Quote from geeman1 :Nope. But I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work. The GPU does not know (or care) if there is a HDMI-HDMI or HDMI-DVI cable attached to the HDMI connector. The signal is exactly the same.

Unless you are using the wrong DVI connector with the HDMI connector. The HDMI connector has shared circuits with the one of the DVI connectors, so only one of those works at the time (afaik). Have you tried plugging the DVI cable to the other connector?
Or have you checked if the HDMI connector works at all?

Got the hdmi extender adaptor in this morning.
Long answer short - doesn't work.
You can get 2 screens working with any combination of displayport, hdmi & dvi.
But connect a third screen and it just doesn't work. The display screen doesn't get a signal at all, doesn't even recognise that there is a cable attached.
So looks like the only way to get it working on 3 screens, is to get a displayport monitor or get an active displayport adaptor.

Quote from geeman1 :Thanks. I forgot about that one.DVI and HDMI are signal compatible. Only thing you lose is the sound.
Actually I am using one of those adapters at the moment and can confirm it works.

Yes, but are you using it with an ATI 5 series GPU, using the displayport, dvi port & hdmi-dvi adaptor, to give you triple-screen?

I've actually got an hdmi extender due to arrive myself, so will be able to see if it works when it does.

For no3, you also either need to have 1 x Displayport monitor, or an active displayport to dvi adaptor, which costs approx $100 at the moment.
You might get away with using an hdmi-dvi adaptor, but I haven't seen anyone confirm that that works.

I think the general rule would be:
If your fast enough to pass and pull away, then yes. Go ahead and unlap yourself.

Oh I'm all for the Admins making the decisions. It's several people on here, who seem to be arguing over protests that have be made.
Why not let the protests be made, and not comment on them, and as said, let the Admins make their decisions. If you really want to 'discuss' protests that have been made, discuss them privately with the team/teams involved.

Quote :“Any Measure of Overlap” is defined as the front of the overtaking car being level
with or beyond the rear quarter-panel of the overtaken car (for tin-tops) or rear wheel
(for single-seaters).

Now at which point, "before," #11 turned in to the corner, had you achieved overlap?

The Pentium 4 and Athalon are older processors. They might run faster on a purely GHz rating, but newer dual core / quad core processors can do more with a slower clock speed.
Your system should be more than adequate to run MW2, assuming you have a decent amount of RAM in it.

I've had similar issues with win7 and finding files.
Make sure when you do a search, that you make it search the entire hdd, and not just those parts of it that are being indexed.
I've been able to find files by searching for them, which I still can't see if I navigate to the containing folder by the more normal method.

Quote from CSF :Hehe well he did a great job in the FXR showing if driven well it can be up there in GTAL just like last season. *cough balancing debate coming up cough*

Well, he might have been doing well, but his best in quali was still a good bit adrift of the best FZR's. And we reckoned he'd maybe manage 42-43s in the race, where some of the FZRs were down in the 40s, and even 39s.

We were hoping to finish in the top 10 for this race and hopefully be the top FXR, shame it didn't work out.

Quote from CSF :and I was preparing to say what a great job Scott McKenzie was doing in that FXR... then I saw him coming into the track going 20kmh right infront of 2 SRS and another car that were coming up side by side... yeah that was just pure stupidity of the highest order.

Yeah, Scott was really cut up about that incident. He couldn't believe he'd been so stupid as to totally misjudge how much time he had to get across the track and away from the racing line before the next cars came through.
When he reliased he wasn't going to be able to get out of the way in time, he hit Shift/S to quit the race, but it didn't spectate him until after the accident had already taken place.

I understand he's watched the replay now and has made his apologies to the appropriate guy/s.

Make sure the permissions on the folder are set to give everyone access, so the app can write to the files to change the settings.

It's a skin I got from Vilante a while back with a view to changing the colours while retaining the base design.
The jpg posted needs to be updated though, since Vilante's title layer got missed out.
I've also asked him to make us a completely new skin as well, so hopefully this one will just be for the test event.

No, UBCD is a downloadable ISO file which you simply use a CD burning program of your choice to burn to disk.

If you can download the ISO and burn it to CD, then boot from the CD.
There's a variety of tools on the disk to use from that point.

try chdsk /r, instead of chkdsk /f
I usually get better results that way.
