What do you mean "for that amount of use"?
I'd be using it an unbelivable ammount!
I'd be using it majority of the time, only time i wouldn't would be when im doing complicated work on my PC but chances are it'll still be in the background playing music.
But besides then i'm going to be constantly on it, using it for msn, skype, facebook, email checking, homework, coding, video viewing, music listning.
So i don't get what you mean by "for that amount of use"?
No.
I'm going to use it for msn/skype + internet.
Half my time on my computer im just on these three things. And because my tv is my monitor i cant watch tv at the same time. Nor can i PS3.
I've been wanting a laptop of some sort for a while so i can relax in bed and watch tv.
But just recently started looking at tablet PC's.
It's not JUST going to be on my wall you know Will only be on there 1/4 of the time.
It is true, it's actually easier to end it then to control it.
The hard bit is realising that you're dreaming without waking yourself up, sometimes you can realise your dreaming and then do something with your body instead of your mind, causing you to move in real life and wake up.
It is EXTREMELY hard to do, i've never found anyone else who could do it. Infact until TiJay mentioned Lucid Dreaming and i wikipediad it i thought i was the only person who could do it
Edit:
What 5haz said DOES make sense. Like i said, if you realise your dreaming and you do the wrong thing then you can wake yourself up instead of controlling your dream.
My first reaction would be to hit the clutch.
Who cares if the engine blows, much rather that then driving off an intersection and killing my family.
Although im sure at some point i wouldv'e realised that turning the car off would stop it accelerating.
It's not meant to be like that.
What you do is you use something like a key and you pry the buttons off the keyboard. Then you move them around.
One of the typical ones is to pry the D key off, and then pry the S key off another keyboard, then put the S where the D used to be.
Then you get ASS on your keyboard.
I wouldn't want to hold it on a shelf, wouldn't look as nice.
Much rather mount it to the wall and have it as close to the wall as possible, much more snazzy.
You could stream from your phone via bluetooth... Good for you because i don't have anywhere to stream to. I don't have bluetooth recieving speakers.
But if i just want to do something like check my facebook quickly then i don't have to wait 5 minutes for my computer to boot, and then go on facebook, and then shutdown again.
And it can be a pain, you have to scroll around to view the whole email....
Your phone will have a lower screen resolution.
Try stretching your phones resolution to a 32" TV, it's going to look disgusting..
For you it's pointless and i understand that, im also sure for others it's pointless.
But for me it isnt.
Just wish it'd be cheaper -.-
And they are normally huge though.
I can currently plug my ipod into my speakers, but it doesn't look that nice with a wire just trailing along my desk.
Much rather have something i can quickly put some music on with.
I wouldn't say it's pointless.
If i was to get one i'd create some sort of bracket for it and drill it onto my wall, i'd make it detachable from the bracket though.
That way when i come home from college it's on my wall. So as soon as i come in i can take it off hold(Im guessing it'll have a hold) and put some music on instantly.
No need to wait for my PC to boot.
I can also start checking my emails and facebook without having to wait for my PC to load.
I'd probably have an ipod to tv cable as well, and stream movies from my wireless hardrive through the iPad to the tv.
I'd happily pay £200 for something like that.
Wouldn't pay £400 though.
Therefore it's pointless at one price, but not the other.
Edit:
Sounds stupid i know, but next to my TV, underneath one of the wall mounted speakers and before my door i have a nice patch of nothingess on my wall. I could easily just mount it there.
So like i said when i come in i can just turn around and put some music on.
Also i think i may have used the words media center when perhaps that's not what i mean.
I mean to use it as something to listen to my music through while my PC is off, watch movies through, perhaps view photos and then check my facebook/email and browse the internet.
Im surprised nobodies made a topic on this.
Mind you was literelly only announced about 30 minutes ago.
I'm really liking it so far, im thinking about perhaps buying one when it comes out, then getting a sort of bracket made for my wall next to my tv which i can hold this in.
Then when i come home i can literelly just turn around to my wall and put some music on, i don't have to wait to turn my computer on.
Also means if i want to check my email/facebook quickly i can.
Just waiting for them to announce some prices and HDD sizes.
Although im hoping they have a version without any phone features.
Got my beta key the other day and finished downloading it today.
Played it a bit and the customization options are VAST! Dude, **** the sims, this things got more!
Im liking it so far, really liking the bit where your controlling your ship.
I think this is a stupid reason for dawesdust to get banned :S
Although he pissed me off majorly with his fanboyism of mac this was still no reason for him to get banned.
Just because he posted one image over and over in one post?
Arox has probably posted the same ammount of that image, except he just spreads them out.
The modding here is a bit silly imo.
