And here is the issue, LFS has reached that critical point when drivers look at the size of grids and say "nah."

Actually the ban is only pit to car. Drivers can still complain and speak freely from the car to the engineer.

We're only going to see a return of coded messages to drivers like we saw during the team order era. Although I disagree with Intrepid, I think it is a bit pathetic to hear Formula One drivers asking where they can improve during the race or an engineer like Rob Smedley asking Massa to brake a bit later or something.

Engineers in F1 are some of the best minds in the world exploiting a rule book on a technical basis, the FIA need to understand that and stop trying to create frivolous rules and focus on the real issues of the sport like Abu Double.

Fair enough, a completely justifiable reply.

It's a plausible theory - don't be an arse.

While I don't think this is why things are being delayed, it is certainly a creative and possible idea. Sure LFS is near dead now, it's been going that way for some time and it's really not 100% down to there being no updates. I've grown up on this sim, grown up with people my own age and unfortunately for LFS the entire generation has moved on. We're all at university, or living our lives, or settling down, it just isn't realistic to drive all day every day anymore. And those who do take it seriously have moved to where all the other drivers are - iRacing. And why shouldn't they? Regular updates, cash prizes, a decently run system, a professional outfit.

I'm sure some people will flame me or whatever, but we're a bit old for that now are we not? Let's say I enjoyed LFS while it lasted, had some of the best times of my life with the people here, all good things come to an end and I'll still pop in from now and then. I, as I am sure many other people, will be back in a flash should S3 come out and there be some regular updates.

Not a single mention of Team Vires or how close the fight was. Or that Morgan was sending you setups and helping you with them throughout the season. Cool. You're welcome.

It's a song by DJ Hazard, I'm guessing it's a remix of a song called "Never Feel The Same" however with DJ Hazard he keeps his songs exclusive for live sets and never releases them unless they go mainstream. Quick shout-out to Tom Ingram who is confirmed at Speedworks. This guy has put in so much effort since he was a kid, he was slightly older than me so I used to watch him race before I went out for my race and he was always at the front. Now he has his chance to mix it with the best in arguably the most competitive BTCC season for a decade.
