Well i think mine does as currently when i have the bike just on the clock light tends to flutter a bit, and then as soon as i start driving the clock light stops fluttering and all the rest of the lights brighten.

Hmm i have a question? Does anyone know how i can find out how much power is coming from my bikes battery?
So i can then work out how much energy would be used by the iPig and then see if my battery would be good enough to power it.

No no no, i dont plan on changing the stock speedo with anything, thats too much work and would leave the bike unesellable after.
I've now decided im just going to build some sort of thing underneath the speedos for the ipod, then find somewhere to put the PosiMotion device, then hopefully find where to put the two speakers from the iPig (The subwoofer will go underneath the chair).

The hardest bit i think will be connected the speakers/PosiMotion charger/iPod charger to the bike battery.

Ahah, is there no way to move the stereo further up? Normally you can swap it with something else such as like air con dials ect?

And ahah although i am rather worried about the battery not having enough power to power the ipig. As in that thread you linked me to someone said that bike batterys just arent designed for things such as stereos ect.

I dont understand how your stereo being low down affects your gps? Unless your planning on having the gps displayed on the stereo or something?

The two possible choices are above the clocks but itd have to be at a rather verticle angle, or underneath the clocks at the same angle as everything else.

Also this is just something im slightly thinking about which im not sure if itd work or not so id just like to know.
If i bought something likethis would it be possible to take it apart and change the mains plug so its connected to my bikes battery? Because i know of where i could put the speakers and the subwoofer on it.
Im just thinking about having this on so when we stop somewhere or are just out with our bikes near us i can play some music to keep everyone happy.
The only thing im worried about is that my bike battery may not be able to handle running the demolished iPig.

It depends on the size of what i get, currently only something which is small such as an ipod would go well on it, as i could (i think) just about put it above where my speedo is, anything bigger and im not sure where id put it, id have to put it further down near where my knee's would be which wouldnt really be ideal.

Exactly, with windows mobile im pretty sure if i wanted i could somehow set a way up to be able to control my lights from the screen, or have it display my speed/revs but with an iTouch its more limited, i dont think id be able to do the majority of that.

Yeah a tom tom itself isnt good imo, its big and its only good for being used as a GPS nothing else. Plus its kinda crap to use a tom tom while you walk around.

Thanks for the thread link but it wasnt perticulerly usefull, thats more an entire computer built into a bike, and its also a much larger bike, but something in that thread has made me think that perhaps there would be a way to get it so that the charger for whatever device i could get would work from my bike battery, i.e the charger for my ipod touch connects to my battery so i can charge the ipod whilst its on the bike, or perhaps charge the PosiMotion while i drive.

And a front/rear camera would be a rather usefull thing to have on the car. But i dont get what you mean by the navigation system being in an awkward place? How can it be in an awkward place? Yeah connecting it to your engine would make it rather hard to just transfer to another car.
What about getting some kind of accelerometer somewhere? Which will help tell you how many g's your pulling when you turn haha. Nah thats still rather pointless.

Yeah the waterproofing bit will be fine, a friend of mine has offered to build me a waterproof display cover thing with the stand.

Yeah i would rather it didnt take up much space which is why im not that keen on something big like a netbook. So an iPod Touch would be a reasonable thing to do it with but i dont like the limit on what you could do, where as with something like a pocketPC (From what ive read pocketPC's run off a version of windows built for small devices) would take up just as little an ammount of space as an iPod Touch but i would most likely be able to do more with it.

Anyways, as some of you may or may not know it was my birthday tuesday, and i got a scooter a present. Now me and my friends have gone through what we could do to it to pimp it out, so far i could repsray it blue, get my brother to do me some better vinyls, i might get some LED's hooked up in certain parts around the biked which are connected to their own seperate switch.

But then one of my friends said as a joke "how about we put a touch screen laptop on it?" We all just laughed it off, but now i think about it, it could be doable, and able to look good as well. But then their are many other devices that i could use instead such as Smart phones, Pocket PC's, PDA's and then other Touchscreen prodcuts.

The plan is to build a sort of like stand thing onto somewhere on my bike, and then have whatever i choose be able to be attatched and detached from that stand so i can take it off when i get somewhere. This would be good so when in 2 months im going to college i could drive up on my moped with this device on my bike, park my bike up, take the device off, and then use it throughout the day at college before going back home.

Although the device needs to have a purpose besides just being there to look good... the main purpose of the device that i need is its able to have GPS and then im able to use it throughout the day for reminders and notes and calanders and contact details and any other such thing which would help me.

So far i only have this option, which i am not that keen on.

If i was to do this option then it would be rather easy to get running as im comfertable using iPod Touches. I could just build a small stand onto my bike, put the PosiMotion device somewhere hidden but easy to get to for when it needs recharging. And then when im at college it's small enough to have comfertably in my pocket and be able to use it whenever i need to write something in.

If i was to get something like a touch screen netbook then id be able to do much more then what i could do on my ipod touch, as it would be running a windows OS and their are software for quite alot of things, and then the hardware to go with it.

If you know of any Pocket PC's Or PDA's or small touchscreen netbooks which are good as i really have no clue what is good or not in this field then please post links so i can go through them.

Any ideas at all would be great, not just a "stop trying to rice up your bike". If i find a point in this other then itd look cool then im going to talk to a few people about building it in, if i find its not feasable then i wont.[QUOTE]

It's things like that which bring the quality of MCW down.

It's currently unorganised because it was left to turn into crap.
Orginally there were 3 Admins. Andy and Ash.
And three moderators. Me, Jesper and Mikki.

We were running it pretty well until eduction caught up with Andy. He left MCW and hasnt come back in a while, leaving Ash as the only other Admin. I dont know what happened after that because then education caught up with me and i had to study hard for my GCSE's which ive just recently completed.
But i came back and it seems Ash left as well, and Mikki was made admin.

I came back on last week after Split-Second asked me if i would give him my money from MCW. It turns out he had been going around adding all the old members of MCW if he could have their money, and then just adding it to his own.
(This isnt exactly breaking the rules, but all monetry transfers in MCW have to be written somewhere, and there isnt a specific thread where you can just give money to others, so technically he shouldnt have this money, but Mikki just let him get all this money.)
So then Split-Second had a stupid ammount of money, which pissed alot of people off, and some of the other original members decided to leave.
Then a bunch of crap happened and now he's been made into a moderator, and is going around ruining and lowering the standards of MCW as much as he can.

But yes, MCW does need a kick in the arse to get it back running properly, and im seriously tempted to text Andy and get him online for a bit to make me an Admin so i can sort out all this crap thats gone on.

TBH Split-Second is a dickhead, he majorly pisses me off, he just goes around doing whatever the hell he wants, getting stupid ammounts of money, with a stupid ammount of cars. He's brought the standard of MCW way way down.

You dont need photoshop for anything. Performance parts dont have to be visual, so you dont have to do anything for that except buy the parts and add/deduct BHP&KG. And for the visual parts if you really want you can just use paint
