On the top of my keyboard there are three media control keys; previous, play/pause and next. Is there a way to bind these keys? Something along the lines of /press media_next or something like that. I've tried a couple outsims but they don't work correctly
In cruise servers, I'll switch between being a cop and a civilian. I have four cop commands binded to my steering wheel, but those aren't very useful when I'm a civilian. Perhaps instead of changing the controls every time I switch, LFS could save different controls for different drivers (for me, between [COP] Nick and Nick)
Oh wow! I feel like an idiot. I have two folders that contain LFS and they're identical, so I would've never known. Of course my shortcut links me to the one I wasn't running Thank you!
Today I added 4 or 5 new skins to my lfs/data/skins folder, but when I'm in the game and try to load them on the cars, they won't load up like they used to when I click "New" under the skin list. I have the naming right (XFG_TRAFFIC is one) and I've uploaded them to LFS World so I don't know what could be wrong
I've been trying to make one script that will do two /say commands one after another, but whenever I make the script that way, it only does the first command. This is the script I put in
Do I have to put in a /wait command or something? I have scripts that use /press then /echo right after it and that works, but not this.
You might be lagging out from all the information being sent to your computer at the starting line, with everyone's cars revving and making the slightest movements.
It's not uncommon to lag out if the track or "time of day" is changed, either.
I actually like this idea. It is unrealistic that you can apply a constant brake pressure when ABS is activated, but there's no way that I know of to export the ABS information. +1 for me though.
P.S. - If the game know when to turn on ABS, why can't it put out that information to a brake pedal with FFB?
+1 on my part, and definitely with the pop-up headlights. However, I can see there being problems with skins and textures, as I myself have custom textures for nearly every car and just under 400 skins.
When you press your button to look left or right then press the other button, you can only see up to 90 degrees left or right. Why not increase the amount to say, 135 degrees? If you're merging into a race (or cruise), and you're not perfectly perpendicular, you end up look to the wall on the other side of the track. Rear view is equally as annoying since you look back toward the wall on your side of the track.
Perhaps there should be another setting; two-button look that can be adjusted from 90 to 135 degrees. It' be very useful.
