okay now i got a black screen
i tried every single thing tweaked or not
i want my lfs back
(im running Z28)
If you feel it's the bloom mod that's stopped lfs from working, remove these files that create the bloom effect from the lfs game folder:

d3d8.dll
d3d9.dll
d3dx9_26.dll
enbconvertor.ini
enbseries.ini

If it still don't work - re-install LFS into a different folder. Next time you mod the game keep track of what you're doing.
I found out, that sometimes my bloom get all crazy, but ingame in options-graphics,
turning antialiasing off , and then back on or sometimes only at x2,
and then back on full, it turns on bloom again??? dunno why tho.

but thought it might help others with simular problems.. i use the settings in my previous post

I don't understand what you mean, but by what I could figure out by your post you said you have bloom ON on your settings but disable it on the game (default shortcut SHIFT + F9). After that, if you change antialiasing settings, the bloom goes back on.

If that's what you meant, the reason for the bloom coming back on is that the game reinitializes its graphics when you change antialiasing, and so ENBSeries has to load the settings file again (which in this case has bloom ON), so bloom just goes on again. To stop this from happening just disable bloom on the settings.
ENB series makes LFS look ten time crappier than it is...
I just use nHancer and in-game settings.

When used correctly, it makes LFS look 10times better.

But.. It's still personal taste
it doesn't work for me. lfs.exe does nothing when i put the file in the same folder. (i'm using z28)
well if it don't work then your graphics card can't handle it.

Have you tried shift+backspace or whatever the combo is to enable the bloom settings? I don't remember if the settings are on or off by default..

i can't even start lfs.
i press lfs.exe and nothing happens.
when i remove the 4 files, lfs works again.

i have a nvidia GTS 240 1Gb and a core i7 920
i can play lfs maxed out on 2048×1152 with more than 150fps
so that isn't the problem.
do you see a black screen when you start lfs? cause that means it isn't compatable, mine isnt either

Sorry for bump, but has anyone been able to get bloom work with softth?

The latest alpha test version of softth only use one file(d2d9.dll), is there any way of combining the two awsome mods?

Yep its working for me dude.

The enbseries.ini file has a proxy section at the top which lets you load another dll:

Just enable it by changing the 0 to a 1, and then rename your softth dll and list it under proxy library. Something like this:

Awsome, but now my main/middle screen is black when I start the game

Guess I need to see if I can fix something in the enbseries,ini file

Are you trying to run 1600x1200 in the middle and 1024x768 on the sides?

Do all 3 screens work when you disable bloom?

Yes, and the bloom dll is also running(green writing on top left when lfs starts)

My only idea is that my secondary card is to "lowtech" to work with bloom somehow :/

Resolution should not be an issue, I guess I just need to get hold of a newer secondary card, it IS rather old :P
