfs cars. There are some awesome car paint materials for vray, but I haven't found any for brazil. You'd probably be looking at a shellac. The key to hdri's is to have a nice background that will match the hdri image. It won't look very real having a hdri on a white background.

It would definately help with the theory behind everything if you actually know about car dynamics instead of just playing the game. LFs has taught me about racing lines and how the car behaves that I can now use when I go karting.

Still very fake/studio like. If you want realistic looking lighting I suggest looking into HDRI lighting.

I prefer to drive my real car with a keyboard too. Can't wait till they release a car with mouse steer.

Veyr strange. Lookign at the race details you can see the guy that finished 3rd was 3 laps down and had a drive through penalty. Maybe he crossed the finish line before you and that's how it registered. Stil, it's displaying it wrong.

Lapper is an unofficial addon to lfs. It doesn't use LFSWorld.

Yeh that could be a problem also. If someone is lagging the whole server lags which is a bit funny. I think people that are lagging shouldn;t race since it ruins the experience for everyone else. having a reliable net connection is important in online racing. It's like having a reliable race car.

Crashgate already rendered it for you above.

Team XFR have a server from 500servers that doesn't lag. I'm pretty sure we can use it for next round in division 2 if needed.

In the meantime by using the split time indicators you can get a good feel for cars that are a lap up or down.

LFS defaintely should see it as a slider if not an axis. I also wouldn't recommend using it because it's simply much too cumbersome. You need some thing that reacts quickly like Forbin saaid and in it's natural state will return to 0.

whats that in kilos? think its a lot anyway. How tall are you? You should start by eating right and adjusting your diet along with working out. Protein shakes etc are only for putting on more weight and muscle, but first you have to lose some weight.

I don't have the replay, if you could post it up I'd gladly take a look. In my rage I anger quit and didnt think to save it.

Yes I was off the racing line.
Yes I had trhe inside corner and
yes I was infront.
I wasn't lagging. I'm pretty sure the server wss lagging for some reason because the pb messages were comign up very late.

I cant go around the corner that fast on the inside so I had to brake. The guys following shouldve known that I'd have to brake to make the turn and brake accordingly, it;s part of racing. You don't just go crashing straight through someone.

Once I check the replay I'll make my decision though.

bsolutely appaling start, both lag lap and the real deal. Whoever hit me from behind at 500km/h should be banend for wreckin. Totally unaccpetable.
