Weird, Friday always used to be release day, but I guess with Halo reach being release on a Tuesday (to match the US), anythings possible now.
Dead Rising 2 will be released on a wednesday, Mafia II was released on a thursday, etc. Nothing unusual over here.

PS: Official date for europe is the 3rd of november, but if you pre-order it, since they have to make sure you got it in your mailbox at the 3rd, they ship it out a day early, which means it's always in your mailbox a day early aswell... meaning you get it at the 2nd of november.
Must be getting old, things were better when I was young
Weather looks amazing :jawdrop:
Indeed, the weather is mind blowing

I hope there will be some long "Touge" track... don't know if we could create one though, what exactly is the limit of the track creator in kilometers?
length will be limited to 10km, enough for decent mountain passes , bit short tho for rally
the new weather looks fantastic and some of the shots in the weather trailer look amazing (specifically to 0.5 secs of lmp1 in the dark replay) but the thing that interests me the most atm is the randomly generated rally tracks, if done properly they could be fantastic, however as it stands i still think gt5 will move the yard stick of racing simulation. Polyphony finally showing what the ps3 is truly capable of
The rain on the windscreen looks phenomenal! I'm also glad they included the VW Kombi
Weather and a pre-order price reduction to £34 on the same day = happy days
Jesus Christ! The pics look amazing! :faint2:
Ferrari 458, night time at Le Mans from Gamersyde. No sound so I put some YT audio swap music on it

It's freakin annoying that we never know what exactly are we looking at, standard or pro physics.. That night racing on Le Mans looks too 'clean' and 'static' for my taste..
Looks great to me.

Seeing how easily he took on the AI with subpar driving I'm betting on Begineer or Intermediate mode here
The AI was pretty tough at Gamescom in Pro mode - AI is set at the hardest level in this mode.

Le Mans is pretty bumpy though, just didn't seem to show it on the video, but it is extremely bumpy at speed, the FFB will shake you to bits
as it should be then going down the old straight pre chicane days
If you watch the bit here where the old race cars are driving on Le Mans, the trackside appears quite bare compared to the other versions we've seen.
It's probably the older variant.
