If they want some help, there already would be such a need on forum. It was suggested many times and I think, even Scawen said no to modders in near future. What brings us back as we are now (for last 2,5(?) years).

It's so sad, when developers say goodbye to their players and go to their work-shed and leave it just before some release.

-You can build or buy a Intel I7 with a decent video card like a gtx285/ati 57xx from Ebay for $1000 .And that will get you around -/+ 400 frames per second..... Enough ? Want more frames ? With $1500 you get a GTX 480 and around -/+ 700 frames per second.......

-And Even if you don't have $1000 you can built something better than my computer for around $600 if you don't mind using an athlon and an ati card.And that will get you easily OVER 200 fps...

So please stop trying to hold lfs back.Lfs has started to show its age.If it is not improved it will be left behind.And the people here that attack anybody that tries to suggest ways to improve lfs are the first that are gonna jump the ship when they see what the competition has accomplissed.

My 3 years old laptop CAN'T run LFS even on medium details! Sometimes I get too low FPS on start. I don't have money for another laptop/desktop. So I am against this. You can use modded dlls and other nice looking "user-patches" to make your LFS look beautiful. I think that 50% of people don't own gaming machine(s) like you do.

I've played it too, but soon after that I bought it. ;-)

Some time ago, I PM'ed Victor if they are going to extend max_number of cars on track. Answer was no, definitely not now.

Forget about new cars guys! Cars are worthless if you have nowhere to drive them. There is a big need for new tracks and or weather change.
2 new cars are more then enough some minor tweaks to existing ones. We really don't need to "play" another NFS car game, where you have shiny new cars.. LFS is about simulation, not being pretty ;-)

Bring us rain, night and some damage model and you will soon forget about new cars.
That's what is really needed for lfs.
Not some shiny stupid-super-duper cars...

Don't even learn to drive with keyboard. It's utter rubbish If you don't have a wheel, grab a mouse, play with settings for a while and master it. In 2 weeks, you'll be able to drive pretty well with mouse
