Its not recommented to use interpolated resolution though, it will look very unsharp even if the interpolation is as very good.
So if you want to run LFS at that res you need to either try to find out if its somehow possible to use pixel doubling in the driver (like in FEAR), or get a faster computer that can run this high resolution
Take a look at the footer line of the main menu. unlocking for Vista was added only at patch U7 or something, so its very likely you are using a patch that cant unlock on Vista.
349 errors at w3c validator, 576 including warnings and infos (automatic doctype detection)
When I set to XHTML 1.0, I get 1127(!!) errors.
lol, they are complete noobs... not even a doctype declaration, they don't even know how the correct syntax for a comment is.
its always a good idea to post a link, or the actual source code, because you never know if the css is actually applied correctly in those websites where you just enter the css into a form, and some php script does the rest.
anyway, the CSS is far from being valid, so I guess thats the problem. Im just wondering why it works on your machine, maybe the php parser tries to correct the code to make it valid, which seems to be less powerful than the browser bug correction.
this isnt valid aswell, makes no sense in both semantic and syntactic way:
.sidebar
.sidebar ul { lalala }
the first .sidebar is just placed somewhere in the pampa...
First of all, you should start using correct color values: #RRGGBB not RRGGBB
--------[EDIT]--------
I've now made it valid, but I doubt it does what you want... you should really study the CSS syntax first before experimenting randomly, apparently by copying the stuff from various places
I liked the setup option simply for handling reasons, it was quite powerful.
The fixed reboud damping thing also makes good setups way more difficult to create :/
The westhill hemi is a bit small in the top right corner (black area), but I love those pics
See them soon in the ZT gallery
btw.
Kid, your page seems down forever, may I host that page for you? I mean, I have saved most of the pics somewhere on my disk, just need to find them.
Damn I need to make some script that can add pics automatically to the ZT gallery :|
You are not allowed to change most controls settings as well (for example brake help on/off, or from keyboard to wheel).
This is maybe the only way to avoid the usage of different settings as an advantage, and the only way to have consistant stats on lfs world.
suggestion: put a big and red "replay is not being recorded" in the top right corner of the screen, where the hlvc messages are.
Running over nicht might not be a good computer, because ram can get quite hot when its stressed a lot for a very long time, and it doesnt like being hot.
So 12 hours or something might be a bit extreme if you have a crappy cooling
Usually its not a problem though, but I dont want you to burn down your house while your sleeping
Hmmm 102 votes, that isnt really representative is it?
What are your plans vic?
@Stalker:
show me the code
The is no reliable cross-browser way to implement v-align via CSS in XHTML. There are many different approaches, but the only one that works on all browsers is a crappy hack which will only work for basic content of the centered div. Put an iframe in it and it's cut in the middle in IE6.
Additionally I have not tested anything in IE7, which might be a struggle aswell...
Im talking about a solid v-align that will not require new hacks for each little browser update. Afaik, this doesnt exist in XHTML. I'd be glad if you have some magic code though
anyways, when such a cresh happens, you should click the blue link and find the Crash Adress, the image above doesnt provide any info. Or can you post a way to reproduce it?
please try to describe the problem in a detailed way in the bugreports section, its really a shame because lfsw is "supposed to be used" with FF
(not just because things are way faster there, its just.... firefox )
I don't think Eric's major skills are modelling. His tracks are so much fun to drive, which is baisically the main reason why LFS is such a damn good game (in addition to the brilliant netcode of course)
His modelling is quite nice though
