Scawen, finished polish training translation waiting in the attachment.

There's also insufficient text space in "Testdrive - GTI" and "Rallyx Testdrive - XR GT" lessons, when using polish. I had no shorter words to use

I'm wondering about one thing: why there were no tires along that wall? Did track authorities not assume, that someone might crash there? I thought you usually have to assume the worst.


Anyway, on this video you can see, that STR car was removed properly and BMW's wheel was torn off by a wall.

It was the most (or one of the most) horrible crash I have ever seen. I must admit I was terrified when I saw Robert not moving and medical crew bustling around wrecked car.

News that he is almost unhurt is just fantastic, especially for polish fans. Imagine, 15 years ago he'd be dead three times in such an accident...


BTW, Kubica is pronounced "ku-be-tsah", NOT "ku-be-ka", as you heard in Hamilton's radio

As some of ppl above - this is a racing, not cruising sim.

But I also agree, that there could be 3 options for canreset (no / yes, without repair / yes and repair).

Serious racing servers will remain with canreset set to NO, the rest will be happy too.

+1 for track change option every x races/minutes. But id should be available to set in server's cfg. Not everyone has the know-how to write an insim app, also not everyone wants or has time to dig into insim.

Btw, searcing the Unofficial Addons section didn't help.

Moreover, if track rotation were adjustable from cfg, it would be compatible regardless insim or game version.

It would be even cooler if you could:
- define a list of tracks to chose from by creating a txt, the same way you make only certain tracks available on the server
- set, wether the tracks were selected one by one, as written in the txt, or chosen randomly.

That kind of messages might be a problem on crowded W17 servers.

My idea is to create kind of a queue: if player clicks to join, and someone else is leaving, pitting, whatever at the moment, server would put him in a queue until he is free to enter. That would eliminate nervous clicking etc imo

It's all LFS needs for now (IMO). Trucks in more distatnt future.

The hell with american muscle cars - they look and sound good, but they dont turn. Who wants a car with jelly suspension after all? illepall Also forget about pickups, people carriers and such :P

I have quite mixed feelings about new sounds. It's a promising step forward, but still there's much to be done.
- Engine sounds are quite similar and this boooooing soind is qiute irritating, especially in the less powerful cars. Even my car (11 year old cranky 80HP tank), when revved, roars quite a lot. LFS cars booo all the time. Reducing bass of your speakers helps a bit.
- Skid sound is way too quiet, even when maxed in options.
- Also i don't expect loud racing gearboxes in FR, TBO and LRF cars. So why they scream like hell then?


Gerbox, FOX and XRR sound are very nice, but BF1 sounds like vacuum cleaner.

I totally agree with Orion - we need roaarararrrrr, not booo I expect more violent sound in the future patches.

Name has to be short (max 2 words imo) and catchy, must sound good and fit into given examples.

"Oh My God What A Scary Quick Bend" does not. "Widowmaker" does, for example

Well, it did. I play with close to hardcore minimum settings and it is easy to feel any difference in fps. So please, bring the "clear sky" option back.

My opinion is:

1. Leave HL starting position as it is now.
2. Standing start with preheated tires.

In fact these are the best solutions I've found in this thread. Also it shouldnt be hard to code (if the temp is fixed).

Of course by "preheated" I mean "close to optimum", like 5-10*C below. It's up to Scawen to code either fixed or adjustable temperatures.

But definitely starting a HL with "blue" tires isn't good. They should be much closer to "green".
