Quote from Klouczech :I took part in another Carbonia Cup race on Autodrom Most and I borrowed GoPro HD HERO2 from my friend.

I was testing semi-slick tyres and you can see they are not good on the wet surface.
I know that my car is weak but its fun to drive it, especially in wet conditions.
Its just like XRG...

As you can see, some drivers overtook me under safety car period and didnt get any penalty even though I reported them.
Especially cars from my class S-2000 (Clio and FTO).

Nice videos, I like the wet weather ones, looks like great fun.

I've always liked the e30 318is, almost bought one on a whim on ebay a short while ago, except the seller was clearly an idiot. The vids make me want one again though.

Does yours have a cage of any kind?

Seems like an odd race class with some wide spread of machinery and talent. Probably more fun than simple track days though, until some fool locks it all up into t1 and restyles one side of your car.
NICE!
Very nice Petr, looks like a very slippery track (or rubbish tyres) but great fun!
I got me a convertable one of those. DOn't hink it's any good for racing though on account of it having no roof and about 200kg extra in stiffening. There are some track ready ones out there for a couple of K though.

If you like them and fancy a pop at one have a look at E30zone.net and check out the cars for sale. Some nice motors in there.

Thanks.

No, its expensive, heavy and not permitted on the streets (without homologation)

Yes, the real mixed class!

Tyres was slippery on wet surface but were quite good on the dry one.
Cheapest semi-slicks Regal Racer 195/50 R15 82V
Design of the car worked out quite well there, I expected it to roll instead of sliding on its side.

Read the discription to understand what is going on. In short the blue car was a contender for the championship, the other team had hired some kind of hitman, who waited to get lapped and then have a go at him. Pretty sick!

On a positive note; the guy got banned for life. (his team got no penalty and took the championship)

Don't go for the 320. It's a high comp, short throw, high revving lump that will drink your fuel and give you little back.

Go for a 2.5, which you can then stoke out to 2.8, or more if your racing. It's more torque and will give you more bang for your buck.

The 2.0 litre is not a well regarded engine. Seriously mate, go to e30zone.net and check out the engine threads. Seriously informative.
