The online racing simulator
Quote from lukelfs :What?, so lets say u want a B700 car, U set it to that and it automaticly buys the parts needed to get to it? ??

Thats about the size of it, if you have enough money to buy the parts, the auto upgrade system will buy the "best" set of parts to take the car to the required level.

But it won't do anything to the "tune" (setup to you and me)

BTW, its optional, so you don't have to use the auto upgrade option.

ahh, kk, ty, but I dont see why its needed..
Why?, why is anything needed, its not needed, its just an addition there for people to use if they want to.

I have a sneaking suspicion its there to upgrade the AI to make them competitive in races, unlike FM2 where AI always drove stock cars.
Quote from lukelfs :ahh, kk, ty, but I dont see why its needed..

Probably just to make things quicker because you can upgrade pruction cars all the way up to R classes (race cars). Imagine all the button pressing if you wanted to buy a car and make it a Rxxx racer (as R class also have PI), it's just to speed things up.
Since I have a G25 around at home and a pile of money that wants to turn into a big TV and a gaming console I'd like to ask a question:
Did anyone figure out yet how to make an Xbox think the connected wheel is Microsoft licensed? I've read a lot about it on the Logitech forums and apparently you could theoretically find out which USB-vendor and -product ID the Fanatec wheel uses and then make a little chip that connects between Xbox and G25 and acts as if the G25 were a Fanatec wheel. Add some force feedback algorithms and you should have your very own non-licensed Xbox to rest-of-the-world adapter.

I'd really like to support Forza 3. They appear to be on the right track, but Microsoft's hardware licensing policy is a rather big obstacle.

Vain
Vain, I REALLY wish someone would come up with something like that.
Quote from batteryy :but later on when you start to buy games

Why would he buy crappy games for crappy console which Red Ring's of Crap every week.

Blimey, just how hard to you have to work at it to be this full of shit?
Quote from Eleanor SpeedGT : I better not write this but i have to say that my XBOX has worked without problems for 2 years now.

Because you used it in refrigerator or you live near penguins.

Quote from danowat :Blimey, just how hard to you have to work at it to be this full of shit?

to be fair mine has red ringed once a year every year since i bought it, but i now haven't touched it in 9-12 months, so i couldn't tell you if it's going for a third (last time they replaced ALL the internals with later gen stuff, runs substantially cooler now..)

Between my brother and I, our xbox runs about 7 hours on school days and up to 16 on weekends. Amazingly, the only problem that occurs is sometimes my brother loses the live connection. He thinks this is serious but it's really just me unplugging the chord behind the xbox because I'm tired of him screaming into the microphone for the last 8 hours straight.

Also, our xbox sits In a room a constant 3 or 4 degrees warmer than the rest of the house because of constant use.

ok by the trailer that someone posted in this thread all it looks to me is like just any other arcadei'ish "sim". Tire flex? so? the part where he drives is just plain arcade'ish to me. When he flips the car the car just doesnt behave right and flips itself back, just like in the old NFS versions (porsche challenge or whatever its called) I dont know what the fuss is all about, the graphics are good, nothing to complain about, but them saying that its a "simulator" I just think that word is just for more sales seeing that the simulation side of gaming is stepping up the bar. "bone-jarring physics" ok I want to see evidence o that

Good thing its just for consoles, nothing bothering for LFS atleast they could have made the rendered scenes realistic.
I have pre-ordered the LCE, I am such a Forza whore!!!!.

Can't see much else getting a look in once this gets released, I am really looking forward to the dynamic career
Quote from Danas :rant

Have you actually played FM2? We know it's not a true simulator but a very fun game to play! It's car porn for 360 as GT series is for Playstation.

As for LCE, can't you buy those cars in the peasant edition? I guess I order the normal version, don't like useless junk and those cars are not that tempting anyway.
Does normal Forza3 come with a content disc and a play disc, or is that just for the collector's edition?
