Should the driver who set the fastest time in Pre-Qual be the same driver who I appoint for official quali sessions on Sunday?
Assume driver 1 is the fastest in pre-qual. I appoint driver 2 for offical quali. Then driver 1 and driver 2 takes part in race. Is this allowed?
Interesting, similar birds eye view, though driving experience will surely differ due to the different direction, gradient, corner radius, and corner entry speed. Come to think of there is a slight resemblance between Westhill and Kyalami
Hey even now we can drive in the part shown in the second picture, we have to cram our car into the gap between fence and mountain, then we can go to the lawn outside that house but ya should make that open accessible road
Sure Cornys, no problem, thanks to you and your team members for taking time in the midst of your engagements and organising these races. Appreciate it
Funny thing is even though many people do not like his video/drift skills, ironically because of the same reason its becoming a hot topic. This thread would not have been this hot if his drift was "good" LOL! I too am adding to the popularity of this thread with one more reply.
To the OP, at least you could have selected spectator camera view. The follow view is not aesthetically pleasing And probably you could have posted drift video of say RB4, it will stay in drift forever
MJL1966, glad you found fewer asshats at AMG, but mocking and passing sarcastic remarks on the people like me (and everyone else who replied to this thread with +ve comments) who are trying to help you out is not appreciated.
Sadly these hacks are being used by many people, for quite sometime, especially on demo servers where even if banned they will come back in new account after 10 minutes . Hope it is disabled somehow
First of all I don't get why I am stuck driving slower cars just because I don't have enough rank in that particular server. It's NOT like I have never drivern FXR at AS3 before, just that I am new to this server. It is bad for both other people and himself that one is forced to use a slower car which one may not comfortable with. I am not arguing with the procedure or rules, but can anyone enlighten me why as to why there is this restriction of class by rank?
Yes it happens when many servers give u "Can't reply" Two things you can try.
1. Try setting the filter to a particular car and then Refresh. It seems to show up previously missing servers atleast for me. (Example, I see 4 servers which run FXR when no filters are applied, but say I can see 8 when I apply FXR filter and search only those).
2. Login to LFS World at www.lfsworld.net . Click on "Racers and hosts online" It will show up almost all the servers.
Also I would like sort order based on % in addition to absolute difference in "Racer details" in Hotlaps. Absolute difference is kind of misleading. For example one could do a really good lap of KY3 in UF1 and have an absolute difference of 3 seconds(1.5%) to WR. On the other hand one could do a bad lap of KY1 in BF1 and have a difference of 2 seconds(6.4%) to WR. But the sort will list the KY1/BF1 lap first because it has lesser absolute difference. This is where % becomes accurate as it automatically takes into account cars/tracks variations. I really needed this feature when I wanted to see which are the hotlaps I needed to improve the most.
Dude, check out our replies to your previous threads, don't give up now, you are missing some great fun, Come to ![amg] gti motorsport today. Tell me when you are coming, I will be there, and make sure you are well treated
Read his post, he uses false start so that the server (it is configured that way in many servers) takes him back to pits, so that he can start from back of the pack. That's what he has been doing lately so I said either use that or go to the edge of the track and drop to back of the pack. My main point was to try dropping back of the pack in some way or another. And I am not just inventing this. When I started out many people in servers advised me the same (dropping back to the tail), so that with the T1 fear out of the way, you can concentrate on controlling the car and THEN once you are comfortable you can race with the pack. How else do you expect him to take BL1 T1, with a PB of 1:41.xx and with early braking etc? This was a temporary solution till he is confident.
Do you have any other solutions?
Also there is another post by him, where he says AI rams him from back etc. So he is new to this, and he is learning. Racing with the pack to T1 is the least of his problems now. Having said that a better solution is to flash "Learner, pls be cautious while passing" at the start of the race, as I mentioned in my previous post. Any good/experienced driver should understand this message flashing and support such a person, I know I would.
