Assuming the tracks are in the same level of detail as rockingham, with 10 AI cars and full graphics settings it used 247 megabytes, so most likely it will be enough the tracks being updated, if the day/night transition gets added i doubt it would take up the remaining 265mb
I personally feel like you do not need to explain anything, I have had more than my moneys worth and can even go as far as saying that with the people i have met through LFS, it would make LFS priceless
And very wise words, my children are now grown up, it happens so quickly that you must grab memories and special moments while you can
A lot more people are using VR in lfs than you may believe, every day i find more and more that use it. The work on anti-piracy is something that will always need working on, the only game which seems to have done well on that matter is I-Racing even then you can get a version which allows you to drive offline but is a old version
I understand where your coming from, what has to be asked is how much and how likely would the additional content be used, look at rockingham, it improves on the previous lfs content but is hardly used, i agree that a lot could of been created and added over the years but had not, things have started to look better with the dev's becoming more active so fingers crossed
(btw been doing a few laps on the thompson road gran prix track from your link, a great track)
I usually am negative about most custom made tracks as even the good ones are not perfect but these look amazing, will have to give them a try so something good has come from it
In defense of the LFS, the creators of the tracks have not had to do coding for the game itself takes time. Preference should be quality of service over quantity of content which is what scawen and others have given us
Not that rare considering the updates done regarding VR, which may not be something that benefits some directly but still updates that are beneficial to others
I thought it has been shown that you can easily do that in a.c. It is not as bad while they currently have the 50% of deal which takes it to $99.50 for 2 years
And thats what I-Racing so bad, i would not say it was much better than in project cars 2 when set correctly but saying that i tried I-Racing once and never liked it before i had even had the chance to race
Its certainly not worth a subscription too play as graphically its no better than a.c, and p.cars 1 is better never mind p.cars 2 but realism for the driving i would not be able to judge due to not having drove i-racing that much compared to the others
The FFB is good in project cars when using jack spade ffb settings. I am constantly altering in LFS to find a sweet spot for myself
@racon The ferrari 458 italia wheel, if so i think the tension they put using the bungee cord was perfect, my 70 year old dad went back to using one from a g27.
i managed to revive my g27 which at first started to wobble which was an easy fix and a pin falling out and losing my ffb.
I must say my g27 has took some punishment to get to where it was which has persuaded me to go for another as the latter ones released do not look as strong
i see what i had not set to see the rest of the servers. i only have a few of the DLC and had it set to only show servers that i had the cars to drive.
Still LFSWORLD shows me as having met over 1000 different racers each month that i have had multiple races with, and with the majority driving over a 1.20 pb on bl2 (easy to do) which is not too bad, i am online often though, sometimes a full day
Totally agree with lfsrm about visibility, with LFS having a demo mode that alone would attract people if only they knew
The a.c statistics page is total nonsense, it said earlier today that 2000+ racers were online, but you check with no set filters theres is at most 200, i know that some could be on a server that for whatever reason we cannot reach but still doubt it would be 2000 racers on there
According to LFSW my average encounters that i race with multiple times is 1228 per month
I do so othen and it certainly helps with getting your reaction time a little better in a slower car. Put me in the bf1 or fo8 or fzr and I am more stable than if i was in the uf1. Never give up on any certain car and if you want to be near a wr it will take dedication and determination once we are at a stage where it seems we cannot improve.
Finally if its online racing then the cars you use depends on what servers are active
@driver8 anytime you fancy practicing any cars on any track give me a shout and il join you.anytime anyday
You could buy a DK2 rift and use the debug tool to improve the image by setting the pixel per display pixel to 2 which makes a good difference and works very well with LFS. For around $100
You can reset it via lfsworld by clicking on the current pb time, we also now have Blackwood Historic which does not have the chicane. I am far from fast on either with GTI but have many setups that may be of help if needed.
I live very close to Oulton Park and spent a lot of my childhood there, Great track. While certain parts seem narrow, you can go 3 wide and at least 2 wide near close to major corners
I'm only stating a genuine fact.Yes people offline race/hotlaps but does not have any hotlaps uploaded and if you check every account that makes such post they generally have the same thing in common(check it out)
Also you confirm what i say and that is the majority of people have not driven most combo's so still plenty of fun to be had
Its better having done"millions of laps" than very few laps overall, it shows i play lfs,and as i am enjoying what i am doing i have had my moneys worth
Obviously it shows that no matter what is released they wont be happy if they have not given the current content a chance once they are bored of one combo
