Its my first try making a skin, i have never used photoshop in the past and i made it relatively quickly.



In a close future i will try with another anime designs, be patient.

Thank you for answering. But so far I'm already familiar generating a skin template, which was the issue I was trying to tell to this particularly mod-car. = It doesn't have the shapes of the car for the skin-file.

But now when I scroll one page up, I may have to simply start creating skin-mappings for the car to finally actual have the skin-templates.

Hello skin creators!

I would like to offer you a chance to put your creativity to work - to create liveries that will be included as default skins with a mod.

First a little info about the mod - the FoRGE VERL 2022 is purpose modified Formula US 93 to be used in Race Green Events organized V8 Racing League,a league that used the original Formula V8 from 2015-2021 as it's car,featuring well prominent LFS racers as it's champions. This year the league starts a "turbo era" and uses a different car - more powerful car highly inspired by early 90ies Indycar,which is possible as LFS is now supporting user created cars. The new car of course has no default liveries to chose from yet.

This is where you can join the effort - create nice liveries using logos that are 100% allowed to be included in a mod (LINK to thread,lower is a post with link to fictional logos well known to LFS users). Suggestions are classic liveries known from original LFS cars (like LFSW or ScaViEr),but feel free to make anything else.



The attached skin kit with correct mod ID has black mask,wire frame and a descriptions layer for easier use,the attached VERL logo also can be used in skin,but not required (the mod has a league logo on overroll bar by default). The new season of VERL starts in 19th september,so the mod is planned to be unchanged at least from 17th september,which is practically a deadline for this request.

Best 3-4 skins from our point of view will be included in the mod - rest can still be used by racers if they like it,in such case upload will be required.

So I'm wondering why one mod doesn't have a car's shapes in the skin-file but it still works.

And I don't know how to put the shapes of the car in the skin.

The Skin Kits are all packed into an archive (rar) to save space. Once unpacked the files inside are PSD and compatible with most graphics software. The PSD kits are multi-layered for your convenience.

.rar file is an archive, you need to decompress it to access the files inside.

i recommend using 7zip for that, it's a nice freeware utility.(https://www.7-zip.org/)

While i can definitely recommend the Master Skinnerz kit an alternative is to create skin templates directly from LFS, in your garage navigate to the colours tab and click on 'generate skin template'
You can then copy various elements of the skin template and paste them into GIMP.

Good morning, afternoon, evening LFS users, my name is POLICE428, and I have a problem with creating my own skins, as I want to make my own skin for an upcoming racing series. I have downloaded the latest version of GIMP and the BF1 painting template from the Master Skinnerz website, as told on the pinned starting guide on this forum. However, I came across an issue when trying to import the .rar file into GIMP. Gimp does not recognize the file as something it can edit. So, I ask, is there a way to get this file to import, or can I use a stock file from the LFS download and overwrite its base decals?

I´d decided to tribute Carlos´ first win in F1 making my first skin. This is the car he competed in when he raced the Formula BMW European Championship.

I couldn't find any High School DXD Skins, so I made one.

Note that the skin is uploaded as XRT_RF-S_HSDXD.jpg so if you use the low res (1024) or high res (4096) you will need to rename it.
