Take those colored sunglasses off. If you cannot feel the difference in track surface something is wrong with you (or your wheel).

Maybe but the track surface sucks, same for curb behavior. Force feedback is outdated and the track surface feel is even not there-at-all. Just nothing. Yes, South City has some little bump when you go across the light-rail (or what is it?) .. And thats it. When you drive on AC tracks then you really have the force feedback feeling you actually drive on a track.

This only makes a world of a difference, don't even need any new LFS tire physics if only that would improve.

Yes, this whole VR thing.. Was it all being done by own intel? Or where there talks in the scene and the job got done faster due to help of others? The thing with this physics is that no assistance can be called and I assume thats the reason why it is being stuck for so long. Running into problems by which nobody can help.

The main problem is that LFS is no priority anymore since 2009 (The announcement of Scirocco), LFS lasted a few extra years on its own success. Amazingly long actually.. But everyone can feel it's a dead end now, unless some magical happens. Is it possible that one person can do this with a busy family life and an aging brain? I highly doubt that, it is against all odds. It, is, humanly, not, possible.

LFS started with physics, there was even surprise that there was big interest for the first versions of LFS. In other words the attention was/is welcome but not a necessity.

My opinion too, but all this text and pause is not needed.. Sharing replays in conflict situations is important but not putting it on Youtube combined with some biased opinion about the whole situation. Just put .mpr online, nothing more. All engine/brake/car data is now missing also, it's just silly to use Youtube for discussions like this.

And.. I am hundred, thousand percent sure that a lot of racing drivers are thinking exactly the same thing about LFS.

My opinion: Definitively not spend too much time on this because indeed its an arms race which even the biggest company's fail to succeed at. Sure there could be some improvements to make it more difficult but licensed people already waiting eight years now for some update on the physics. This has more priority then some 14 year old kids f*in around on some lame cruise or drift server in some illegal environment.

I mean, it's not really racing quality whats out there. As far as I know. (no potential Bottas people).

A long time ago I started to get these Youtube content removed but I got too annoying for Google people and they asked if I was/am officially related to LFS. Which I am not.. Sadly the officially related persons fail to establish a good contact with Google/Youtube. I am puzzled why, but hey what can I do.

It's not even a lot of work to claim illegal use copyrighted content :/

Demo / programming help on this forum is a different subject... Maybe demo licensed people should be forum limited as well, not because there is InSim @demo but more because demo is just demo. It will be one more reason to buy a license to have write access to all forums. Not only talking about programming section but some other sections could be more restricted for demo people.

Hey, I was demo myself for some months and not even interested in buying a license until some friend got one and was raving about it. So, I know how it is to be demo [forever and eevverrr].. But there has to be more triggers to buy a license for demo people then only "more tracks and cars".

We are all having a break because the dev(s) are having a break (for the millionth time) but eehh, why is there 'racing' in the title and the first thing in the topic itself is about a cruise server? Confusing
