Quote from Mike85 :You dont have to agree with Scawen on everything.

this is the very problem with you. Usually most of the community agrees with Scawen because we both want LFS to remain kinda how it is, but with better Physics, Graphics etc - you seem to disagree with us on it,a nd then just call us Scawens lap dogs and disregard out opinions
Quote from Kaizu :What is up with that starter command thingo, Im completely lost, and tearing my hair out. WHAT THE F* DO I DO!?

what command thing?!

Now U know ONE BEST THING: VISTA CAN SUCK
i like
Thanks for the great work, Scawen
I will say it again and again.
Since Vista came out I see people having so many problems with it and dont know where to turn on/off things.

Even for me and I started in DOS ages the 1st time Vista was frustrating for me.Not really a straight forward to find something you really need to find.To be honest I formateted it after a week and went back to Windows XP.

I guess that some crash adress of DirectX dll file.
I hate vista too, but i've nothing else (except linux) .
Thank You very much devs , great great work , when I become a millionaire on the stock market I'll donate you all a nice car
Nice, thanks, hopelly some day be more cars
Thank you devs, this patch is good IMO it changed my driving view of racing in LFS.
Scawen teh best! Every Verson is a good version, next month ima get S2. =)
€: anyways my XFG is faster? O_o
Instead of 187 i'm driving like 190 on that long BL "Street"
Quote from DEVIL 007 :How often you need to download official patch....
It takes 2hours on modem connection so thats really not so bad if its once in a long time period.I dont see a problem with that.Look at other games patches with even hundreds MB.

Then those who have expensive connection just do not play them. When I paid for external traffic, I sticked to the LAN, got everything from there and thinking twice before downloading anything heavy.
Grats for patch, it works great and online play seems to be much much smoother than before (less lag for example).

The lfsworld wr-s won't be reseted for the cars which have added weight now? (For example xrt, fzr,...)
Thanks for the patch, and csimpok, the hotlaps will not be reset, because the weights are only a multiplayer balancing system.
Quote from Krammeh :meh.

Nice patch, but. A very very bad patch for cruise servers.

The repaired car on resets, suck. And turning off resets, just causes major frustration of the cruisers.

Anything possible to solve this?

LFS is an online racing sim first and everything else second. Sorry

...and short of using an older version, no.
Scawen, i just saw yuo updated the main site(or whoever did it )
i was wondering: will that background be up for download?
i want to see if i'm there, but i cant see it so good

thanks for patch X!

I understand you.It must be frustrating for manz people in Russia. We have been in same situation in Czech republic like 4 years ago.

Only 56K modem or WIFI with like 64/64kbit speed and bloody data limitation. No ADSL at all.We even dont have SDSL which would be having prize for average people.I guess it will get beter in Russia in next 5 years as well.

I have nowdays 100 times faster line(Cable modem)and 40GB data limit which is more then enough and what I pay against what I have paid for 56k modem or my 1st 192kbit ADSL is half of the price.

The added weight is only functional online. Offline, they're still as heavy as before making the current WRs fair.
