Quote from The General Lee :Nope, I paid for it out of my own money.

When I pass, the insurance will be in my name, paid out of my money.

The repairs that are being done, are being paid out of my money.

*insert something to do with the car* is/are being paid out of my money.

I'm no Harjun

credit to you mate, credit to ya, just a shame it's a Beemer and not an Audi
Good job on the body work General. Have to partly agree with BlueFlame though, shame it's a Beemer.

Each to their own though!
personally i like that version of 3 series, that and the mid-late 80's one. other then that beemers are nasty.
E30 is the only Beemer that looks good. And the sound of a Beemer inline 6 with a nice exhaust system sounds the nads!

That's all I like about them.

Bring back old Ford's!
Thanks Blueflame - I put the decal on my car today "Quattro Ist Für Sissies" thats all I need to say to you...

Thanks to you too Beefyman, just in case you didn't know, it was my mates uncle who done the body work.

Here are some "before" and "During" pictures again...

Still beats a german AWD pussy car
But it doesn't beat German RWD power!!
@ The General Lee : I had a E36 once...still thinking of getting one as a second car...nice car mate
Thanks buddy

What do you have as a first car?
Quote from The General Lee :But it doesn't beat German RWD power!!

that depends on if you do anything to it or not! there is a capri somewhere going round with a 3.2 BMW engine.
and another with a 800bhp V8

Having a Bimmer lump in a Ford just defeats the object really.

Seen plenty of V8 Capri's.

I think it's better when you've got a true Ford engine in a Ford, especially when it's a Cosworth powerplant.

Saw a extremely clean MK1 Escort this summer, painted in Castrol colours, stripped interior, rollcage and it had a Sierra Cosworth engine under the bonnet. It looked pretty much like a race ready car, and it was very nice at that.
My car. Its a '98 2.8 with around 59.000km behind it. Stock except h&r coilovers, k-mac camberplates, eisenmann exhaust and a m-bumper to make it look good.

pretty nice, but in this body, the only car I like is the M coupe
M coupe is nice of course, but with that I would end up like in LFS - of the track far too often...

LMAO, pretty much the reason I have went for "slow and safe" type of car...

I still don't understand why you would buy a car that looks like M Coupe but has a 2.8 when you could have a 328 coupe (or a cabrio at that) but who am I to judge other people

Yeah, usual conversion is a 2.9 cosworth now
YB's are just too expensive!
still, always enjoy the vid of the cosworth 4wd capri Vs the holden thats been posted on here a few times. and that was with only a slight tune on the engine (300bhp from the yb cossie i think) Sadly, quite soon after that vid the owner parked the car up and left it to rot

I had an E36 coupe before this (only 318is but still). The Z3 with its old suspension at the back and shorter wheelbase is very different to drive. Much more of a "drivers car".

As for the 2.8 - I hate it - but its the only engine in the coupe I could afford...

I gotta try it and find out the difference then... a little sneaky "test drive" at a used sports car dealer won't hurt I guess
My old rusty Toyota :spin:
