Quote from Cornys :I did state that inside was right

Yes I saw that on the chat, but I had no idea what it meant, and I guess there were more than me that didn't know that :detective I might have missed that part in your rulebook ...

So with "inside is on the right" you mean that the leading car is starting on the right side (inside lane), so all the odd cars should be on that side, and even on the left side?

Thanx Corny and the other admins for a great Event

As expected I did quali on the last row on the grid so I was rather layed back in my expectations gaining any positions.
But my race speed was obviously better, ended up 16:th, he he nothing to bribe about, but I'm pleased with that

Had some really fun fights with the pack around me, so imo it was a fun event.

One thing that needs to be improved thou is the pacecar behaviour and double file starts. In the second half of the field it was totally chaos, we had no idea on which side to position our car, and when the green flag was announced cars were panic breaking everywhere cus the pack ahead were stuck

Corny, at start/restart, pls tell which side to place odd and even cars on, then I think it will be much less confusion, and no panic breaking in the end ...
And I really wonder if some of u who span out during the pacecarlaps have read the rules, it clearly states that you loose your position then, and have to rejoin safely wherever you can ... you are not supposed to flash, honk and hit cars ahead of u in anger to regain your lost position ... that position is lost if you mess up when warming tires.

1 stupid Q now cus I cant get the information anywhere in this forum!
What's the maximum cars on the grid at the race?

EDIT:
One more Q :-)
At the tracker there's a link called "Spotters guide"
http://www.ident-racing.net/RN/
So I checked out myself on that and it says this:
car 55, Sweden M.Sjöblom Team Vires

Well, I hope i got a good contract with em ... to my knowledge I'm one of the founder of IRM and Cawwa (listed beeing in IRM) is still my team mate ... I hope ;-)

Had a really bad start ... did a jumpstart and got a drive trough

But after that everything turned from worse to great. Manage to chase the pack in front of me and after aprox 10 laps I began to fight Arbarb ... and it lasted to the very last meters before the checker flag

Think we switched positions over 10 times, both were driving better when chasing and made stupid mistakes while in front. On the very last lap Arbarb did a small mistake in the last chicane so i got speed enough to barely pass him before the line

And THANKS A LOT to troy, who was blueflagging us, but like a true gentleman waited us out until he won and got the checker flag, so we could continue our fight to the very last lap

As usual Hasse saved my evening with an excellent set

Really fun race, specially in the first 15 laps when I had some nice battles with different drivers, lost most of them thou

I were fairly consistent, except for a strange habit of missing gears in the last lefthander before the front straight. Lost some positions on that behaviour Didn't reach top 10 but not crashing out in South City is good enough, specially with this fast car

Next week I'm vaing the admin task, have choosen FE Classic open config with the FXO ... we gonna burn Fern Bay down then

FUN race, except for lap 1 where I first slightly hit Weaver in T1, and then spoiled the race for Imprez Lost the car after the bridge when i got 2 wheels in the sand, spun out on track and hit Imprez who unfortunately ended up on the roof truly sorry for that Imprez, I know the frustration u get when someone take u out on lap 1 ...

Rest of the race I had great battles with Imphy, Weaver and most of all Lönn.
I don't know how many times me and Lönn switched positions, u were faster for sure, but I was more consistent for sure, and that paid of in the end on the very last lap Loved that last try u did on me in T1 on the very last lap, dammed I was so scared to crash you (having imprez in mind), so i decided to back of in the very very last moment, hoping u would fail in the next corners ... and so u did . Great try thou

Thanx all of u for GREAT racing, really think TR has taken some steps forward with all u non Swedish guys joining us every Thu Tell your friends about this event so it gets even more crowded with 32 cars on the grid :-)

I also thought that Sjoblom would catch me but then he was missing ...

Yepp, dammed I had u both in the middle of the race, was going for a hit on Mange on the goal strait and got one feet of my rear on the grass and lost it all in a huge spinn ending up in the wall .. lost 17 sec then
I was sooooooo pissed of at my self then for not waiting and playing it safe ...
Well, I guess those moments makes it so fun with sim-racing when u succeed instead of loosing it

Fun race tonite although I lost my gained positions right after start due to following car ahead out on the grass ... even think it was my teammate H.Melin who tricked me out on the grass, bet he was pissed on me since i outbreaked him in T1
Then I chased down Mange and some other guys ahead ... but I lost it again by spinning all around and ion the grass and into the wall after the last chicane

Started the chase again 17 sec behind and almost made a pass on Mange at the last lap, good defensive driving there Mange One or two more laps and I think I had worn u down and passed u

Thanx all racers for fun and clean racing, saves me a lot work with minimum of protests

Woow, 30 racers on the servers (or more?) Loooooooooong time ago since that happened. Well that also saved the event, had been boring on this long track with few attenders. Now it was the opposite, GREAT start on the new season

Had some nice company and fights, some of them were lost, some won. Sorry Imphy for passing on the inside on the oval, I just miscalculated the draft and nearly crashed you so i had to dive to the pitlane to avoid a disaster... well hopefully u are ok with it since i gave your position back later on the oval :Handshake

Q26, goal was to finish 10 places better, 17:th so I almost achieved my goal. Think most positions were gained due to other drivers mistake thou

Must skip next event, will be out drinking beer then, so cu in 2 weeks :drink:
... think I will be the admin then so I have to come up with a good combo ... any suggestions?
sjoblom

Great combo, had som fun racing for sure.
Managed to stay out of serious trouble, no major damages on the curbs
This season was kind of "off season" since I had DNS on 75% of the races, next season will be less DNS for sure

Ronus,
we had a hard battle at the back strait, imo it was hard racing resulting in a racing incident ... maybe we both were a little bit over the edge ... ... but I sure didn't do any wrecking on purpose so no hard feelings pls my friend :Handshake

oki, cu all next season

A Friendly Reminder from the Admins about chat in race :-)
sjoblom
S2 licensed
We have not banned chat during race since we think that in a friendly event like this, it must be ok to do some smiley's, say sorry or shorties like "Good pass, Good fight, Good race".

But conversation chat during race is not really ok, because it's disturbing drivers that are still in race. So please save your conversations on the chat until the checker flag is waved.

The reason for this, is that we want as many drivers as possible to keep the chat open during race, more fun then

OK!
All drivers agree?

We have added this to the rules on this page

This is a race to forget
Had a lag crasch i T1 lap 4 resulting me slamming the wall and wrecking the car totally. Luckily the other car got out of it undamage.

Like the combo so I decided to try to reach the pit inspite of everything 100% orange when hitting F10
Lost 2 laps limping in to the pit with max 30mph. Repaired the car and wen out on the track again. Had fairly good speed and rarely no mistakes ... then ... OUT OF FUEL on lap 15, I had calculated fuel totally wrong in my head :jawdrop:
Well, luckily im not "in" this season, it all starts at season 27

Due to my lazy updating on lfsforum.net I missed KY500 this year ... man I was soooo mad at myself then
