Marcos fault.

Ray couldnt go any lower, he went so low as to stay away from marco whos squeezing him down, he got 2 wheels on the apron, resulting in what we saw.

Regardless, its a racing incident.

Quote from GHOSTRACER1 :Why should we have respect towards Iracing devs about the NDA after what they did to the modding community?

It isn t our business...

The NDA is only here to cover the fake sim-revolution hyped by Iracing since years.

Get over it. go outside, enjoy the fresh air, realise what matters in life and move on.

Quote from CobraDrifter :I think this game will be the most pricy video game EVER made considering you buy the new content + monthly subscription.I don't see the reason under the monthly subscription for a racing simulator :S.They even make you pay for the demo...oh god.If they continue like this, they should make the website access 5$/month.An official forum?2$/month.I can understand monthly fees for an MMORPG but for a racing simulator....

Dont be hating just because iracing isnt idrifting.

Think about the amount of $ that it takes to maintain servers on a continental level to supply the demand of the online aspect of the sim, not to mention constant development and expanding aspects. You want it all for free?

If eric has been overwhelmed with doing gtr cockpits and one car, plus a few track tweaks for 2 years, then a whole new car will take at least a year

*insert grains of salt*

How about taking care of the ROOT OF THE PROBLEM, implement proper damage, a car cutting the chicane like that would definitively damage something pretty badly, so it should aswell in LFS, that would help tremendously in fixing a ton of spots people enjoy cutting.

what do you expect? we humans can only hold an interest in a stagnating puddle for so long.

That would be different if scavier started pouring some fresh water into it full of colorful and highly detailed fish with nice tropical beach like decorations.

Quote from March Hare :Not this shit again.

Drifters go to the drift servers.

Racers go to the race servers.

Those who do both choose a server according to what you want to do now.

About the speed thing.
Fastest way around any track is a slight four wheel drift. Unfortunately this chews up your tyres very quickly and requires very much consentration so in a race you can't do that.

wrong.

The fastest way is to keep the car as straight as possible, everytime you loose traction on the rear wheels, its forward motion that is lost longitudaly, loosing that little bit of speed. It might be usefull in rallying, but not road racing.

Quote from deggis :That's SimBin, this Ferrari game is from Blimey Games (most of the "old" SimBin, before the team split). In Autosimsport they said it's not ISI-based but "it uses suspension stuff and some other aspects of the ISI engine", whatever that means...

thats marketing speak for yes, it does use the isi engine as a base for the physics.

I thought this was a "state of the community", not a "state of LFS" (read: "needlessly bitch about patches again") discussion? Or have I taken the original post a little too literally?

Quote from XCNuse :You realize there are compatibility issues between each modeler. Each modeler has his own style, my style is different from Phonso's, Rmuchacha's is different from mine, and everyone's is different from Eric's. There are severe balance issues when you allow model editing or additions. Poly count goes a far way with LFS apparently, and if someone isn't so great at modeling and puts a ton of polys that aren't needed in a model, that becomes a heavy object. Eric's models are balanced because they are all his, and he has his own style, if you mix styles you get plenty of issues between any object.

True, but theres also modeling guidelines and tech specs... anyways, have a few modelers is better then 50 modelers, it helps maintain continuity in the models, thus not making it seem like one car belongs in pgr3 and the other in test drive 3 :P.
