What the hell have you done to your car?

Slap the stock grill back on, it looks stupid without it.
there is a carbon V to go back on the front, but it means taking the clam off to fit it, so ill just wait for now

nice, i kinda like it without that front grille

Needs more boost + a2w intercooler, but a sweet ride none the less heh

Nah, it looks... happy!
everyone says that
It looks alot better without it imo, now it looks more agressive.

Nice car.
only thing that sticks out in my mind is the ecotec engines...

is this as bad as previous... " models " such are the calibra coupes or simular ?

nice car though, would be-friend a VXR worker... get all the inside tips on fine tuning it.
Dude your car is awesome! Love it! Also, don't feel bad if your radiator blew up. My brother just hit his friend in his Jeep cause his foot slipped off the clutch! He had to get a new front end (grill, radiator, lights, and peice around the headlights)!

And the Jeep has no damage?!

Only in a Jeep.
ec0tec kicked in, y0!

nice build. Got to love red+black
These 2.2 ecotec engines are pretty bullet proof, the only thing thats a problem is the timing chain gets starved of oil causing it to stretch then snap, but only the early versions were effected.. After 2003 i think they installed a bigger oil jet nossle as this didnt get blocked...

Other than that they are ok, 145bhp with about the same lbs torque is quite low, but in such a light car its not noticable..

Ill try get some decent pics soon.
got a couple more updates

Hi Lift Comp Cams

i got these to go with the 2.4 manifold, they take the power from 3000 rpm through to 6800rpm, at the moment the limiter kicks in at 6200rpm so im going to have a remap done fairly soon and hopefully.... <key word should see about 190 bhp.

14 August 2009

Calypso Red Hardtop

only problem is the hardtop was stored in a garage for ages so the colour hasnt really faded, so its slightly brighter than the rest of the car.

im going to go get my mate to cover it in vinal to match my car and then if anyone wants to take the vinal off, they will have a nice perfect vibrant colour underneath

14th August 2009

Momo Gear Knob

when i cut my gearstick down to create a smaller throw i had to cut off the thread that the original one went onto, no matter as i bought this design from ebay for pretty cheap

14 August 2009

Alacantara Door Cards

no pics as of yet, but i got them for free so put them on

550lb Rear Springs

there has been alot of discussion over on the vx220 forum about which springs are best for the car, and naturally me being me have had to try them all out to find the best for me, having these stiffer springs on the rear made the front end a bit more pointier, and the back end wants to come round a little more.

this setup with a slightly softer stiffness at the front gets my thumbs up

no pics
sweet

although on first glance i thought the numberplate said you arse
Complete with dodgy illegal spacing :shhh:

Put it in america and most will mistake as a ferrari

They'll most probably mistake it for being a piece of GM crap. Well, not mistake..
