As this screen shows the default tach colors sometimes exactly match the ground color in south city, making it impossible to read(as in screenshot), I switched the colors to black so they are readable but maybe a better default or a drop shadow would help?
I suppose this is an interface bug, when associating a .set file to open with lfs instead of copying it to the setups folder it still copies it to the settings folder
Actually it does stall it, the revs drop to zero and if you shift to neutral and stop the engine will be off. In your example it just push starts itself back alive when you unlock the wheels and it still has forward speed
On cars like the lx6 when close to flat shifting(keeping gas down when pressing the clutch to shift then letting off the clutch) even on a fresh clutch the rpms will just slowly drop down to match what it should be at. It would seem like the clutch would have more grip than that, how can it slip so much when it's not even hot?
Here is a question we can ponder while waiting, which of the following would generate more complaints/annoyance in the community:
Giving an estimated date that is not firm and then possibly having to postpone it past that date
(saying we will try to get it out next wednesday but make no promises)
OR
Saying nothing and have everyone sit around wondering and filling up threads with anticipation.
I know Scawen prefers to not give any date and just release it when he can thinks fit, but wouldn't even a vague estimate be better than nothing? It just seems like people will complain about it not being out early enough whether you post an expected date or not, so what is gained by not saying anything?
One of the paddle shifters on my g25 stopped working, so I took it apart and ran a new wire and fixed it. Better than trying to hassle with customer service and only maybe getting a replacement. Having a EE degree helps though
37.89, I recalibrated my wheel inside lfs so that about 45 degrees either way was lock to lock then selected calibration lock so I could turn the wheel back and forth just about instantly. The course wouldn't be as painful with a rwd car where you could whip the rear around.
Some of your posts remind me of what people must of thought in the 1400s, why would you want to explore over the ocean and find more land? What could you possibly do that you couldn't do here? There is plenty of land around here for people, It would only be a waste to have more. ie people saying what we have now is perfect and there could never be a reason to want anything else. Wanting to do something just for the hell of it is sometimes a good enough reason.
The time was lost when the bug was created in the first place, it's not the people who saw/exploited the flaw that are responsible for it being there. (If there is indeed an issue)
+1, I haven't been playing LFS much lately simply because it's the exact same content that I have been playing for forever. New tracks and content would be the best thing that could happen to LFS right now.
Anyone else think there are surprisingly few details about the actual cases on that website? What is the record of the appeals cases? They only offer a very short explanation of what actually happened, saying that he was indeed at the scene of the crime and assisted the murderer. Why should we believe he is innocent when they offer no evidence to prove that?
Are people going to say that if someone is driving the getaway car for a bank robbery then that person shouldn't also be charged with bank robbery?
One of the best things is that people have no easy way to gauge the realism of what is supposed to be a simulation of real life driving? If people could identify where the sim fails at doing something right then it would be easier to correct it and make it better. Unless you want to say making a realistic sim is a waste of time and the devs should just make something fun so they can make money.
