it is a 1/4 mile oval race car for drivers aged 12-16

woah thats one hell of a car
Been driving a week today. Done over 700 miles. An average of 100 a day! Crazy considering I don't have have to go anywhere.

Hopefully, it will wear off soon, as its getting expensive...

It will, but it takes a pretty long time I did that too. First day I had my new car I did 150 miles
done a few thousand since june myself. though its not too bad at 35-40mpg

I have 6000 kilometers now (3728 miles) in just over three months. But that's not too bad at 50 mpg

Well, I have 'only' put £150 in the tank. I find that £100 gets me about 500 miles, as a rough guide. Meaning a full tank (Circa £60) will get me about 300 miles. To be honest, I was exactly pottering around, if I tried I could get more miles on a tank.

The good thing with my car, is it has a MPG gauge, so I can adjust my throttle to get as high MPG as possible
a tank to 300miles?! Mine did 330 to 37 litres. and that was with a few 0-60 runs included cant wait to fit the fuel injection and get the same mpg but with 20 more bhp

I dont even want to think how much ive spent on petrol. its been at least 7 fills of about £30 each.
I do put V-Power in mine though, which is a little more expensive, but I do more miles on it. Don't know if it works out in my favour or not, but I would definitely say my car runs better on it at least. Wouldn't run it on anything less.

I was quite pleased with 300 miles to a tank. *Adds better fuel economy to list of reasons to buy a Capri*
300 miles from a 1.6 and from 60 liters?

That's 13 gallons, meaning 22.82mpg, which is the same as an M3 on a gentle cruise.

Niall, you are such a numpty. xD
I said £60 not 60 liters you bollock.

I think its about 50 liters.

The car isn't running smoothly. It has been sat up a while. It's booked in for a FULL service at my main dealer so that should sort it.

Either way, 300 miles to £60 is better than I expected. With the way everyone moans there asses of in this nanny state, I didn't expect to get to the end of road from the Shell garage without running out of sixty quids worth of fuel.

Also, I wasn't on a gentle cruise. If I was, I would be looking at more miles. At least I have the correct amount of miles. Bitch,
Car filled up with about £30 of Petrol - Cost = Free ("Dad, I've left my debit card at home and I have about 10% of a tank left - help!")
Just change the oil/filter, leads and plugs. should do all it needs. thats all i did to mine and it had been sitting for 11 years! works fine.

PS: if you want the fuel economy youll need the 2.0 model. 1.6 is worse on fuel economy and the 2.8 does about 33mpg at best!

The radio is missing.
That's what happens when your stereo is worth more than the car.

You are such a prick, that means your car doesn't have a stereo right?

And on a side note: my ex had a VW Polo, it got broken into 2 times and the radio was worth shit.
it was a cheap pos sencor radio...they broke into two other cars on the same parking lot...

LOL. OK MY BAD NIALL BABY. SEXY TIME!

I love my 150 miles to the tune of like £18

And the roof, the luggage space, the heater/airconditioning and and and....

Just kidding. I'd prefer your Aprilia too. If only I had a riding licence and some spare money in an old sock

I had a CD-player on my car, maybe two years ago. But then some idiots stole it... Haven't had a CD-player after that in that car, but that's just because I don't mind about listening music while driving. Sound systems are just redundant weight. I like to listen my motor instead.

But still, I hate fooking thieves.
my new car...a "bit" better then my previous golf3
