I guess nobody could help.....
Hey mate,

Nothing really sticks out. I am using the same rez on all 3 monitors so that might be the only other thing to try.

I am out of ideas to get this working

My only idea is that my secondary card is to "lowtech" to work with bloom somehow :/

Resolution should not be an issue, I guess I just need to get hold of a newer secondary card, it IS rather old :P

Tnx for your time looking into this

BTW: I tested your bloom config with same result as before, black main monitor
The secondary shouldn't matter cause it doesn't do any processing. I just use my onboard geforce 9300.

My bloom is unchanged as well so I don' think it is that. But maybe try switching off the AllowAntialias under [Global].

Also try an earlier version of Softth like 2.01.

Otherwise I reckon it has to be the resolution.

Just try setting them all to the same to see what happens.
Quote from Velociround :Well I have just read things about it on Microsoft's website and everyone there says the same thing.. I've never seen this error before

ENBSeries doesn't change anything on system folders, and it also doesn't change the registry nor it includes itself on the registry. Here's how it works:
the programs (executables) that uses directx always verifies for directx (and other kind of) dll's on its own folder, and then use the system dll's for loading directx and so on. If there's nothing on its folder, it just loads system's directx dlls. If there's a dll on its folder, it loads both system and custom dll.

The difference between the dll on the game folder and the dll on the system folder is that the game's one is exclusive. This means it is only used by that game/program, and the remain of the system uses the system ones. Race Driver GRID for example has the d3dx9_37.dll included in its folder by default, this means that this specific dll will be only used by GRID, and if any other game needs it, it will search on the system folder for it instead of using GRID's one. I hope that make sense

Well if you want I can upload my system file for you but I don't know if it would solve the problem I have Windows XP Home Edition here (OEM).

Hi velociround,

Try to follow these steps:

d3dx9_37.dll
This is because you are missing a file.
Step 1. You can download http://www.d3dx9.net/download-missing-d3dx9_37-dll/ here.
Step 2. Paste this file into your system32 and system folder. Also put it in your syswow
Step 3. Navigate to your System32(32Bit OS) or SyWOW64(64Bit OS) Folder.
Note: The location of System32 or SyWOW64 is
C:Windows\System32 (If you are using 32Bit Windows)
C:\Windows\SysWOW64 (if you are using 64Bit Windows)
Step 4.Paste the d3dx9_37.dll into this folder.
Step 5.Run the game. It might work now.

Hi! Well, thank you for your help and seeing the date you have registered on the forum it seems that you have registered for posting this and I really appreciate that.

Though I think you should know it wasn't actually me who was having problems, but another user who asked me for help after his computer stopped working (would not even boot). Apparently this was not his problem because he already had the DLL but he managed to figure it out somehow (I didn't have enough info on his problem to know what it was).
Your solution is still valid and valuable information for all kinds of missing DLLs, and some time ago (in 2008) when I needed this to make ENBSeries work I did just that and it works.

Thank you again for your time.

I recommend my settings on this page, you can get direct link and screenshots from my forum signature.

There are many different versions, some with stronger bloom and some with less bloom. The version I use on my pc is the "most realistic" one, with somewhat less bloom.
Great addon!
I say, this addon ROCKS!

After some twaking I believe LFS looks better (and of course simulates better already) than any simracing/simgame so far.

I've tried to capture how it looks on my screen, but for some reason not all effects are visible (I'm using fraps trial version). DOF is not visible at all, but despite that I've put video on youtube, HERE, HERE, HERE. And HERE Hope you like it!

Edit: I've managed to get higher fps, still with superior quality: example HERE still 100% as original, but close.
Nice, what settings do you use?
Does this addon work properly on ATi graphics cards? I have a Radeon HD 5770 and it seems like no matter how I change the settings, it is all the same.
I believe that actual final effect strongly depends on what gfx card you use. I use Nvidia, so don't know about ATI, sorry.

It takes a while to got nice, dynamic graphics effects without spoiling the gameplay - which LFS is all about.

Usually I use settings below, it behaves pretty awesome on my card, but I can't guarantee it works on yours

Also keep in mind, that I had to lower some graphics settings in LFS: screen resolution&anti-alias. On the other hand: full details, shadows, sky etc. Close to photo-real, I've got strongest in-the-game feeling ever
