Yes it was. Go for the TG episode and your eyes will dry up for laughing.

Great angle and perspective! I took the freedom and screwed the colours a bit ...

Quote from flymike91 :could you do it in light grey?

As I said, I'll do different colours, also light grey if you wish. I gave it a short try recently and it seems to work well with a lot of colours.

Glad you seem to like it.

Here it is in green, other colours will be following later.

Btw, Thunderhead, your one is really, really HOT!

Just a quick colouration done in Photoshop how it could eventually look.

Quote from Sponge :Looks really great =D Are you going to do other colors too?

Of course! I already started with it, just can't show you at the moment. The skin works brilliantly with other colours. I'm working on factory colours like Salsa Red as well as on colours from other manufacturers (Lamborghini's Balloon White for example).

Due to the fact nobody has done it before (at least not here :tilt I've tried it: Giving the Scirocco the look of the Iroc Concept. It wasn't too easy to find a good solution for the grille, but I think it works quite well this way.

A movie I've been watching for years on a regular basis ist "Hot Shots", although its kind of humour can longer be described as fully up-to-date ...

But back to topic, I recently watched "Shaun of the Dead" which was funny alone due to the strange faces a lot of the actors showed, but also the "story" was not that bad - I had a big laugh at the end especially.

Quote from tom0507 :I have added the fuel filler cap, central bonet vent and the fuel tank protection plate at the back. I tried it with the other bonet vents and carbon air filter cover, but they didn't look right.

I really like this skin and would like to refine it a bit adding some further details ... am I allowed to post the result?
The Scirocco - in real life

Hi folks,

this seems to be on topic but off topic as well, so here's the question:

How do you like the new Scirocco in real life? Has anybody of you tested it on the road yet and under real live conditions, or does anybody of you even own it? What about its qualities and disadvantages, handling, practicality and so on?

Ever since just looking at it it grows and grows on me and for the moment I could even consider it as my next car - as far as I could probably afford it.

Top Gear should have taken the Scirocco instead of the Fiesta for their normal, classic review - so now it's up to you to take the roles of Jeremy, Richard and James!

Yeah! I hoped that to happen: I no longer need to be angry about the collision of my Christmas holiday with the Scirocco's introduction. So I can be AFK for some days with a clear conscience!

To make it clear, I thoroughly back the decision of the devs and wait patiently. (Hopefully not until Christ-mess 2009. )

Quote from Flame CZE :I tried to compare real car to LFS one. Nice, almost the same.

Almost. The crucial difference I was able to spot is that the LFS one has a heatable rear window!

Everybody knows him - at least since the US elections - and of course, he's got his own car: Joe the plummer!

- Well, that's just for dropping the level a bit. And actually just for fun!

This one really hurts. Not only because of what it does to your ears, but also because I can't avoid seeing it as (un-)musical child prostitution AND surreptitious advertising for the airforce. (After that, you should think about the possible target group ...)

When I read this thread I feel forced to think back to a famous racing game from 13 years ago. It was called "The Need for Speed" (which I absolutely don't want to relate with today's NFS!).

As the holy Ur-NFS it featured the greatest open street "circuits" of all time:
Fast and fluent track sections meet tricky combinations, heavy ups & downs and confusing tunnel runs and narrow alleys, high-speed Autobahn runs meet heart-stopping coastline races on hanging roads, with the cliff just centimetres beside you.

There wasn't anything like that in the past 13 years, at least not with the relatively realistic physics and original racing that TNFS had at that time.

Please bring this feeling back.

Quote from Amynue :Good enough?

That's a pretty nice start.

But what about adding the bit more Black the Lambo has around its "eyes" which could make them looking even more aggressive? And have you tried to add the fog lights / indicators below? That'd look even nicer I think.

Sorry for stealing your time; I'd do it myself if I had all the stuff here ...
