Why not look at doing both?
If the numbers are there for both, and there are people willing to organise each of them, then do both, if not do the most popular one.
As long as the schedule works out, there's the posibility of getting enough people who can do one or the other, or even both of them.

I know for some people the cost will be a big factor in whether they can go or not, but for others it will simply come down to 'when and where'. So if the discussions and 'arrangements' keep going for now untill it gets to the point of actual money being spent, then why not look into more than one option?

Perhaps add them back as an extra page you can get to from the graph?

Replying a bit late though, because i just had to change the race results on lfsworld after i saw our results sheet at the karting place
I liked that graph very much. You can tell a lot from it; pitstops, takeovers, when you had accidents, which laps were above or below average, best laptime, worst laptime, etc. Much better than just a load of laptimes displayed as big slabs of text.

Aaaaawwww, and here I was hoping, on first seeing the small pic in your post, that you'd added the Karting results onto LFSWorld for all of us

Nice update though

DVI-D is digital
DVI-I is integrated, ie. both digital and analogue

I don't think ATI use the DVI-D format at all, prefering to use the DVI-I format.
You should be able to get a dual-link DVI-I cable though.

After the whole "it's cheaper to buy this lager than to buy bottled water111!!!" debate in the press I thought i'd try some - it's like drinking Weasel Piss

And I suppose you'd know exactly what that taste's like then Jakg?

It's not 'that' unusual for a new PC which has been delivered to have something which has worked it's way loose in transit.

Start off with the basics.

Check the speakers actually work.
Make sure the sound volume isn't set to 0, or set to mute.
Make sure the speakers are plugged into the correct ports.
Does Windows actually 'see' the sound card in the device manager, and if so, does it say if the driver for it is installed and working correctly.
Try uninstalling and re-installing the sound card.
If it's an add-in card rather than onboard, re-seat the card.

I'm fairly sure I recall a conversation during the commentary last season, where Martin Brundell mentioned that the tyre sidewalls are so large in F1 in comarison to most other motorsports, because the tyres are an integral part of the suspension.
The teams use the ability of the tyres to absorb the bumps in the road to enable them to keep the weight of the rest of the suspension system down.

I was planning a fresh OS install of both systems in the near future anyway, I'll see if I can get it done tomorrow and see what happens.

Both the Ultimate and Home Premium versions I'm running, are updated to SP1.
In fact, the Home Premium version, is an SP1 install disk.

Tested it now on Vista Home Premium 64 bit, works ok on that without the lfs.exe needing to be 'run as admin'.
Could someone else with Vista Ultimate test this?
Both 32 and 64 bit.

OK found it
Y18 and earlier, LFS will run fine whether you run it as Admin or not.
Y19, you need to run the LFS.exe as Admin or you get the 'font not found' error.
This is on Vista Ultimate 64 bit, I've not tested it on other Vista versions.

This also only applies to a fresh install and update. Older installs will update without any issues.

Quote from dan12s :i need help and very quick
i go to go on lfs and it says cant load font please help me i got an event in an hour and half

I've been able to reproduce this on Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
If I do a fresh install of LFS version Y, it runs ok, if I then update it to Y19, I get this error.
All previous installs of LFS will update without any problems, (I've been able to update from Y and Y18 without any issues), but I've now done 3 fresh installs and updated them, and got the same error each time. The fresh install will run ok prior to the update being run.

Screenshot of the error attached. Note - the mouse isn't visable in the screenshot for some reason, but it is bound to the lfs box in the top left, I need to use 'Alt-TAB' to be able to close the error box which then closes LFS.

yep, sounds like the motherboard.
What make/model is the motherboard? and do the beeps change if you have memory installed or not?

Motherboard beeps vary from board to board, some are loud, some not so loud.

If the processor was working in another motherboard, but it's not working in this one.
First, check if it still works in the other board now.
If it does, then there's either a problem with the motherboard, or with the way you fitted the processor.

Here's a picture.
I get it after the initial picture goes away, and before the host list comes up on the screen.

Seems to have started since the new version of the flash player came out, was working ok before that. The stand alone remote still works ok though.

I've no idea how HP's warrenties work to be honest. I was kind of assuming that since you were asking on here, that it wasn't in warrenty anymore.
Give their support line a call first and see what they say. They might be quite happy for you to do some things, but not others. And if they are happy for you to go about reseating the bluetooth card, they should be able to talk you through doing it.
