Quote from J@tko :You'd be surprised how many Americans would find that complicated.

Well, that could be complicated. 89 could stand for a million diffrent things. I have 84 in my name, but I wasnt born in 84.

Go brush your teeth, that couldnt be to complicated, or could it.....

Quote from The General Lee :I went through a massive phase of loving The General Lee car, I still do every now and again, great car...

It does not come from what the car is named after, Robert E. Lee, who was a general in the army.

My race name come from...

The Reyland Escort had the number plate: L70 ONY (Looney) I then changed my in game number plater, wrongly, too L700NEY then after struggling to find a decent race name, I chose Looney

That's why
There was a great US band called Big Black who did a track called Racer X. When I was karting we made a point of having it playing loudly in the pits .......

As the lyrics say, -

" Got a big white X
On the top of his car
Rex keeps his speed
In a little glass jar
Racer X on the road
Rex on the track
Little cartoon nips
Racer X on attack
OK
Just a man in a car
Racer X got a need
Come on, Five
I need a little more speed"

If you know your cartoons then you'll know that Racer X is of course Speed Racer's missing bro who repeatedly saves his ass, is much faster than he is and wears black ..........

Gawd... my story is soooo boring...

The time was March 2005, and I was to join a motorsport forum. At the time the Vauxhall Astra was the top performing car in the BTCC and I thought I should base my name around that. I had already used the "Mp3" part of my name in previous lives (MP are my initials, the 3 is to add the audio format theme), but thought I should use a motorsport themed name in order to look like a proper enthusiast. Thus - Mp3 Astra.

I receive quite a lot of jibes from LFS racers and PS3 players with microphones (I've heard foreign people giggling and saying "Mp3 Astra?" a couple of times) for my alliance with the Vauxhall (Opel) Astra. But I don't care, it's my Internet identity, and will remain so forever!
Quote from Luke.S :Mines boaring

For one moment i wass thinking in Luke.S = Luke Skywalker

lol... heheheheh.. its funny to read how ppl chose their usernames
Alkanphel as one of the main characters in the old, old anime, Guyver.
When I wanted to create an account at RSC, my first attempts failed because the name already existed. I was in a hurry, so I used the name of the account I had back at the University.

It was at the dept. of maths (wiskunde) and computer science (informatica); the last two characters are my RL initials -- the admins were Un*x guys and had a fixed way of naming accounts. Not very readable, but it does give you a unique ID.

When I moved to LFS I kept the name, because it had become a net identity. Guess I'm stuck to it now.
I got internet in 1997 and my nick came from the first game i played online a lot; Rogue spear.
At that time i was a nightperson (still am in fact) and chose the name Nocturnal as i tought it was fitting.
Then in my MMO period (mainly DAOC) people started to call me Nocc ,noccie or noccy, so thats where my current nick came from.

though in Ofp/ArmA , a game i play with RL friends mainly, I use Stany..which is bastardized from my real name Stijn.

How did you find out your LFS username?
