All those reviews only drive single players, it irks me indefinitely. There was one guy that made a review and raced a bit of multiplayer.

I'd like to see a reviewer take his time, train up a bit and join one of massive races we have. No one wants to get LFS to play against AI, so its shame that none of the reviews shows how much racing online LFS actually gets.

So basically, the problem is that LFS in F12 menu, takes front tyre values for rear tyre changes. Your scope for rears is same as scope for fronts.

But every consequent pitstop will result in LFS trying to do a setup change, although you didnt change anything. As its trying to do a 188, any you have 165.

And because it moves by 5, you cant get back to 165. If you go back to for instance 163 (doable from 188), and pitstop then, after that pitstop it will still show setup changes requested, and do a setup change on next pitstop. IT will change nothing, but it will do a setup change.

So, as we are 6 days before round 2, i have 3 clarifications of the rules. I will post them here. They were discussed during last 2 weeks in team discord channel.

1. Blue Flags - a blue flagged car is expected to not interfere with lead car race. It is not allowed to block a lead car. If a lead car comes into situation where he has your draft, you are expected to let him overtake.

2. Fastest lap points belong to the driver that sets the fastest lap. Fastest lap points dont count for a team standings.

3. To adhere to RULE 2 of main rules, you need to change tyre type in pitstop from laps 1 to 5 laps before end. You are not allowed to do whole race on R1 R2 setup, and you are not allowed to pit from the start.

as for 2020 update - yes people still play this game.

AA runs a nice pick up racing multiclass server where you can race with randoms and have fun.

If we check the calendar, every day there is minimum of 1 big race, some days even 3. If you got a job, a wife or girlfriend, and any semblance of social life, and still want to be competitive when you drive, its hard to imagine driving in more than 2 or 3 of these weekly events, because you need to invest some time in practising also.

But basically, LFS has enough action to keep you busy good 3-4 hours per day. Considering that the game was considered dead 10 years ago, its not bad.

The server will be passworded tommorow and password sent out to all participants. Due to server problems in last hour (ironic eh), I will allow even cars without time to participate in the race, if they wish to do so.

Daily morning update : 59 racers signed up. 28 cars, with only 21 car setting a lap time.

If you want to drive in round 1, sign up in next 14 hours, and drive a lap on the track. For people that didn't set a lap, do it today until 20:00 CET.

I will post updated table in 10 hours. Then another one 1 hour before deadline. Don't think your time is safe, we were in this situation before. In last few hours you can fall from safe laptime to P33.

Axis speed is how fast your pedal reacts i guess. For example, set clutch pedal to have values only from 999 to 1000, instead of -1000 to 1000. In that way, every slight press on clutch pedal will show 100% clutch, while depres will immediately be 0% clutch. Faster than using normal axis.

Here you can submit your high quality skins for use in Fragmaster Fox Endurance series.

Fragmaster team will be starting an endurance race series with a Formula XR car in Live for Speed. Races will be between 3 and 6 hours long.

EVENT SIGNUP
There will be a general series sign up through league website. LINK:SIGN UP. In case you are unable to use LFS website, we will accept sign up from Fragmaster Discord. You sign up for whole series, but you dont have to drive all races.
For every Round, there will be a prequalification. Entries for a round will be selected by compiling a table of fastest laps per driver on FM FOX Endurance server, with help of Airio and its !top list. Only lap times of signed up players will count. A table with entries will be published periodically. A prequalification period will end 2 days before Round start, on Thursdays at 20:00 CET. On Friday a list of entrants will be published with server password protected and password sent to all participants.
We allow team and solo drivers. You can change your time from round to round.


EVENT SCHEDULE
Qualifications start at 15:00 CET - 20 minutes open qualy for every round except last one. On KY1 there will be 1 outlap, 2 hotlaps qualification, cars going out 1 by 1, with no tyre heating allowed. Any attempt at tyre heatup in pitlane will result in back of the grid penalty.
After Qualify is over, we will have 10 minute break with timer set up for start of race. All racers should stay in pitlane as a verbal and text recap of rules will be done. Once the timer runs out, race will start, so make sure you are on the track and no spectated.
Race will start at 15:30 CET, except for final round where it depends on length of qualy.


RULES
1. DRIVER NAMING - naming convention will be like this : NUMBER_OF_CAR followed by optional TEAM_NAME followed by DRIVER_NAME. Example: 22 [FFM] Number. All car numbers have to be in bright colour. All drivers in same signed up team have to wear same car number.
2. In every race, you will need to use two different tyre compounds. You will need to use both compounds before leader starts last 5 laps of the race. In case you fail to do so, you will be DISQUALIFIED from the race results. All drivers will be notified about that repeatedly during the race. There is no limit on how many laps you have to run on any compound. All three compounds for FOX are avaible to pick, R1, R2 and R3. We will have to check this tyre usage manually during the race, so we expect drivers to adhere to this rule. It is enough if you use differrent compounds only on one side of the car, front or rear!
3. Only one driver per team can qualify. The driver that qualifies, has to start the race.
4. Races and qualify will start on time, so be there. We will not wait. On race start, be carefull, because we will not restart. Remember : COLD CAR HEAVY TYRES
5. Bump drafting is not allowed. If we see you, you get a DT penalty.
6. In case of flipping the car, or getting stuck in sand, type RESET in chat, admins will allow car reset for you and award you with stop n go penalty (beware, that means you have to stand still in pits for 10 seconds). You are allowed to spam RESET.
7. In case you lag out, rejoin, contact admins. You will get your lap count back, going by last finished lap.


COMMUNICATION

STANDINGS
We will publish points standings after every race for each driver and each car (differentiated by car number). In case of a multi driver team, all car drivers get same points as car deserves in standings.
Points awarded are :
1st place - 50 points
2nd place - 40 points
3rd place - 35 points
4th place - 30 points
5th place - 25 points
6th place - 20 points
7th place - 17 points
8th place - 14 points
9th place - 11 points
10th place- 9 points
11th place- 7 points
12th place- 5 points
13th place- 3 points
14th place- 2 points
15th place- 1 point
Bonus points are awarded for Highest climber (5 points), Pole position (5 points) and Fastest lap (10 points).
We will also track the highest climber statistic, based on number of places gained by a car from his starting point into the race to his finish point. This excludes qualify, so it is possible to take points for pole position and highest climber. The driver with highest number of accumulated highest climber stat will get a series end reward.


AWARDS
1. For a winning car - a 6 months LFS server rent with airio pro. Server will be owned by Fragmaster team, but a winning car and its main driver (the driver holding the series sign up for the team) will receive full acess to server configuration and will be able to run it how they want it.
2. For a winning driver - 20 euro Steam Gift card send to winners Steam account.
3. For a driver with highest climber stat during season - Organization of a special event to this drivers wishes. You will be asked to specify Car, Track, length of the race and qualification style. Length and Date of this race will be organized in cooperation with Fragmaster team. A livestream with commentary will be provided for this race. A server and administration team will also be provided.


RACE PROTESTS
All race protests will have to be posted in Discord, fox crashes channel.

I think the skill level comment is wrong.

Back in 2010, 2011 - a certain fellow called Maunokasa dominated Fox Friday races. And i mean dominated, almost lapping whole field and winning every race. Now, although he is posting same times as before, he has to fight in leading pack.

AS3 used to be won with 1:47.0 laptime. Fastest lap on AS3 this year was 1:46.3x

Field as a whole is alot faster these days. And they have to be, otherwise they dont even qualify in top 40.

I also use it on windows 10, i dont even remember it being an issue to run it.

Fragmaster partnered with Sim Broadcasts for broadcast of our 10 year Fox Friday anniversary 3 hour race. I think it lifted the profile of the race, giving it better overview of action and knowledgeable commentary. As a big bonus, race is avaible for later viewing, so it stays as a nice memory.

The crew is professional and easy to work with, I recommend them to anyone wanting to give their league or an individual race a bit bigger reach and higher profile.

Also, i would like to add. We react much faster if you post complaint in discord, Fragmaster channel, gti section, crashes and complaints subsection.

While I personally like the idea you posted, I'm not sure there would be anything jereloco would learn from. As for your accident, we think it is racing incident, fault for which lies on jereloco. It was overly optimistic, kind if high risk move that is awesome if it works out, but if it doesn't its a crash.

Jereloco has been put on 1 month probation period, during which his all races with Fragmaster will be reviewed and if we do not notice an improvement in his driving and he keeps crashing he will get a race ban.

A friend told me about it, so we raced demo in 2006. I had a Saitek gsmepad and really bad pc (pentium 3 667 mhz with gf2 mx), so LFS didnt run the best.

In 2008 i got a new PC (core 2 duo with radeon 3850), so decided to check up on all games that i couldn't run before. After few days of demo driving, i got s1 and entered a CTRA race...i think i got kicked for crashing out in way of leaders. LFS wasnt easy for begginers. Then i got S2, joined fox junkies server, had a good race with guy named Nicotine and decided to stsy there. From there on just gained more and more connections inside the game.

Sometimes i wake up at night and cry at the fact that we cant race fox friday on old westhill.

I would fully support the ability to have old tracks avaible still. I have a suspicion that new tracks will be littered with sausage kerbs, especially Fern Bay.
