With all due respect I've been using mouse to play since I started and I think its perfect this way, if there are any changes made to mouse steering I hope there will be "legacy" mode as it is right now.

I didnt know where to post this and didnt wanna create another thread but would it be possible to have an option to delete all previous versions of all the mods (and only keep the current) from the LFS folder, since my LFS folder is over 25GB now and over 4500 subfolders in mods folder. I know its for replay compatibility but I feel like the folder would just keep growing and growing..

My sister has a Škoda Fabia with the 1.2l engine you mentioned, its awfully slow but not too bad as a city car. Hope we can see the VRS edition in the game too.

My favorite part is the ability to very quickly change cars, tracks, setups, also being able to see forces while in garage and setting up the car.

Im one of the weirdos who uses force viewer in garage when making a setup, it used to be shortcut F but now its a shortcut for front view, can we get another shortcut? Thanks

Hi there, it seems like there is an issue with a shadow, only wheels cast a shadow while body of the car doesnt.

Good point, if you have a vision of your mod keep it, dont change it, I suggested it without thinking the backstory.

I love this mod and looked for this thread to write same feedback as martin18 already did. Looks good and feels nice to drive, just bit underpowered and please allow other types of slick tires, its hard to keep optimal temperature of r4's. Smile

Can we get "favorite" button or similar in-game so it saves mods to a different tab, so you don't have to scroll or search thru all of them?

Quote from Scawen :I hope they will show up (as long as file names aren't too long - 19 characters max). The idea is to only save textures in the png folder. One good thing about the modeller is how multiple cutouts refer to a single page. So usually to change to a copied texture page you should only need to change that one name in "page" mode.

I figured it out, re-watched your modeller video, I was looking at wrong page

Quote from Scawen :The reason is in the message. Smile

You've saved the texture as a 32-bit texture, with R,G,B and Alpha channels. But the texture doesn't have the name _ALP - you are only requiring a 24-bit texture (RGB)

It is important not to save the alpha channel if you aren't using it (as you aren't in that case, I think). In-game textures with alpha channels use double the amount of memory.

We have heard of this issue when someone was using MS Paint. More advanced software is recommended.

By the way, it is advisable not to use the existing textures if you are changing them. Better copy and rename them to something else. Otherwise your existing XR may be messed up and it's possible the texture could be overwritten in a patch.

You were spot on, I was using photoshop but for that texture I used MS Paint to resize it. I understand now, thank you.
I reused the names because I had some issues with files with different names not showing up, Im still learning the modeller Smile

Quote from scania :y the gauge up side down?

The thing spends most of its time at high revs so placing it upside down gives driver better view where he is at, rather than wasting the space for revs that car is never at. I've seen same thing in Dirt Rally 2 with the VW Golf 2 and people always asked the same question

I was curious if increasing brake disc radius improves stopping power? Sorry if its in wrong thread, there are so many and its kinda confusing.

It was removed by Scawen because it encouraged people (including me) to submit mods where they haven't done much work but to the engine and other small changes. You can still play with UF1300 offline if you downloaded it.

Quote from PopnLochNessMonster :There's people that can read a room and then there's people asking for XRR engine swaps immediately after Scawen says that he's not looking for any off topic ideas.
Making the drift community as a whole look bad. None of my friends that I know want these ideas to be in the game (XFR Drift config and XRR V8 swap LOL)

I wont go too far offtopic here to keep the thread clean but I was saying some people are asking too much. I know its fun to give suggestions but its important to be realistic
